Chapter 5 (Part 4)

As Brienne struggled to choose, Melin helped her a lot. From the latest trends to considering noble dignity.

Melin was more competent than expected. Perhaps that’s why Cardin put her by her side. By the time she finished choosing, the sun had set.

The rustling long dresses, fragrant flowers, catalogs with descriptions of decorations, and return gifts—everything needed for the wedding seemed to be decided today.

Melin, looking exhausted, finally showed signs of fatigue on her face. Even so, she kindly greeted and left the room.

Brienne lay on the bed. She was so tired that she didn’t even think about eating. She was about to fall asleep.

Knock, knock. Opening her eyes to the knocking, Melin carefully opened the door and entered.

“Madam, I brought dinner.”

She barely sat up.

“Leave it on the table. You worked hard today.”

“It’s nothing. Please call me if you need anything.”

Brienne nodded. Somehow, she felt closer to Melin today. When she smiled, Melin shyly lifted the corners of her mouth and left the room.

The smell of savory butter and roasted meat wafted, but she just lay on the bed. She didn’t want to get up any more as if all her energy had been drained today.

Something soft touched her forehead. When she opened her eyes, she met vibrant green eyes. As she widened her eyes, Cardin pleasantly lifted the corners of his mouth.

“I woke you up.”

“When did you come?”

Cardin gently tucked her hair behind her ear and said,

“Just now.”

She looked past him at the clock. It was 1 AM. She saw him again later than expected.

“Were you very busy?”

Cardin embraced her. With his hot breath and solid presence, he pressed heavily on her heart.

“There was a lot to do.”

“You have a lot of work, right?”

She was curious about what Cardin did but didn’t ask. Even answering seemed tiring.

Cardin completely wrapped his arms around her and exhaled as if leaning on her.

“Still, holding you like this makes me feel alive.”

“……”

“When you’re not here, it doesn’t feel like living.”

As she stayed in Cardin’s arms for a long time, he didn’t seem to let go. Thinking he might be asleep, she tried to pull away, but Cardin hugged her tighter.

“I heard Mother sent something today.”

His voice was unusually low. As if confirming something bothersome.

Just as she thought poorly of her father, Cardin seemed displeased with his mother. She spoke honestly.

“It was a pill good for the body. She said it’s good to take with the tea she gifted before…”

“I told you to throw it all away.”

“What?”

It was so unexpected that her voice naturally rose. Cardin slowly lifted his body and met her eyes. There was no laughter on his face, making him look even cooler.

“She didn’t give it to you with good intentions.”

“……”

“Mother is more cunning than you think.”

Brienne couldn’t speak. Hernes didn’t seem cunning, just unpleasantly honest.

“Mother is like your father to me.”

“……”

“So don’t accept anything from her.”

“But…”

“She’s the one who opposed our marriage the most.”

Brienne already knew well. As she looked at him silently, Cardin calmly said,

“That’s why I trust her even less when she treats you like that. She must have an ulterior motive.”

With that, Cardin seemed to have finished speaking and bit her lips. It was rougher than before. Her body fell onto the bed under his strength.

Cardin immediately began unbuttoning his shirt. As his firm upper body was revealed, he softly matched her lower lip. With deep breaths, his body stuck to hers.

As if he had been waiting for this moment, he moved without hesitation. When she gasped for breath, he briefly pulled away and then swallowed her breath more deeply.

When their bodies slightly separated, Cardin skillfully took off his shirt. As he untied the knots connected by strings without hesitation, he matched her lips deeply.

With a sticky sound, the sound of saliva echoed as if stimulating her ears. Every time his bare body touched hers, an excited breath escaped.

His solid body, pressing close, was unusually hot. His breath came out hot, and her chest heaved with her breaths.

Just as she was about to suffocate, Cardin slowly pulled away. Between their slightly parted lips, wet breaths mingled. Cardin didn’t hesitate and pressed his lips to her neck. As she gasped softly, his lips moved down her neck and collarbone without hesitation.

Every time his breath touched her bare skin, her breathing trembled, and her legs twitched. Each time, his firm thigh blocked her, preventing further movement.

Cardin slowly pulled down the dress strap. His breath scattered on her chest mound for a moment and then spread hotly over her n*pple. His soft tongue licked around the n*pple and lightly bit it.

A moan escaped at the stinging yet stimulating sensation. Cardin watched her reaction and sucked the n*pple deeply. Meanwhile, his other hand grasped her other br*ast, kneading it roughly.

Pleasure rose strangely with a faint pain. Cardin pulled away and looked at her. In his lowered gaze, a dark lust was felt. It was a different deep instinct from the gentle smile.

He looked at her for a moment and then completely removed the dress. Then he softly kissed between her thighs and completely removed the underwear below.

Then he lightly bit her earlobe.

“Did it hurt?”

She shook her head. Cardin smiled gently and kissed her lips, undoing his buckle. In an instant, his veined member was exposed. It was shockingly large.
