Crazy Match, Crazy Guy - CHAPTER 7 - Part 3
Tingling. At the sound of the front door opening, Sungkyung put her phone back into her pocket. She was furious with her husband, Min-seok, who had suggested going out to eat but shown up until it was 10 o’clock pm, using the excuse that it was raining.
“Hey! Why aren’t you answering your phone… huh? Eunho, what are you doing here at this hour?”
In the middle of scolding Minseok and preparing to reprimand him for not answering her calls, Eun-ho’s steps staggered as she was carried inside by his husband.
“Honey, I’m sorry I couldn’t answer your calls. My battery was almost dead.”
“But still, if you’re going to be late, you should call, right? Aren’t you considerate about the person waiting for you?”
“I came out of work and Eun-ho was waiting for me. He said he wanted to talk for a bit, so I was going to have a drink with him a bit and then come here…”
“But you should still have contacted me.”
Sitting down on the couch, Eun-ho, who had been guided by Min-seok, opened his mouth with a slurred voice.
“Seok, more, more drinks.”
“You’ve had quite a bit already, why would you want more? Stop drinking.”
Reacting to Sungkyung’s nagging, Eun-ho jumped to his feet and stumbled his way to the kitchen. Sungkyung glared at Min-seok and gestured with her chin.
[Go stop him.]
Min-seok quickly pulled Eun-ho back to the couch.
“Seok, come on…”
“What’s wrong with him?”
Sungkyung’s gaze turned towards Min-seok.
“Honey, let’s give him one can of beer and put him to sleep for now. It doesn’t seem like he’ll settle down like this.”
“Okay.”
Min-seok brought over a can of beer, popped the lid, and handed it to Eun-ho. Watching Eun-ho gulp down the beer, Sungkyung tapped Min-seok on the arm.
“What’s going on?”
“Well…”
“What?”
Min-seok brought his lips to Sungkyung’s ear.
“Did you know that Eun-ho has feelings for Wooyoung?”
“What? Eun-ho likes Wooyoung?”
“He confessed to her today, and she rejected him.”
“Wow! Eun-ho liked Wooyoung!”
He was a friend who had never shown any signs of liking someone, so the surprise was even greater.
“He was getting ready to confess to her, but apparently when he heard that she was living with Tae Jin, he made some inappropriate remarks about Wooyoung, something he shouldn’t have.”
“What did he say?”
“He called her an easy girl…”
“What? Ugh! He went too far.”
Min-seok sigh, rubbing his stomach.
“I need something to recover from this.”
“Want me to make some ramen?”
Min-seok always filled his stomach with ramen after drinking.
Even though he knew it wasn’t good for his health, he insisted on having them, saying there was nothing else that could fix him up like that.
“Are you going to cook it, or should I?”
At the somewhat coercive question, Sungkyung sighed and nodded her head.
“I got it.”
“Eun-ho, do you want some noodles too?”
Min-seok turned his head and saw Eun-ho dozing in the corner. With a can of beer dangling from one hand, Min-seok quickly rushed over and snatched it away.
“Asshole, you’ve finished it all.”
Shaking the empty can, Min-seok glanced at Sungkyung.
“Put him to sleep and cover him with a blanket for now.”
“Got it.”
While Min-seok took care of Eun-ho, Sungkyung went into the kitchen and prepared to boil some ramen. As she waited for the water to boil, Min-seok came to her side.
“Hey, babe.”
“Why?”
“Now that the seasons are changing, could you buy me a suit? I don’t have much to wear these days.”
“Honestly, do you know you have more clothes than I do? What kind of man is so greedy for clothes?”
“It’s better to be greedy for clothes than getting obsessed with games. Remember what I told you about our new guy? It turns out he’s spending quite a lot of money on games. I advised him that he’ll regret it later, but I don’t know if he listened.”
Scolding others on a topic he can’t handle himself.
As boiling water mixed with the noodles and soup, Sungkyung pointed Min-seok to the fridge.
“Get an egg.”
“Sure.”
Min-seok took an egg and cracked it into the pot. His mouth was hanging wide open. Ramen is really that good.
When the egg was about halfway cooked, Sungkyung turned off the heat and carried the pot to the dining table. Grabbing the lid, Min-seok sticks his chopsticks into the pot and stirs.
“Mmm, I always find this smell the best.”
“Better than your wife, huh?”
“Do you want to compare yourself to ramen?”
“I don’t know.”
As Min-seok blow on the noodles, the thought of a man named Jang Tae Jin crossed his mind.
“What kind of man is so handsome?”
“Who, you mean the guy who’s going to marry Wooyoung?”
“Are there other people around us besides him?”
“There’s Eun-ho. Eun-ho is also someone.”
“I’ve known him since high school, so I don’t feel anything for him. But I really had no idea that Eun-ho has a crush on Wooyoung.”
“It’s not surprising that he would have a crush on her. She’s the daughter of a rich family, and she’s so pretty. What’s strange is her not liking him.”
Since they often argued and bickered with each other, it would seem like they had no romantic feelings left for each other, but that wasn’t the case.
“Then do you like me because I’m pretty too?”
Min-seok, who was shoveling noodles into his mouth, furrowed his brows and raised his head.
“I’m eating, don’t make me feel bad.”
“Tsk. Can’t you at least say yes?”
“Hey, we’ve been together for 10 years. Do you still want to be told that you’re pretty?”
“Women always want to hear that.”
“Well, that’s how women are.”
Sungkyung snatched the chopsticks out of Min-seok’s hand as he shook his head.
“Hey, what are you doing?”
“How can you eat in front of someone and not ask them to try it at least once? You selfish bastard.”
“Well, you don’t eat late at night because you’re afraid you’ll get fat. If you had made it for me, you should have left some for you, so I wouldn’t have had to ask. What am I supposed to do now?”
“Just ask out of courtesy.”
“Get a bite already and let’s get this over with. I’m going to wash up and go to bed. It’s annoying enough that I got caught in the rain today.”
He wasn’t able to properly used an umbrella while he was carrying a tipsy Eun-ho in a taxi. The rain soaked his expensive suit.
Sungkyung let out a sigh, placing the chopsticks down.
“Go ahead and finish it all.”
“You want me to eat your leftover after you’ve had your fill?”
Without another word, Sungkyung left the dining. She glanced at the sleeping Eun-ho and went into their bedroom.
She changed into her pajamas and was lying on the bed, looking at her phone when Min-seok appeared, having finished eating.
“I’m going to take a shower.”
“Whether you shower or not, I don’t care.”
Ignoring Sungkyung’s sarcastic response, Min-seok shook his head and went into the bathroom. From the bathroom, Sungkyung listened to the sound of water running. She muttered to herself as she browsed the internet.
“Always asking for new clothes. It’s hard enough raising two kids.”
Grumbling, she yawned and tucked her phone under her pillow. She then grabbed the remote control, turned off the fluorescent light, and turned on the bedside lamp that was placed on the nightstand.
Let’s stop here and sleep.
The sound of rain hitting the window was truly pleasant to hear.
It would be annoying for anyone outside in this weather, but the sound of rain heard indoors felt cozy.
Just as she was drifting off to sleep, she felt a hand pull her into a hug.
“Why are you like this?”
“Why do you ask when you know?”
A hand slipped into her pajama top and pushed her bra up. Her nipples were caught in his hands. As Min-seok’s fingers gently touched and caressed her breast, she lightly swatted his hand away.
“Are you not letting go?”
“You like it too, why are you acting like this?”
With a stroke, he rolled her onto her back and lay down her facing forward, then he climbed on top of her and began unbuttoning her pajama top.
Sungkyung didn’t resist Min-seok’s actions. Though she wasn’t submissive, she just usually complies with her husband’s requests whenever he asked them.
After all, sex is the one thing that binds couples together.
As he unbuttoned her blouse and spread it apart, he unhooked her bra and raised it to her neck and took her nipple into his mouth.
He suck it eagerly, just like a baby nursing from its mother.
“Mmm.”
“Honey, it’s so good.”
Sungkyung couldn’t stay mad at him any longer, not when he makes that sound while sucking on her body. Even though she’s usually mad at him at times, he was a passionate man in bed.
Grasping Min-seok’s hair, Sungkyung began to sigh.
