Please Divorce Me Villain, I’ll Raise the Child Alone - Chapter 137
Seeing Raphael’s upturned lips while holding her, she could tell he was very excited. Edward had recently told her that Raphael was hysterical due to excessive work. Along with a plea not to send him to Raphael.
“Raphael, I feel dizzy.”
“Are you okay? I should have been more careful….”
At her words, Raphael carefully set her down and began to look around. With such a serious face, she couldn’t even pretend to be sick. He only showed this soft side to her. It didn’t seem to be the same with others. Seeing Edward begging with a pale face every day, it was clear Raphael hadn’t completely changed.
“I’m fine. It’s just that moving from a high place made me a bit dizzy….”
It wasn’t entirely a lie. She did feel a bit queasy….
“I was careless.”
His careful touch, as if she were a fragile doll, was amusing. Despite his large build, he could be so delicate.
“By the way, I thought you still had work to do.”
“That’s because Leonel pushed his work onto me.”
Her smile returned when she saw his frowning eyebrows. She tried not to show it too much, but she couldn’t control her emotions in front of him.
“It’s okay. I pushed it back onto Leonel.”
“Raphael! Leonel is still a child!”
Amelia was shocked by Raphael’s nonchalant statement that he had pushed everything back onto Leonel. Leonel had just turned six. The horrific memories of being six were gone. Leonel’s six years were now peaceful.
“Amelia, you treat Leonel too much like a child.”
“Because he is a child.”
“Ha… If you knew how cunning Leonel is, you wouldn’t say that. And while his body may be a child’s, his thoughts are not entirely that of a child.”
She couldn’t stop laughing at Raphael’s complaints while holding her.
“Not that you would believe me anyway.”
“Is that why you ran away with me?”
“How about we stay somewhere else for about a month?”
His hand caressing her cheek lingered. His eyes were filled with thirst and affection for her, making her wonder how she hadn’t noticed it before.
“You mean lock me up in a room for a month, don’t you?”
“Of course not…. It’s been a long time since we’ve been to the grand ducal castle.”
Looking at Raphael now, it was hard to believe he was the man she had once feared so much. He would seize every opportunity to approach her and beg her. The problem was that his begging wasn’t that of an ordinary person. Raphael’s way of pleading was noble and arrogant, not seeming like a request at all. That made her love him even more.
To others, he was the most cold and arrogant man, but in front of her, he acted like a gentle lamb. Though in reality, he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
“Are you tired?”
“No, I’m fine.”
As Raphael buried his nose in her nape and took a breath, Amelia’s waist trembled. Just the act of inhaling made her entire body tense. It was because every action of this man was filled with sexual intent. Even the way his palm subtly rubbed her waist was suggestive.
“I only need you, Amelia.”
“Wait….”
If she didn’t get a grip now, she would end up locked in the bedroom again before evening. Amelia used superhuman strength to push him away. Contrary to her expectations, he was pushed back easily.
“This isn’t working. I can’t live like this.”
“Amelia…?”
“Let’s use separate rooms for a while.”
Raphael’s expression as he looked at her was one of utter disbelief.
“At this rate, I won’t live to see another day. I’m constantly sleepy!”
No matter how much she slept, she was always tired these days. It was like she could never fully recover from her fatigue. Just when she thought she might be okay, Raphael would come at her every night. Raphael, who should be more exhausted than her, was instead as energetic as if he were taking some kind of drug.
“So from today, you’re not allowed to approach me.”
Raphael was so shocked he couldn’t say anything. Not until Leonel appeared and took her away.

‘Finally tired of him? I welcome it!’
“That’s not it.”
As soon as she moved away from Raphael, the goddess’s chatter filled her ears. Even though it was all in her head, she had to block her ears to feel like she could stop it.
She thought the issue of separate rooms was settled. Surely even Raphael would understand.
“Raphael…?”
Her quarters were filled with gifts, piled high. No, it was a mountain of gifts.
“I was wrong. I haven’t paid attention to anything. It’s understandable you’re disappointed.”
Did he think she had another reason for wanting separate rooms?
“When I stand in front of you, I get so happy I lose my mind.”
“What are all these gifts…? Is it because I said we should use separate rooms?”
The man with an intimidating build was fidgeting nervously. She didn’t need to ask where the gifts came from. He must have ransacked the merchantry. Thinking about how he had tricked her before made her angry.
“But even if I accept all of these, we’re still using separate rooms….”
“Amelia… please.”
This was unfair. He knew she was weak to that face and those words.
“Can’t we, really?”
His action of holding her cheeks and asking made Amelia want to close her eyes. It seemed Raphael was well aware of the impact of his face. The problem was that she kept falling for it.
“Mother! You promised to look at the garden with me.”
“I’ll see you later!”
If Leonel hadn’t come to rescue her just in time, she would have given in again.
“I almost gave in again….”
“To Father? Mother, you’re too soft. You gave in immediately.”
Though he was trying to be serious, his childlike body made him simply adorable. According to Elaina, Leonel’s memories were suitably mixed, so he didn’t act completely like an adult. In reality, Leonel was just a bit more mature than his peers.
“But… I can’t help it when I see his face.”
Just thinking about his face made Amelia’s cheeks turn red. She couldn’t handle how much her heart raced just now.
“And Leonel, how do you always show up at the right time? Every single time.”
“Ah… that’s….”
He trailed off and suddenly avoided her eyes, which seemed suspicious.
“No one’s telling you, right?”
Leonel had never looked away before.
“Could it be… Is Elaina telling you?”
It didn’t make sense otherwise. Leonel’s timing was too perfect.
“It was just a strategic alliance….”
“It’s not a big deal, but…. Are you using the child again?”
Elaina, who had been talking so freely until a moment ago, clammed up in this situation.
“Leonel, do you really dislike your father?”
“No… it’s not that. But….”
His immediate head shake showed he wasn’t sincere. Although they bickered whenever they met, she couldn’t help but worry deep down.
“I just want you to be happy.”
“I am happy! Really!”
“I’m happy too.”
Except for her lack of energy, she felt perfectly happy these days. Even that was just a minor complaint. She shouldn’t have spoken so firmly…. She didn’t understand why she did.
“But I think it’s unfair that Father monopolizes you.”
His pouting lips were so adorable that she couldn’t bring herself to scold him. She should have told him not to ask Elaina for such favors again, but it was impossible.
“Here! I managed it carefully because I knew you liked it!”
As soon as they arrived at the garden, she should have praised Leonel, who was proudly showing off with an excited face. The garden was very beautiful, decorated entirely with flowers she liked.
The problem was…
“Ugh!”
The flowers were blooming so brightly they hurt her eyes. The scent of the flowers stimulated her nose, but the problem was that the smell was nauseating to her.
“Ugh… ugh….”
“Amelia! What’s happening!”
Raphael, who had been following them, suddenly appeared, his face full of worry.
“The smell, ugh…!”
The sudden strong scent of the flowers made her stomach churn. Now she understood why she had been so sleepy every day. No, she couldn’t help but know, since Elaina was shouting excitedly in her head.
“What should we do…? It seems we’ll have to use separate rooms for ten months.”
His face immediately frowned, then his eyes widened as if he realized something. The unhappy future no longer existed.

Thank you for the translation!!! I didn’t know what to expect because the synopsis was so specific, but this novel turned out to be so so so wonderful to read. The reveal felt a little abrupt since Elaina mostly explained it all, but Amelia being Kendrick’s sister was still surprising. Nevertheless, this ending is so lovely, especially Amelia and Raphael’s confession. I hope hope hope your translated novels get more attention because both that I’ve read so far are hidden gems!! Please continue your amazing work!! Now I just have to wait for the side stories 🥹
