Prologue
She had just woken up from sleep and stared blankly at the living creature in front of her with drowsy eyes.
“Mua.”
The thing wriggling on her bed was undoubtedly…
“A baby?”
Her mind cleared in an instant.
“Aung.”
Gray eyes blinked innocently, chubby cheeks so plump they begged to be poked, small lips smeared with drool, tiny hands, and pudgy legs.
Thinking she might have seen it wrong, she rubbed her eyes and looked again.
“Habua!”
No, she hadn’t been mistaken. The living creature, babbling incomprehensible sounds and smiling brightly at her, was indeed a baby.
And a baby she had never seen before.
