EPILOGUE (Part 2)
When she woke up from a short nap, Dian wasn’t in bed. She could hear the sound of water running from the bathroom, indicating he was showering. Still feeling drowsy, she lay on the bed. Her bed, in her bedroom.
They had moved over here because she felt more comfortable having s*x here than at Dian’s place.
I have to tell Herta that my milk has stopped. ……. Shall I send her a brief note later?
With a click, the bathroom door opened.
“Are you up?”
Yeah…”
Dian approached, drying his hair with a towel. His black hair looked even darker when w*t. Sitting on the bed, he gently patted her body over the blanket, which she was still cocooned in.
“Looks like someone’s a sleepyhead, Rienn.”
“Not really…”
Or was I?
After several climaxes, sleep poured over her. She’d fall asleep as if unconscious, only to wake up and engage in s*x again. It was a life of laziness and debauchery. Everything else was fine, but the lack of training bothered her.
“I need to train…….”
“Train?”
“It’s been a while. Now that the milk has stopped, I should start again.”
She had been postponing training, citing various reasons like discomfort due to leaking milk and awkward pads, but it was all just excuses. She was just too busy having s*x. Now she couldn’t even blame it on her milk anymore.
“But you’ve been exercising regularly, isn’t that enough?”
“…Well, exercise is exercise.”
She sweated so much.
“But it’s a bit different. I’ll shower quickly, and then let’s go train together.”
“Alright.”
Dian didn’t sound too eager to let her go. Invitingly, one hand slipped under the blanket and touched her. A warm hand caresses her bare back before moving to the front of her chest.
“You should too, Dian. No matter how good you are, you can get rusty if you don’t train.”
“I trained while you were asleep.”
“What?!”
Traitor!
She sprang up from the bed.
“Rascal! You went and trained without telling me?!”
“You were sleeping longer than I expected, but I waited a bit and then went…”
He explained, looking flustered.
Well, she was the one feeling embarrassed now. He had said it was fine since she had exercised, but he had actually gone to train.
“I’m going to shower.”
She got out of bed and headed straight to the bathroom. Dian followed behind.
“Want to shower together?”
“You just showered, didn’t you?”
“I’ll wash you.”
It was obvious where that was going to lead. The time to go to the training ground would be pushed back quite a bit.
“No, I’ll shower quickly and be out. Just wait.”
“Alright…”
In the Marquis’s mansion in the capital, there were two private training grounds. One was a spacious training ground where the knights trained, and the other was in a secluded part of the garden. She led Dian to the latter. As they walked along the beautiful garden paths, sword in hand, she suddenly remembered.
“Ah, yes, that’s right, the dagger.”
A dagger made by master craftsman Garolo Biator. It was on Yan’s birthday, and she’d been given one too.
“Do you like it?”
“I’m truly amazed, it’s the best dagger I’ve ever seen in my life. Have you seen it too?”
“Yeah, I saw it when it was finished before sending them to you.”
“It’s solid, but it weighs like a feather, not to mention the blade. Did you order it half a year ago?”
“Yes, I ordered it last year when I was at the academy.”
“What?!”
She was genuinely shocked.
“Last year, when we were still at the academy, you’ve been preparing for Yan’s birthday for the next year?!”
Whereas she had been living a life where she had forgotten about Yan’s birthday, let alone his existence.
“Good things usually take time.”
“I admire your planning. Yan seems to like it.”
Of course, I liked it too.
Dian nodded and smiled.
“I kept it in the place where I store weapons, but I didn’t bring it with me now. I’ll stick with my old one for today.”
“Okay.”
Arriving at the training ground, she drew her sword. He hesitated as he slowly drew his sword. She felt extremely comfortable knowing that there would be no more milk. They moved around to loosen up their tired bodies from their daily s*x and swung their swords a few times. After some individual training, they got closer to a duel.
“Let’s have a fight!”
“Be careful not to hurt your wrist like last time.”
“Don’t worry. Don’t go easy on me.”
“Come at me.”
Without hesitation, she swiftly launched into a fast-paced assault from the first move.
Clang, clang!
They collided and exchanged blows. If she was going to beat Dian, the best chance she had was to engage in a fast-paced battle and end it quickly. She lunged forward, slashing diagonally, X-shaped, and horizontally. He stepped back, parrying and blocking.
Only when he was blocked by a tree behind him, unable to retreat further, Dian began to counterattack. Now she backed off and focused on defense. She came to the center of the field, darted to the side, and looked for an opening. Clang! He was blocked, but he didn’t give up. He moved like a flash and clashed sword after sword. In a brief moment of struggle, Dian hesitated, then countered with a sweeping motion.
“Don’t hold back!”
He closed the gap in a flash and lunged. Clang! He twisted his wrist to block. They engaged in a fierce battle, each trying to outmaneuver the other. Instinctively, she swung her sword and twisted her body to dodge attacks. She focused solely on this moment alone, summoning superhuman strength.
But her trance didn’t last long. Her limbs grew heavy and her concentration faltered. Her combat strength dropped significantly, and her attacks were blocked and her defenses breached. She retreated for a moment, falling backward, creating distance. Dian didn’t pursue, so she gasped for breath, holding back.
“Ha, ha, ha…….”
“Shall we stop?”
He looked like he wanted her to stop.
“What, already…….”
She couldn’t continue speaking, panting heavily. Resentment bubbled up as she glared sharply at Dian.
“I told you not to hold back.”
When he withdrew the sword just after their recent clash, it was a clear act of holding back.
“I didn’t do that, I was trying to evade and counterattack.”
A lie.
She caught her breath, and blood rushed again. Dian’s leisurely defense was both exasperating and admirable. The speed-based battles were over, and she was quite exhausted. It was more like a sword fight to practice the basics than a battle to win or lose. She exerted herself, while he eased off and lightly clashed swords.
At times like this, she felt like she was getting a lesson from Dian. He was slow, but precise in his attacks, targeting her weaknesses. In an instant, she thought about how to counter and execute. In fact, nearly half of her skill was developed by Dian. She might not be able to beat him, but she could still hold her own against almost anyone.
“Ah.”
Unable to concentrate, she was lost in thought for a moment before consecutive attacks came. She quickly blocked them and stepped back diagonally and to the side. Dodging the attack aimed at her waist, she twisted her body, but then stumbled backward as another attack came. She lost her balance, staggering, and finally fell, landing squarely on her b*ttocks.
Ouch, my arse…….
“Rienn.”
Dian swiftly sheathed his sword and came to her side.
“Are you okay?”
He dropped to one knee, leveling with her. She nodded, out of breath and unable to answer.
I’m fine, I guess. It’s just… nothing.
“Get up.”
He spoke in a rhythmic voice like he was talking to a child who had fallen. Although she wanted to stay seated a bit longer, he reached under her armpits and lifted her up. Standing behind her, he brushed off the dirt from her pants, looking at her b*ttocks.
She felt both annoyed and fluttery at the way he treated her like a child.
Being someone who wields a sword, she too was drawn to strength. If she didn’t know better, she’d think he was just good at it, but she does, and she can feel how strong and amazing Dian is. She was sexually attracted to his strong, masculine body. She wanted to undress him right there, embrace his broad, warm chest, and engage in s*x.
Without realizing it, she placed the sword back in its sheath while looking at Dian.
“Are you done?”
“Yes.”
She impulsively grabbed his hand and led him. Without questioning, Dian followed her obediently. They left the training ground and walked along the flower-filled garden path, laughing quietly.
