Chapter 6 (Part 7)

While Amelia was grateful for the chance to talk to Edwin, she also felt burdened. The room was filled with an awkward silence as they both kept glancing at each other.

She had planned to prepare herself and then confess, but now everything was happening so unexpectedly.

With so many unexpected events unfolding at once, Amelia was overwhelmed. Accepting the truth about the Crown Princess incident was hard enough, but now Edwin knew about her feelings too.

“Um, well….”

Amelia hesitated, intending to tell Edwin not to take what she said to the Crown Prince too seriously, but Edwin spoke first.

“Is everything you said to His Highness true?”

“What? Yes, it is, but you don’t have to feel burdened….”

Before Amelia could finish her sentence, Edwin stepped forward, pulled her by the waist, and kissed her. The unexpected situation left Amelia unable to react.

Receiving a sweet kiss as if from a lover, she couldn’t comprehend what was happening. But she focused on the kiss, savoring his breath after so long. Their lips parted lightly after exchanging saliva.

“You didn’t think of me as just a friend?”

As soon as their lips parted, Amelia asked with a puzzled expression. She thought he had always seen her as a friend, hence his lifelong friend remark.

“The last time I thought of you as a friend was when I was 13. For the past 10 years, I’ve never thought of you as just a friend.”

“What?”

Not thinking of her as a friend for 10 years…. Amelia blinked in surprise, unable to say anything.

“I’ve never liked another woman. I’ve only ever looked at you.”

“You only looked at me? Didn’t you get fed up with me because I was too selfish? That’s why you rejected my proposal.”

“Not at all. I didn’t want to burden you with marriage since you didn’t like me. Being the Crown Princess seemed better than marrying me. Besides, I planned to stay by your side even if you became the Crown Princess. I was born to protect you.”

“Then what about saying you’d get engaged to another lady?”

Edwin suddenly lowered his head. After hesitating for a moment, he answered with a slightly flushed face.

“I said that hoping you’d be a little jealous. I never intended to propose to another lady.”

“Edwin….”

Amelia’s eyes trembled slightly as she looked at Edwin. The emotions she had been holding back came flooding in.

He had loved her so much, but why hadn’t she realized it sooner?

If she had understood her feelings earlier, they wouldn’t have wandered like this. If only she had realized it sooner.

She wouldn’t have said hurtful things to Edwin, but there was no point in regretting the past. What mattered was that their feelings were now mutual.

However, she wondered if she deserved Edwin’s love so easily after having hurt him so much.

“Honestly, I still can’t believe it. I thought we’d be friends forever….”

Hearing her words, Edwin’s face twisted slightly. Looking pained, he let out a small sigh and spoke.

“It’s all my fault. I knew you started avoiding me because of what I did that day.”

“What do you mean? What did you do that made me avoid you…?”

Not understanding Edwin’s words, Amelia looked at him with wide eyes, raising her voice slightly.

‘Could it be?’

She had started avoiding him because of that dream. She hadn’t spoken to Edwin for three years after that. As she tilted her head in confusion, Edwin spoke.

“That day, when you visited the Birken estate, I showed you something inappropriate. I didn’t think you’d wake up since you’re a heavy sleeper.”

“My goodness. It wasn’t a dream?”

Realizing that what she thought was a dream was reality, Amelia covered her mouth with both hands in shock.

She almost glanced at Edwin’s lower body but managed to restrain herself. She was flustered, not knowing where to direct her gaze.

“I felt guilty for making you uncomfortable but couldn’t bring myself to apologize.”

“It’s okay. An apology would have been even more embarrassing. Why did you do that back then?”

Amelia lowered her head. Her face was continuously flushing, and she couldn’t bear to look Edwin in the eyes.

“Because I felt desire for you.”

“W-what?”

Amelia, who was nervously clutching her skirt to calm her racing heart, lifted her head. The moment their eyes met, she saw a deep desire in Edwin’s gaze.

“I couldn’t show it because I didn’t want to burden you. But now, there’s no reason to hide it. I want to hold you right now. Will you allow me?”

“Well, um.”

It was the first time someone had spoken so directly to her, and Amelia felt shy. They had just transitioned from friends to lovers, so the awkwardness was inevitable.

From lowering her head, she glanced at Edwin and, instead of replying, she stood on her tiptoes, wrapped her hands around his neck, and kissed him.

Even if it was clumsy and awkward, it didn’t matter. Amelia also wanted to be honest with her feelings and have Edwin. There was no need to hesitate any longer.

“I love you, Amelia.”

As their lips parted, Edwin shouted his love and lifted Amelia into his arms. He walked to the bed and gently laid her down. Lying on the bed, Amelia looked up at Edwin with trembling eyes.

He kissed her eyes, cheeks, and neck in short pecks. Then he buried his nose in her white neck, inhaling her scent. The ticklish sensation made Amelia’s body tremble involuntarily.

Seeing this, a faint smile appeared on Edwin’s lips. Looking at her as if she were a beloved lover, he untied her dress and pulled it down. Her chest, exposed in an instant, heaved.

“It seems you’re already prepared to accept me.”

Her n*pples were erect from the excitement of just the kiss. Edwin smiled as he pressed down on them with his hand.

“Not yet.”

Even though her body was heated, Amelia shook her head, thinking it was still impossible to accept Edwin’s large member.

“Don’t worry. I won’t put it in yet.”

Edwin stimulated her by rolling and flicking her n*pples while his other hand traveled up her thigh and between her legs. He spread her thighs and briefly touched her v*lva before inserting his fingers into her already tense entrance.

“Hah!”

The tight interior twitched, swallowing his fingers. Edwin briefly frowned.

“It looks like I need to loosen you up more.”

His hands moved simultaneously, one gripping her chest and the other stirring inside her. While the hand on her chest moved boldly, the one inside her moved cautiously.

It seemed he was carefully moving to relax her inner muscles. Despite this, her hips and lower back tensed up.

“Mm….”

The intense pl*asure from her chest and the subtle pl*asure from her cl*toris made her body tingle pleasantly. Her previously tense body gradually relaxed.

However, as the movements of his hand inside her became more intense, she couldn’t afford to feel at ease. The simultaneous stimulation from above and below doubled the pl*asure. Soon, a great wave of pl*asure swept over her, making her see stars.

Instead of answering, Amelia nodded.

Edwin’s fingers re-entered her. Amelia’s body flinched momentarily. A satisfied smile appeared on Edwin’s face as he stirred her insides.

He unbuckled his pants and revealed his fully erect p*nis.

After spreading Amelia’s thighs, he aligned his already wet gl*ns with her entrance.

“…I might not be able to hold back, so it might hurt. I apologize in advance.”

“What?”

Before Amelia could respond, his blunt gl*ns parted her entrance and slid inside.

His m*mber was still too large for Amelia to take easily.

Her tense body squeezed the intruder tightly. Edwin’s face twisted slightly, but he didn’t stop and pushed all the way in.

This might lead to small conflicts, but Amelia felt that she could overcome anything with Edwin by her side.

She reached out to Edwin.

“I love you, Edwin.”

Edwin smiled and responded with a kiss instead of words. Now that they had confirmed each other’s feelings, they only needed to think about the future. They made love several times, reaffirming their feelings for each other.
