Chapter 2.4
Her mind went cold.
The wall Adele was pressed against had a small window high above. And this was, after all, a storage room. Adele, who had turned pale in an instant, began to struggle.
“Did you hear something?”
A knight’s puzzled voice reached her ears. Adele held her breath, listening to every word.
At that moment, the man’s hips moved slightly. Chereph still wore that infuriating smile. Adele tried to push him away fiercely, but he showed no intention of retreating. Instead, he adjusted his hold on her and thrust upward lightly.
“…!”
Adele choked back a gasp. Behind her, Chereph’s length continued to press upward repeatedly. Her face rubbed against the wall as she gasped for air, almost as if she were sobbing.
Unable to plant her feet firmly on the ground, Adele’s head tilted back. At that moment, Chereph withdrew completely, only to plunge himself back into her in one swift motion.
“Ahh!”
A cry escaped her lips. The footsteps outside came to a halt.
“I’m sure I heard something.”
The knights’ voices were now just beyond the wall.
It was terrifying.
“They say Adele Limier is difficult for the knights to deal with. Perhaps showing them a new side of you wouldn’t be so bad.”
The devilish voice whispered in her ear.
No, this couldn’t happen.
She shook her head desperately.
Please, just leave. This area was usually poorly monitored anyway.
But the knights seemed unusually diligent tonight.
“There’s something in there.”
“Bring a torch over here.”
—Creak.
The footsteps grew distant, then light from a torch illuminated the area near the storage room entrance. Adele struggled against him.
“Are you trying to announce that someone’s here?”
Chereph whispered. Adele, who had frozen in place, spotted a loose piece of cloth hanging nearby.
—Rustle.
Reaching out desperately, she managed to secure the edge of the cloth onto a nail in the wall.
At that moment—
The storage room was suddenly flooded with torchlight.
“I swear, there was something in here.”
“You’re imagining things. I didn’t hear anything.”
The knights had entered the storage room. Adele’s breath caught. Chereph’s lips curled into a smirk.
Their eyes met. Desire, barely concealed, glimmered in Chereph’s gaze.
What should I do about this urge to ravage you?
While his thoughts were chaotic and filled with expectation, Adele’s mind went blank with dread. She couldn’t bear for her colleagues—fellow knights—to see her like this. She bit her lip.
Even though his length filled her tightly, Chereph inserted a finger beside it.
“…!”
—Squish.
The wet sound of their connection echoed faintly. At the same time—
—Crunch.
One of the knights stepped on something inside the storage room. It was sheer luck.
“What’s there?”
“Nothing, just some leaves.”
“Seriously, can’t they clean this place up properly?”
When the other knight grumbled, the one who had stepped on the leaves laughed incredulously.
“Are you Adele Limier? You’re starting to sound like her.”
Hearing her name, Adele felt her heart plummet.
“If I were that perfect, I wouldn’t be living like this.”
The other knight’s lamenting voice reached her ears. Chereph chuckled silently.
Perfect, huh?
His expression seemed to say. Adele instinctively shook her head at him.
Not now, please.
If he pushed further, she wouldn’t be able to hold back. She wouldn’t be able to stop herself from crying out as his thick, heated length invaded her deeply.
But he was still inside her. And now, with his fingers added, he coaxed more wetness from her.
“There’s nothing here.”
The knight’s voice finally broke the tension.
Yes, go.
Adele clenched her fists tightly. At that moment, Chereph’s fingers moved, brushing against her inner walls.
“…!”
Adele barely managed to stifle her gasp, her hands whitening with strain. She could feel everything—the movement of his fingers, the wetness dripping down her thighs.
“Maybe it was just a rat or something.”
The knights’ conversation continued nearby. As Adele remained tense, Chereph withdrew his hand.
Just as she began to relax—
Chereph held up his hand, now slick with her essence, for her to see. The slippery fluid threatened to drip from his fingertips.
“…!”
If it fell, the sound would give them away. The storage room was far too quiet to hide such a noise. But she couldn’t move recklessly. The liquid already trickled down her thighs, soaking her.
Chereph slowly shook his hand, as if to flick off the fluid.
No.
Adele shook her head. Chereph smirked.
Then satisfy me.
There was no time to think. She just needed to prevent any sound. Desperately, she grabbed his hand and pressed it to her chest.
Chereph raised an eyebrow in surprise. His hand slipped beneath her half-open blouse.
“Let’s go.”
The voices came from nearby. Startled, Adele instinctively clenched around him.
“…!”
A muffled groan escaped him. Frozen in place, neither of them moved.
—Clang.
The torchlight disappeared as the knights left the storage room.
“I thought you were an innocent young lady.”
He chuckled lowly, thrusting his hips upward.
“Ahh!”
A cry burst from her lips. Chereph’s smirk deepened.
“It’s too soon to feel relieved.”
He was right. The knights’ voices could still be heard faintly.
No, please.
Everything now depended on Chereph. Yet, instead of feeling despair, Adele found her mind going blank with pleasure. She couldn’t pinpoint where it felt good, but her entire lower body burned as it accommodated him.
Chereph, watching Adele’s pale, overwhelmed face, began to move his hips shallowly.
The knights’ presence gradually faded. Once they turned the corner, the only ones left in the area would be Chereph and Adele.
“Perfect Adele Limier.”
“Ahh, ah…”
As the knights’ presence disappeared, her suppressed moans spilled out.
“So adorable.”
Chereph whispered in the gentlest tone she had ever heard, moving in a way entirely different from before. Slowly, he withdrew. She could feel every inch of him dragging against her inner walls.
“Ahh!”
Just as only the tip remained inside, he plunged back in. Adele, unable to support herself, sank into him completely.
She twisted her body, but escaping his grasp was impossible. His length reached places she had never imagined, leaving her dazed. Each movement sent sparks of pleasure through her mind.
“…!”
The wet sounds of their connection echoed. Chereph’s hips moved again, forcefully.
“Ahh!”
Adele thought to herself that the moans she was hearing now were ones she had only encountered before in the brothels she had visited during previous inspections. Back then, she had dismissed them as vulgar noises. But now, realizing that she herself was making such sounds, she froze. However, it was only for a moment.
All she could do was cover her mouth and endure the way her body swayed in rhythm with Chereph’s movements. Meanwhile, her hand, which had been bracing against the wall, began to slip.
—Thud!
Chereph immediately pressed her hand against the wall to hold it in place. With a low chuckle, he intensified his thrusts.
“Aah! Hnng!”
The world seemed to turn white. Her mind went blank.
She found herself focusing solely on the act. No, she wanted to focus on it.
Adele’s cries grew louder. The pleasure, which had seemed endless, now reached a clear limit. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably.
“Chereph, Chereph…!”
She called out his name—something she had never done before—clinging to it as if it were her last hope, while tightly gripping the fingers of his hand that had slipped between hers.
“I like the way that sounds.”
For the first time, Chereph didn’t find it unpleasant to hear someone call his name. When this began, he had merely intended to play along and enjoy himself for a while. Yet now, he felt as though he was being swayed by this fragile woman.
Even though it was Chereph himself who was making her lose control, it was he who felt overwhelmed, his mind filled with heat, unable to restrain his wild movements.
Pressing Adele against the wall, Chereph moved his hips recklessly. Adele, overwhelmed, found her mind going blank repeatedly.
“…!”
She felt something hot inside her. Chereph, who had been thrusting fiercely, now trembled slightly as his hips stilled. Adele had reached her limit. Her body trembled uncontrollably.
Her vision turned completely white.
Is this what it’s always like to be with someone?
Adele wondered absentmindedly. She looked weakly at the deep crimson eyes gazing down at her before closing her own.
“Are you tired?”
Chereph asked gently. Adele nodded. Her throat was dry, and she felt utterly drained. Slowly, Chereph pulled out from within her. His length was still thick and firm. At the same time, a liquid—whose origin was unclear—began to trickle down the thigh she had barely been standing on.
“Ah…!”
Adele flinched instinctively and turned to look at him. She tried to push against his firm chest, but he didn’t budge. Instead, he lifted her other leg, spreading her thighs apart.
Meeting his predatory gaze, which resembled that of a serpent or a beast, Adele felt reality crashing down on her.
She had made a mistake. And with none other than the Duke himself.
“I…”
“Ah, enough.”
Chereph interrupted her before she could finish. Whatever she was about to say, he had no intention of pretending this night hadn’t happened.
Judging by the confusion on her face, he could guess what she was about to say. Since he wasn’t planning to listen anyway, there was no point in letting her speak.
Reaching out, Chereph touched the slightly parted entrance where he had been just moments ago, tracing it with his fingers.
“What are you…”
“Stay still. I need to clean up inside. Unless…”
He smiled smoothly.
“Do you want to have my child?”
At his whispered words, Adele’s expression crumpled. Chereph found her reaction amusing, and with that thought, he pushed his fingers inside her.
Having wielded a sword his entire life, his fingers were thick and calloused. Yet, they moved more gently now than when they had first explored her. As his fingers withdrew, thick, white fluid dripped onto the floor.
“Hnng… Hng…”
Adele let out shallow whimpers. Chereph, recalling how tightly she had clenched around him earlier, licked his lips. Before long, the number of fingers inside her increased to two. Adele’s arms, which clung to him, began to tremble.
By now, everything that could be removed with his fingers had been cleared. Yet, the aftermath of her climax left her inner walls quivering, as if beckoning him.
—Squish.
The wet sound echoed through the storage room once again.
“Stop… Please, stop…”
Adele had reached her limit. To Chereph, her desperate pleas sounded sweet.
“Stop?”
He whispered the question into her ear, nibbling lightly on her earlobe.
Adele’s moans grew softer. His voice sent chills down her spine. When she turned her head to avoid his lips, he began trailing kisses down her neck. Her pale, slender neck was already marked with his traces, red and bruised.
Chereph felt an urge to bite down on her neck hard enough to draw blood. The sight of Adele, her face stained with shame and pleasure as she wept and begged, only fueled his desire.
When he finally withdrew his fingers, which had been moving deeply inside her, Adele, who had been tense, weakly rested her forehead against his shoulder.
It must really be over now…
Seeing her relieved smile, Chereph raised an eyebrow. This woman had an uncanny way of provoking him.
“You really don’t know how to leave a man alone until the end.”
He licked his dry lips and ran his hand up her thigh once more. Adele seemed to understand what this gesture meant. Heat began to pool between her legs again.
But that was as far as Adele’s memory went.
