The human seemed to be adapting well at the training facility. Thanks to the language recognition surgery, communication was smooth, and they chatted endlessly.
I became somewhat depressed. The human appears happier at the training facility than in my cage.
Was the human a creature that lives in groups? If so, maybe it would be better to leave them at the training facility.

While my human is living peacefully, the situation inside the cage has been quite interesting.
Everyone is peaceful in front of my human. They create an idealistic peace as if it’s a propaganda video. But when they go somewhere my human isn’t present, they fight among themselves.
I think this is probably because Lampresh gave excessive warnings to the humans in the cage. Those who get close to my human and behave well receive better treatment. They’re all clamoring to look good while keeping each other in check.
Of course, true to Lampresh’s words about the well-established hierarchy in the cage, there weren’t any major bloodbaths. Only a few in the upper ranks fought. Strawberry’s rank seemed solid as they stayed away from such fights.
The fights often led to mating. The losing specimens would get penetrated, or sometimes lower-ranking specimens would get penetrated. Or Lampresh would enter the cage directly to enjoy mating. True to the shameless Dowd clan, they didn’t seem to care that I was watching.
During this process, several humans were carried out but returned in perfect condition within hours. It was a mess. Of course, it doesn’t matter as long as my human doesn’t find out.

One human got extremely angry at my human. It was a specimen ranked in the middle tier who had recently been getting pushed around by higher-ranking humans.
My human was very bewildered when they suddenly came and got angry for no reason. An android soon came and took away the threatening human.
Peace returned to the training facility. But my human still looks uneasy.
I contacted Lampresh and expressed my displeasure. Lampresh will handle the rest.

After the incident a few days ago, my human became noticeably depressed. Strawberry, the leader of the group, tried hard to comfort them by staying close. My human also seemed to gradually regain their spirit by Strawberry’s side.
Then today, something happened. Strawberry kissed my human.
My human appeared somewhat surprised. When Strawberry started caressing my human’s body, at first they seemed to respond somewhat positively, but later suddenly pushed away in shock and ran off. Strawberry stared blankly at my human’s retreating figure, groaned alone for a while, then grabbed a lower-ranking human’s hair and went into the bedroom.
I was as surprised as my human but soon became calm. Well, being an adult, it was the age to find a mate.
Should I find a mate for my human? If I tell Lampresh, they would probably give me one human.

Strawberry constantly appealed their charms to my human.
My human seemed somewhat intimidated but couldn’t completely push Strawberry away. I wondered if Strawberry would be a good match for my human, and felt confused as I watched.
While Strawberry continuously flirted with my human, they also mated with other humans in the cage. Moreover, unlike acting gentlemanly toward my human, when mating with others, they acted violently by spanking, pulling hair, or choking. Sometimes they would even use tools to drive their partner to unconsciousness.
Even if violent tendencies can be corrected, mating with just anyone… Does Strawberry aim for polygamy?
Honestly, I found such characteristics very difficult to understand. It’s a trait we Arkea don’t have. Monogamy through imprinting is common, and when alphas pair with alphas or omegas with omegas, they don’t meet others until their spouse’s death.
Of course, we sometimes change partners during rut or heat without forming bonds. Some enjoy a promiscuous lifestyle and don’t imprint, or like me, haven’t found an alpha or omega worth imprinting with for a long time.
But we don’t sleep with others while seriously courting someone. That’s impossible behavior for us.
It was hard to understand. From my perspective, Strawberry was just a philanderer, a trash who arrogantly flirted with my human while fooling around. But my human didn’t seem to completely dislike Strawberry.
From the start, humans are creatures from a planet I can’t understand. So I couldn’t rule out the possibility that they have culture or sensibilities I completely can’t comprehend.
The Tetima clan never mates with their spouses and makes enemies bear their children, while the Si clan only has children right before death. According to Ezel’s data, while humans basically aim for monogamy, they practiced polygamy in the past, and such customs still remain in some places. They also said that many humans actually sleep with others despite being married.
My human’s mate not considering my human as their only partner? That’s incredibly arrogant. I want to kill them. But if my human truly likes Strawberry, I can’t kill them.

My human started hanging out with a human other than Strawberry.
It’s a human with black hair and black eyes just like my human. I immediately asked Lampresh about that human.
That human’s name is Rudy. While most humans in Lampresh’s training facility are named after fruits, this one stands out. It seems Lampresh received and adopted this human from someone else who was raising them.
My human was the one who spoke first. Rudy usually avoided people by staying locked up in their room or hiding in corners like the underground where artificial sunlight doesn’t reach. Since my human usually liked being in the sunlight, their paths didn’t cross.
Today, my human went underground to avoid Strawberry. They seemed to be getting tired of Strawberry. Then, unable to adjust to the darkness, my human stepped on Rudy who was lying on the ground. The usually silent Rudy screamed. Startled, my human helped Rudy up and started various conversations.
Though Rudy was very defensive, they couldn’t avoid my human and continued the conversation.
My human seemed quite happy, but to me, it looked like the beginning of a huge mess.
That’s because Rudy frequently slept with Strawberry. Rudy was the partner Strawberry sought out most often. Moreover, Rudy was often seen doing such things with humans other than Strawberry too. They were among the weakest in the training facility.
I wanted my human to date someone more proper. Someone strong enough to protect my human. But if my human likes them, there’s nothing I can do about it.
My human looks quite happy talking with Rudy. That’s enough.
