SIDE STORY 2 (Part 2)
It was a lazy afternoon, and Dian still had work to do, but she thought she’d give it a try. There might be time for a quick tea break. She slipped into a light blue dress and left the mansion.
“My Lady, the Lordship is in a meeting.”
“Oh, I see.”
The door to the conference room on the first floor was firmly closed.
He must be busy.
She pondered whether to wait or not.
“Yes, it’s been quite a while since he entered, so I believe it will be over soon.”
“In that case, I’ll be waiting in the garden out front. Could you please let him know I’ve arrived?”
“Yes, I will tell the Lordship as soon as he comes out.”
“Thank you.”
Leaving the administrative building where Dian’s office was and where the officials worked, she came out onto the road and into the spacious garden in front. She walked along the flower-filled paths of the garden, enjoying the fragrance of the flowers.
Not in this garden, but in another garden, a garden near their mansion, she was cultivating herbs as a hobby. She had started out of curiosity, and since then, flowers and trees had become more familiar to her.
She walked across a suspension bridge over a small pond and walked through a variety of flowers. She stopped at one particularly beautiful flower.
“Is that a delphinium?”
The shapes were similar, but there were flowers of different shades of purple and pink blooming together. The stems reached up to her waist, and the flowers bloomed round and plump from bottom to top. She bent down to observe closely. It was when she smelled the fragrance of the flowers and touched the soil on the ground.
“Rienn.”
“Dian!”
As she stood up, Dian approached her briskly and hugged her tightly. She was enveloped in his broad embrace, receiving kisses all over her face.
Laughing softly, she also reached for Dian’s arms. As she lifted her heel in response, Dian lowered his head, and she kissed his cheek and lips softly. A beautiful smile spread across his face.
“I’m sorry, did you wait long?”
“No, rather, I didn’t expect you to come so soon.”
She wondered if he heard her voice in the meeting and quickly finished it.
“Is the meeting over? Aren’t you busy?”
“No, I’m not busy. The meeting is over, I just need to stop by the office before heading to the mansion. There are some things I need to wrap up.”
He seemed busy…
“Alright.”
Dian hugged her tightly and patted her back. It felt like they hadn’t seen each other for days. He held her shoulders, creating some distance between us, looked into her eyes, and leaned in, burying his face in her neck. Her skin tingled as he inhaled her scent deeply.
“Have you washed?”
Dian asked, running his fingers through her still-damp hair.
“Yeah, after training. I sparred with Raoul, and it ended in a draw.”
“Good job, Rienn.”
He patted her as$ in praise.
“Did you teach the kids well?”
“Yeah, they’re eager and follow along nicely. It reminded me of when we were young, just starting to learn swordsmanship.”
She held Dian’s hand and walked back the way they came. He mentioned that he needed to stop by his office.
“You were such a hardworking kid. The teachers at the estate missed seeing you when you returned to your father’s estate.”
“Really? Did you miss me too?”
He lifted their joined hands and kissed the back of her hand.
“I’ve been waiting for the day we could meet again.”
She laughed softly, feeling his sincerity in his low voice.
“Now we’re living together.”
She stopped walking again and stood up on her tiptoes to kiss Dian on the cheek. He smiled and leaned in to kiss her back. Their lips intertwined, their tongues gently exploring each other’s mouths before wrapping around each other. It felt moist and soft all over. They’re kissing, and a small laugh escapes her.
The garden smelled sweetly of flowers, and a cool breeze blew through. As they kissed deeply, Dian stroked her back slowly. His touch felt pleasant, and the kiss was sweet, making her heart race. They would touch each other from time to time, hugging and kissing…… and then having s*x.
After finishing their work for the day, they would go back to the mansion and…
She slowly pulled her lips away and took Dian’s hand.
“You said you had to go to the office.”
“Yeah.”
He gave her a wistful look and followed her out the door. They crossed the suspended bridge over the pond and walked along the path.
Dian’s office was on the third floor of the building, the highest floor. It was a place she often visited. She looked around at the elegant antique furniture before heading to the bookshelf.
“Just wait a moment, I’ll be quick.”
“No, take your time.”
The bookshelf was filled with books. She looked around for something to read, but most of them were related to estate affairs. Dian’s father, the Duke, had mostly retired from active duty and was currently enjoying his rest at one of the Duke’s estates. Dian had taken over the estate affairs on his behalf, so he had been quite busy.
Nothing interesting here…
Not finding anything particularly appealing, she randomly grabbed a book and lay down on the sofa, flipping through the pages absentmindedly. Nothing caught her eye as she drifted into a state of boredom. As she lazily glanced up at Dian, who was sitting upright and focused on his work. He was flipping through papers quickly as if he was in a hurry to finish.
I want to kiss his clean-shaven face.
He held a pen, signing documents with hands that were large and graceful in movement.
“Rienn, why?”
Perhaps sensing her gaze, Dian smiled and met her eyes. He seemed slightly embarrassed. She slowly got up and approached the desk.
“Just bored.”
It was a large desk the size of a bed, neatly arranged with documents and items. She felt an urge to mess it up somehow. She sat down on the one side of the desk that wasn’t cluttered and plopped down on her butt.
“Bored?”
Dian placed his hand on my thigh, momentarily pausing his paperwork.
“There’s only just this.”
He gestured to the stack of papers with his long fingers.
Seemed like a lot.
“Okay.”
Sitting on the edge of the desk, she fidgeted with her legs, gazing out the window in front of her. Behind the massive desk, there was a large window overlooking the garden. As she lazily watched Dian work, she looked around at the items on his desk. There was a glass hemisphere, catching the sunlight.
“Oh.”
One of her shoes slipped off. She expected Dian to pick it up, but instead, he glanced at it briefly before lowering his hand from her thigh to playfully touch her foot. His large and warm hand gently cupped her bare foot, stroking it before using his fingertips to tickle the sole.
“Ahaha, stop it…!”
She giggled and lifted her foot. Dian laughed along with her and reached under the hem of her dress to caress her calf. At the same time, his other hand hurriedly shuffled through the documents.
Almost done.
Rarely did Dian play pranks on her, but this time she felt mischievous too. She smoothly raised her shoeless right foot onto his thigh.
Dian immediately tore his gaze away from the papers and looked at her. They made eye contact and she coyly stroked his thigh. She could feel his thick, muscular thighs beneath the fabric.
He must be really strong to be so muscular.
She thought inwardly.
“You’re mischievous, Rienn.”
“I’m not being mischievous.”
Of course, it started as a joke, but somehow, she didn’t want to admit it. She wiggled her toes against his thigh, initially lightly, then gradually deeper.
“…Then what are you doing?”
Dian asked, letting her continue, her face flushed as she contemplated what to say.
“Tempting you.”
“Ah.”
He exclaimed softly before whispering.
“Keep going.”
