CHAPTER 39 – The Beginning Of A Relationship
The kiss led to the elevator. From the front door, back to the hallway, Dojun couldn’t decide what he wanted to do most.
He needed to look into her eyes, he needed to kiss her, he needed to touch her everywhere, he needed to hold her tightly, he needed to put his body inside her. He wanted everything about her, all at the same time and intensely.
It was the first time in his life he couldn’t set priorities. He kissed her. At the same time, he lifted her skirt. He touched every inch of exposed flesh with reckless abandon. He pushed until Seoyeon’s waist bent, and then he scooped her up in his arms.
Placing Seoyeon on the island, Dojun kissed her again. He wanted to swallow Seoyeon’s voice that resonated through his body. Even gripping her pretty face and kissing deeply wasn’t enough. He could hear her shallow breathing. He felt Seoyeon struggling but didn’t stop.
He needed to smell her. Dojun quickly unbuttoned Seoyeon’s blouse. He buried his head in the nape of her neck and inhaled. Hearing her say “Ah,” he buried his nose and smelled Seoyeon’s skin. The sweet, soft scent of Yoon Seoyeon made his whole body tingle.
Dojun lowered his lips through the parted collar. Seoyeon’s fingers dug into his hair. They say you want to torment someone if you like them too much, and that is true. He wanted to bite, suck, nibble, and inhale endlessly. So, Dojun did.
No matter how much Seoyeon cried out in pain, no matter how much she screamed for him to stop, it didn’t dampen his desire. When he lifted his head to face her again, her face was flushed all over. Her bright eyes were tinged with shame, and she looked at him reproachfully. Dojun smiled, feeling good.
“Yoon Seoyeon.”
He called her name. It was the name of an insatiable thirst. Seoyeon lowered her eyes. Dojun found her lips. Biting her swollen lips again, he sucked repeatedly. He wanted to fill every gap in the delicate mucous membrane with himself.
With his lips still on hers, he lifted her up. Floating in midair, she wrapped her legs around his waist and clung to him. Dojun walked while firmly supporting Seoyeon’s back. Seoyeon cupped Dojun’s cheeks with both hands. The kiss continued endlessly.
Seoyeon felt her back touch the bed. Dojun’s hand hurriedly slipped under her skirt and pulled down her underwear. She lifted her hips to help him. They shared the same desire to embrace each other as quickly as possible.
Haah.
As Dojun thrust in hotly, Seoyeon took a deep breath. It was still overwhelming, but she hugged his back tightly. She loved the way his eyes narrowed with desire, the blue vein running from his forehead to his temple.
He slid completely inside her, their bodies meshed tightly. Their breaths grew labored, and their hearts ached with fullness. They looked into each other’s eyes while completely embracing each other.
“Stay by my side.”
Dojun’s voice was thick.
Never leave me again. Don’t even think of parting.
Dojun wrapped his arms around Seoyeon’s face and stroked her cheek.
“Because I love you to death.”
“Isn’t love just that, loving someone to death?”
Seoyeon realized that Dojun was confessing his love to her now. The man who had suddenly appeared one day and shamelessly demanded what he had now said he loved her.
Seoyeon raised her hands. She cupped his cheeks with both hands. She spread her thumbs and caressed the bones under his eyes. They were beautiful eyes. Sometimes cold, sometimes hot, burning something. Eyes that seemed to burn even the soul, deeply penetrating. Looking into those eyes, Seoyeon spoke to Dojun.
“I missed you.”
It was the truest confession she could make. She didn’t know if it was love yet. She only knew that she had missed him very much. So much that it was painful and difficult.
“Liar.”
Dojun said, with a look that showed he didn’t believe her.
“Really.”
Seoyeon said softly. Dojun laughed a hollow laugh. Then he ruffled Seoyeon’s hair again. It was an affectionate gesture, and it made her heart tingle.
Dojun slowly lowered his lips. He started to move, kissing her deeply. A sigh-like moan escaped from Seoyeon’s mouth. Time was flowing like an eternity.
* * *
Even after the long lovemaking ended, Dojun held Seoyeon tightly, not letting her move. Hugging her from behind, he buried his face in her neck and caressed her body. Exhausted and with no strength to resist, Seoyeon just breathed.
As her heavy breaths settled and her mind, which had been disoriented, slowly cleared, Seoyeon grew curious.
“But why did you ask to break up?”
Was the question strange?
Seoyeon wondered. Since they originally planned to meet for only two months, it was natural to break up, but still, it felt strange. He had come back after easily agreeing to break up, as if that wasn’t what he wanted.
“You said we shouldn’t hold back because we were going to break up. To eat good food, watch movies, and everything. So why…?”
Those were definitely Dojun’s words.
“There are only two weeks left, so let’s not make a big deal out of little things.”
Seoyeon, filled with curiosity, turned her body. She lifted her head to look at Dojun.
“Because it annoyed me.”
Dojun said as he pulled her closer. His fingers were playing with her hair.
“What annoyed you?”
“Everything.”
Everything?
Seoyeon looked up at him in confusion, and Dojun chuckled.
“I could see you preparing to part ways.”
Part ways? I mean, we clearly agreed to meet for only two months.
Seoyeon frowned at Dojun’s words.
“You hid the fact that you met Lee Sehyun and heard about the blind date. You were preparing to break up.”
“That was because we were supposed to break up.”
“Who said that?”
Dojun snapped, still running his hand down Seoyeon’s back.
“You clearly said back then that we would meet only until February.”
“That was your idea.”
Seoyeon tried to recall. She remembered Dojun asking if he had a choice. Seoyeon had answered him ‘No’.
“A guy desperate to sleep with you will say anything.”
Dojun said he had just agreed to it, and Seoyeon felt slightly stunned.
“So, you never intended to break up?”
“What kind of lunatic would suggest breaking up when things are going great?”
Dojun said and then looked at her with a knowing expression.
“Well, I guess there’s one right here.”
“That’s because…”
Seoyeon tried to protest, lifting her head. From the start, their relationship was problematic. She was involved with Lee Sehyun and with Dojun’s overwhelming background, Seoyeon wondered if Dojun truly felt nothing about it. Just as she was pondering, Dojun asked.
“When did you plan to tell me?”
“Tell you what?”
“The bullshit that Lee Sehyun told you.”
Ah…
Seoyeon closed her mouth. She thought Dojun hadn’t cared, even though he had seen them together a few times. She only thought he had misunderstood.
“You knew?”
“It would be strange if I didn’t.”
“How much did you know?”
At Seoyeon’s question, Dojun smiled crookedly. Come to think of it, Sehyun had completely stopped contacting her.
“Do you still have the USB?”
“Yes.”
She thought it was safe, kept in the living room drawer. Dojun pinched her nose gently and let go.
“You act so tough, but you’re soft inside. Anyone could take it, and you wouldn’t know.”
“That’s not true.”
Her voice came out muffled as Dojun pinched her nose.
“It’s in the drawer in the living room, right?”
“Yeah.”
Dojun laughed with a snort. Seoyeon had seen the Heritage case still in place a few days ago.
No way…
Seoyeon narrowed her eyes and looked at him.
Could it be that Sehyun’s sudden silence was because of Dojun?
“You didn’t even ask about the blind date. You pushed so hard to break up.”
How could I ask about that? And…
“It wasn’t because of the blind date that we broke up. We were supposed to end things from the beginning, so I just wrapped it up.”
“Do you always live your life according to plan?”
At Dojun’s words, Seoyeon nodded.
“Meet another man, get married, have a baby, that kind of thing?”
Seoyeon silently stared at Dojun, pondering if she could have really done that.
“No.”
Dojun asked again at Seoyeon’s response.
“What do you mean, no?”
“I thought about living far away, abroad. Whether it was for studying or working, I wanted to live where I wouldn’t see you. Somewhere we’d never cross paths again.”
I was afraid that seeing you, even by chance, would break my heart. Whether at Yeonwoohun, the department store, or the hotel, I was scared my heart would crumble every time I saw you. So, I thought I should run away.
“Why?”
Dojun asks, knowing that Seoyeon won’t be able to answer because there’s something he wants to hear.
“Because…….”
Seoyeon hesitated but spoke honestly.
“Because I can’t forget……. It hurts so much when I see you, so…….”
Dojun lowered his head and swallowed the rest of Seoyeon’s words with a kiss. The rising emotions melted between their lips. The tenderness flowed, gripping their hearts. As the kiss deepened, their bodies intertwined. It felt as if their hearts were entangled too.
“You’re not going anywhere.”
Dojun said, still wrapping around Seoyeon, then smiled as if he found it endearing. He placed short kisses on her nose, lips, cheeks, and ears.
Receiving kisses all over her face, Seoyeon felt a bit bad. She had only broken up with him because it was something they had agreed on before, but now, it made her feel like she had done something wrong. Meanwhile, Dojun hadn’t said a word and had watched her all along. Seoyeon lifted her head to look at Dojun.
“But if you had said something first, it would have been fine.”
“What?”
“If you had said not to break up.”
Dojun laughed. Then he leaned over, positioning Seoyeon to lie down while he came on top.
“You keep talking about breaking up, but I never broke up with you.”
Before Seoyeon could protest, Dojun lowered his head. As he heard her let out a short moan, he spoke again.
“I was just waiting, taking a break.”
Waiting for what?
Seoyeon thought, trying to control her spreading legs
“For you to realize how precious I am.”
Dojun’s playful words seeped into Seoyeon’s skin. His moving lips and slanted smile penetrated her body. Enjoying Seoyeon’s slow, rising moans, Dojun came up and asked her.
“Are you sure you’re just going to sleep?”
Seoyeon nodded. Dojun went down again. Her head tilted back, and a hot moan escaped her. Her vision turned red, and her heart pounded rapidly. As she twisted her waist in pleasure, he pushed her to the edge. Burying himself deeply into Seoyeon’s trembling body, Dojun said.
“Now let’s just date.”
At first, Seoyeon shook her head, then she moaned, then she cried. Finally, she said,
“Okay, I will. I will, so please.”
Even after hearing the satisfactory answer, Dojun didn’t stop. Wanting her to beg for a long time, he held her hands. He asked her to say she loved him several times, and each time Seoyeon responded, “Yes, yes.” Unable to hold back, Dojun kissed Seoyeon deeply.
It was the beginning of their relationship.
