Lights Don't Go Out in the Annex - Chapter 41
CHAPTER 41
Lazily leaning against a pole, Kwon Taegyeom lit another cigarette and then was already gone. It wasn’t until Jin-gyeom, who had been watching him with suspicious eyes, reluctantly turned and looked in the direction where he had vanished before Leeseo could finally check the message.
[What are you doing and not following me?]
He sounded smug. It was a simple string of characters, but she could almost hear the man’s voice in her ear, languid and nonchalant, yet irresistibly dominant. Tearing her gaze away from the phone screen, Leeseo slowly raised her head.
Looking away, she stared at the path that Kwon Taegyeom have walked earlier.
She felt puzzled by his unexpected behavior, expecting her to come trotting out like a pet dog at its master’s call. As this thought crossed her mind, she couldn’t help but let out a sly chuckle.
The hollow feeling she’d felt when she’d heard the gossip of the employees during the day, unreasonably empty and restless, filled with an unwarranted sense of betrayal, the miserable and complicated emotions that had solidified within her. It wasn’t laughable at all that she wished for Kwon Taegyeom, the indifferent man, to go through the same.
He was a man who didn’t take relationships seriously. Complicated and petty emotions never suited Kwon Taegyeom in the first place. S*x was nothing more than one of the pastimes in his mundane and boring daily life.
She remembered the groups of people she had observed coming and going in the annex, mingling without any special rules. The one who was curled up next to someone that day would be in someone else’s lap the next day.
Just because she hadn’t witnessed him casually changing people and embracing women firsthand, thinking that he wouldn’t actually do it was a foolish and pathetic hope.
‘Lately, I’ve been thinking that the annex has been quiet because he might have found a woman. Someone he’s seriously meeting.’
‘Oh, come on, what woman? A woman… He’s not seriously meeting any woman. Honestly, the young master’s attitude towards women, that’s, other than our Chairman, he’s not interested in anyone…!’
Perhaps she had entertained the same misconception herself.
His hungry eyes were looking straight at her. That deep, sticky look in his eyes stirred up some sweet fantasy. Even as he skillfully elicited pl*asure from her body, sometimes his dry eyes would wander over her in confusion, as if he didn’t know what to do with them.
Leeseo wanted to believe that this might be a clue to the emotions that Kwon Taegyeom was trying to hide. So maybe…
Her face flushed. It felt embarrassing and shameful as if someone had suddenly discovered her pitiful inner thoughts.
Before she knew it, she was now standing in front of the annex’ entrance. Her hands trembled slightly as they rested on the warm door which was still lukewarm from the summer heat.
Stop it. If you stop here, you’ll be fine.
A chilled voice of reason whispered in her ear. She’d been momentarily swayed by a gorgeous, mesmerizing man. It was nothing more than just a few casual s*x.
Kwon Taegyeom was like a pit she couldn’t handle. A deep, deep pit that would melt her whole body and make her swim frantically in the whirlpool without realizing it.
She slowly removed her hand from the top of the door. In the distance, the loud and lingering sound of a car horn was ominously audible. She felt relieved that she realized it before sinking deeper.
She clasped the hand that had been resting on the door with her other hand and turned her body. Somehow, a refreshing breath escaped her. She took a slow step forward.
Creak.
The lock came off. The sound of the door opening made her heart pound. Leeseo’s mouth tightened in bewilderment, then, she felt a strong force pulling her arm.
“Ugh….”
In an instant, her body, which had been turned around, was suddenly yanked, and her vision spun dizzyingly. For a moment, she didn’t know what was happening to her.
When she came to her senses, she found herself pushed against the loudly closing door. The hard metallic door pressed against her back and Kwon Taegyeom’s eyes glowed in the moonlight as he stood right in front of her.
Trapped between his solid body and the door, she couldn’t move. His hungry gaze completely engulfed her, as if he were looking down on a prey he cornered and blocked.
He tilted his head without saying another word. Lightly sucking on her lips, Taegyeom spread her legs apart and pushed his thigh between her. Her eyes widened with embarrassment; he was already erect.
“Wait, wait, wait.”
Taegyeom breathed against the nape of Leeseo’s neck, muttering darkly.
“I didn’t think you’d ignore me like that.”
Leeseo quickly turned her head in the opposite direction to avoid his following lips. In response, a large, strangling hand cupped her chin and cheeks, forcing her to look at him.
“I didn’t ignore you, um, no… it’s just that… maybe you might think it’s strange.”
“It’s strange how you keep avoiding me, Hyun Leeseo. I don’t know why, but it makes me feel uncomfortable.”
“What are you… Ugh.”
“Is it because you’re not used to this kind of treatment?”
He muttered honestly as he pressed his lips deeper, and pushed his tongue in. His hot flesh pressed against hers, flicking lustfully across her teeth.
Her face was held firmly in place, rendering her unable to move, and it was strangely affectionate and controlling at the same time. A weak moan escaped her throat and her knees buckled.
A firm thigh nestled between her groins, propping her up as she threatened to collapse. At the same time, the hand that had been groping her waist slid up and under her T-shirt.
Leeseo twisted her head desperately to break free from the passionate kiss. She reached out urgently and grabbed Taegyeom’s wrist, gasping for breath.
His questioning gaze flickered between Leeseo’s restraining hand and her bloodshot eyes, his handsome eyebrows raised.
“What’s this? A new tactic to turn me on even more?”
“…”
“Successful, but trying to excite me more here will only harm you.”
As if to prove it wasn’t an empty threat, his c*ck pressed against her thigh, growing harder and larger. She could feel it throbbing underneath her.
“Don’t do cute things that excite me more when you find it difficult to accommodate me in your tight hole.”
He whispered affectionately, narrowing one eye. But the gesture of rubbing his erect p*nis between her legs was rough. A torrent of seminal fl*id surged out as if a dam had burst inside.
She was overwhelmed. Under the excitement of the flesh, reason flickered away, and she couldn’t exert any control.
Leeseo forcefully separated their lips.
“Do you do this with other women too?”
Kwon Taegyeom’s eyes widened slightly, as if he had heard something outrageous. His heart skipped a beat, and a sense of weightlessness seemed to swirl beneath his feet.
For a moment, she thought she had spoken without thinking much about it. But it was too late to retrieve the words that had already escaped her lips. The only consolation was that her usually impeccable way of speaking didn’t sound as desperate as she had feared.
“…”
The normally eloquent man gave her a dry stare, as if at a loss for words. She bit her bottom lip and endured the silence.
There were no rules between them, no reason or entitlement to restrain the other, only to feast on each other’s bodies like beasts in heat, driven by lust.
Asking such a question out of the blue might have seemed like an absurd gesture for Taegyeom, but since they had never started anything, he could end it at any time. That was the only qualification Leeseo had.
Taegyeom looked her over as if he were looking at a strange and grotesque object. His scrutinizing gaze lingered from her eyes to her nose to her lips, which were red and puffy from being sucked in by him, before slowly rising again.
“What do you think?”
It felt cowardly of him to ask the question so lazily, as if he were contemplating it.
“I don’t know. But…”
Leeseo stared up into the man’s serene eyes, devoid of any emotion. Dark brown eyes that glowed strangely. His pupils were dilated, like those of an excited wild animal.
His emotions were elusive and vague, but it was clear that he lusted for her, a desire that was etched in his pupils.
Kwon Taegyeom desired Hyun Leeseo. His eyes were saying it.
“If that’s the case, I don’t want to sleep with you again.”
Leeseo placed her hands on his chest and pushed him away. Taegyeom’s eyebrows quirked. She could feel the man’s heartbeat, thumping regularly through her palm.
“While you’re sleeping with me, only think about me.”
Her wrist was grabbed. The p*nis that had nestled tightly between their joined lower bodies began to pulsate roughly, stabbing her lower abdomen. It throbbed as if it were going to c*m at any moment.
She didn’t know what had turned him on so much. When she moved her hips backward to create space, there was no way to escape the strong hands that grasped her waist and coiled around her.
“Holy sh*t.”
He growled, his voice low as he yanked her up so their bellies were pressed together.
“Don’t stand out too much.”
His eyes, dark and fierce with searing heat, sent a murderous warning.
“I don’t like other guys hovering around my territory.”
Her lashes twitched convulsively.
“I can only tolerate so much.”
