CHAPTER 2
Leeseo tightly closed her eyes.
What was that? What did I just see?
She couldn’t believe what she had just witnessed. What she just had seen was utterly unbelievable.
She couldn’t think of any excuses or apologies she could come up with in this situation. Her mind was in a complete panic, unable to think logically. She had never seen anything like it in her entire life.
It was a massive d*ck, so enormous that any toned abs or long legs were completely unnoticeable. The thick genital situated between the man’s legs was the size of a person’s forearm, even in a relaxed state.
Could a human body part be like that? How could someone walk around with that in their pants?
No, it must have been a result of being too startled, I must have seen something wrong.
Unless the n*ked man, fresh out of the water, happens to be holding a club between his legs, there was no way she was seeing the wrong thing. Leeseo strongly denied what she had just seen, as it was too absurd to be true.
But when she cautiously opened her eyes again, it was still there. A grotesquely large p*nis, neither lacking in length not thickness.
“…!”
Startled, Leeseo snapped out of her trance when the man took a sudden step. In sheer horror, Leeseo turned around and ran as fast as she could without even uttering a scream.
Seeing the man’s face set in a murderous fury made her head spin, and all she could think about was how to get out of this embarrassing situation. The frown lines on the man’s forehead revealed his displeasure unmistakably.
Amidst this, the sandwich she was tightly holding on a tray wobbled dangerously and ended up falling to the floor with a clatter. Leeseo realized her mistake instantly, but there was no way to salvage the situation. She made a run for the exit.
As much as she wanted to disappear into the ground, even the getting out through the door was a problem. The newly installed door lock was unfamiliar, causing her hand to slip off repeatedly. After a few futile attempts, it dramatically unlocked.
With a feeling akin to being hunted, Leeseo hurriedly pushed the door and rushed outside, quickly slamming it shut. Her heart thumped frantically in her chest. If the man followed her outside, she didn’t know what she would do, her heart felt like it would collapse.
Desperate to escape, she quickened her pace, her footsteps echoing around her as they hit the floor as often as her pounding heart.
Heading towards the staff quarters, Leeseo stopped abruptly before she had barely gotten under the annex’s fence. The words Lady Shin had told her to deliver to the annex had caught her by the ankles, rooting her in place.
Leeseo glanced back with a bewildered expression. There was nothing she could do about the sandwich that had already fallen to the ground now, but she couldn’t just pretend not to know and run away, given the message she was supposed to deliver from the hostess.
Hesitantly, she turned to walk back towards the annex, her feet sticking to the ground as if stuck in a deep swamp, making it hard to lift them off the floor easily.
Reluctantly, Leeseo found herself standing in front of the main door again, extending her hand with what felt like a heavy weight. After a moment of hesitation, she knocked on the door, pondering what to call the man. My Lord? Mr. Kwon Tae-gyeom? Each one felt awkward
“……Excuse me.”
Finally, addressing him with an ambiguous term, Leeseo waited for a response from inside. She pressed her ear against the door and listened attentively. If it weren’t for what she had witnessed earlier, the annex would have been tranquil enough to be admired even in the middle of night, just as Lady Shin had described.
Did he go inside the house?
It would have been nice if there was a doorbell, but the annex entrance only had a door lock installed. Even if she rubbed her eyes and searched, there was no sign of any doorbell. Leeseo let out a small sigh and raised her voice a little more, trying to make it reach beyond the door.
“Excuse me, please.”
She thought while entering the password into the keypad, hoping that the man had gone inside the house. She prayed that there wouldn’t be another unfortunate encounter. If she could just slip inside quietly, write down the message to deliver, and come back out…
“…… w-what a surprise.”
Leeseo, taking a deep breath and feeling her heart skip a beat, looked up to find her view was blocked by the man’s broad chest. Even though she had called out, the man didn’t even respond. To her surprise, the man was standing right in front of her, blocking her way before she could even open the door and enter. The only relief was that this time, the man wasn’t completely n*ked, he was at least wearing something on his body.
“What is it again?”
The man frowned in annoyance. His strongly defined features, like a well-chiseled sculpture, exuded a strong and cold aura, but the sharp, sensitive expression with slight irritation ironically gave him an oddly sophisticated vibe.
He was wearing a pale grayish robe that clung to his well-built body, creating a seductive aura as if it were as revealing as being completely n*de. Feeling lost and unable to look anywhere else, Leeseo lowered her gaze and spoke.
“I have a message to deliver.”
Kwon Tae-gyeom raised one eyebrow in disbelief.
“You couldn’t even use the intercom for that?”
“Ah…….”
Leeseo stammered, at a loss for words. Though his tone was too abrasive, he wasn’t entirely wrong. Why hadn’t she thought of using the intercom? She had seen Lady Shin used it occasionally to communicate with the annex.
Leeseo scolded herself mentally, realizing that she could have simply used the intercom or conveyed the message through someone else at an appropriate time. She couldn’t fathom why she had felt the need to push open the door to the annex again with such a sense of responsibility. Even in her own realization, she felt incredibly foolish for doing so.
Her head throbbed strangely. It was as if her brain had stopped thinking properly at the sudden sight of a man’s n*ked body.
With a small shake of her head, Leeseo shook the scene out of her mind. She couldn’t afford to give the man any more reason to criticize him. As she did so, her eyes caught sight of the sandwich lying unceremoniously on the floor, seemingly abandoned and forlorn.
“Ah, Lady Shin asked me to bring you a sandwich. I was a bit startled earlier, so… I dropped it accidentally.”
Leeseo said, subtly conveying that her visit was merely an errand and had no intention of disrupting the man’s private skinny-dipping. The man’s head tilted in the direction Leeseo was pointing.
Kwon Tae-gyeom glanced at the sandwich scattered on the floor and let out a short, hollow laugh. His smooth lips twisted subtly, as if expressing a mocking amusement.
Sensing the atmosphere becoming more hostile, Leeseo knew she should leave immediately. She quickly relayed her hostess’s message.
“And also, there’s a family dinner planned in the main house at seven tonight. Lady Shin asked you to come over to the main house by then.”
“Who’s going? What’s it for?”
Kwon Tae-gyeom’s gaze suddenly turned fierce. While his looks had never been particularly kind towards Leeseo, now his eyes seemed to possess a chilling intensity that could pierce through a person’s soul. She could understand why the staff members who come and go from the annex were all on edge, walking with caution, as if walking on thin ice.
“Lady Shin’s invitation is for dinner…”
“Get out.”
A cold and cutting atmosphere descended. Kwon Tae-gyeom yanked open the door as if to tell her to leave. He gazed down at Leeseo with an emotionless expression.
It was evident that Kwon Tae-gyeom didn’t appreciate the sandwich Lady Shin had sent, and now that she’d said what she needed to say, it was time for her to leave. However, the man’s rude attitude left Leeseo momentarily speechless. It felt as if someone had poured cold water over her face. Leeseo chuckled softly, feeling a bit flustered by the situation.
“Why? Is there something more you want to see?”
The corner of Kwon Tae-gyeom’s mouth twitched into a rogue smile. A rush of heat surged to Leeseo’s ears, sensing the meaning behind the his words.
The loosely tied belt of his robe hung haphazardly around his waist, so carelessly tied that it would not be surprising if it fell loose at any moment. Whether it was a jest or a serious comment, it undoubtedly carried an inappropriate implication.
That guy is insane…
Leeseo glared at the man with sharp eyes. In response, the corners of the man’s lips twisted into a sly smile.
“What are you looking at, obsessed with voyeurism?”
Leeseo’s mouth gaped in disbelief. Obsessed with voyeurism? If anything, if they were labeling anyone, it should be him as the one with exhibitionism tendencies.
“W-what voyeurism? No, I just happened to…”
“You were staring too much. Does my d*ck look so tempting to you?”
d*ck…?
Leeseo doubted her own ears. The man’s face was nonchalant as he casually blurted out the vulgar words.
“A-Are you crazy? Why would you say something like that…”
The tired-looking man gave off an air of annoyance urged Leeseo to leave with a dismissive tone..
“Enough with the excuses, get out of here right now.”
Despite her anger was bubbling inside, Leeseo managed to suppress it and quickly turned away. Trying to quell her anger only seemed to make it worse, and something hot welled up inside her, ready to erupt at any moment.
She had only done what she was instructed to do, but she could understand why he might be displeased with her for entering the annex without permission, as she was told to stay away from it.
She reasoned that it was just an accident, and as soon as she crossed the threshold of the main house, she planned to erase the scene she had witnessed in the annex from her mind and act as if nothing had happened. After all, unless she received specific instructions like today, it was highly unlikely that Leeseo would come across Kwon Tae-gyeom within the mansion again.
But, the man’s attitude, as if she had seen something enjoyable for her, was difficult to ignore. Leeseo felt a little unjust.
To think that he would assume she enjoyed seeing him n*ked like some pervert while he was swimming…
Such a misunderstanding was quite troublesome.
“Excuse me, about that…”
Thud!
Just as she turned her head, the door slammed shut right in front of her nose.
