Secret Heaven - Chapter 1 (Part 1)
Chapter 1 (Part 1)
There was no denying that a part of her memory was riddled with questions.
But had that significantly impacted her life afterward? If asked that, the answer would be no. In fact, judging by the circumstances, it was quite the opposite. Now, she was living as if she were in paradise.
Of course, that was entirely thanks to her husband.
Levin was a gentle man, possessing a variety of charms—some of which were cheerful and even a bit mischievous. Above all, he cherished her dearly.
Moreover, he had an appearance so beautiful that it often left her in awe whenever she looked at him. Because of this, a simple countrywoman like her often found herself staring in a daze at his face every morning when she opened her eyes.
“How on earth did someone like him become my husband?”
Muttering this to herself, she would gently stroke his pale cheek. Then, as if sensing her touch, he would slowly open his eyes, still half-asleep. Even in his drowsy state, he would grasp her hand and press a soft kiss to her palm. With a low, slightly raspy voice, he would respond,
“Cordelia? Why are you up so early? Go back to sleep. The sun hasn’t even risen yet…”
At that, she would deliberately reply in a slightly more playful tone,
“I’m already awake! I’m going to bother you and have some fun now!”
He would then chuckle, as if finding her words absurd, and blink his honey-colored eyes. Those were the eyes she loved most in the world. When those eyes looked at her, reflecting her face, and when they smiled with overflowing affection, she felt a happiness akin to being in heaven.
“No way. Come here. Let’s sleep while hugging.”
That signified that the lost past no longer had any real influence over them.
After all, from that day onward, they had no reason to dig up the past. From then on, she and Levin focused solely on erasing the lingering awkwardness between them.
It was as if they had just begun to get to know each other, constantly thinking, ‘What should we do tomorrow to grow closer?’ Her mind was filled with such thoughts every day, and from what she could tell, Levin was the same.
At first, they practiced holding hands slowly. Then, to get used to hugging, they awkwardly spread their arms and ran into each other’s embrace.
He had broad, impressive shoulders that could completely envelop her when she leaned into him, and because of that, she often found herself giggling softly. It felt like being wrapped in a warm, enormous blanket.
Whenever he asked, ‘Why? Is it uncomfortable? Do you hate it?’ she would always reply, ‘No, I love it,’ while holding him even tighter around the waist. At moments like that, Levin’s pale ears and nape would quickly turn red—so much so that she often felt an irresistible urge to kiss him there.
On days when he didn’t have to go out for work, they would spend the entire day sitting close to each other. Naturally, this led to them wrapping their arms around each other’s waists, resting their heads together, and becoming accustomed to whispering conversations from such an intimate distance. Eventually, it got to the point where even a sudden kiss on the cheek wouldn’t startle either of them.
Of course, they didn’t always act like shy lovers.
In the beginning, he would flinch like a boy newly aware of the opposite s*x at even the slightest touch. However, he was entirely different when she was in pain. For a while, she suffered from the discomfort brought on by engorgement, groaning in agony. During those times, Levin would gently hold her from behind, rest his chin on her shoulder, and whisper softly,
“It’s okay, Cordelia. Just think that it’s okay. Soon, it really will be. I’ll make sure it doesn’t hurt anymore. You’ll be fine. Don’t cry.”
Repeating those words like an incantation, he would use his large hands to carefully relieve the tension in her swollen chest. There was something strangely comforting about his words and touch, so much so that she often forgot her pain entirely and drifted off to sleep, even after crying her heart out.
She believed that his care and tenderness played a significant role in them being able to share their bed relatively quickly.
For months, he had devoted himself to looking after her and soothing her with such diligence that she completely opened her heart to him. In doing so, she also came to trust him deeply as her husband.
At some point, she noticed a sultry glow in his steady gaze. Her heart raced with anticipation as she looked at him, and when her eyes drifted to the front of his trousers, she saw the unmistakable outline of his arousal, straining against the fabric.
Ah, he desires me.
The moment she was certain of that, she led him to the bed.
“Ah, ah! Ngh…! Ah… ah! Ahngh!”
In the beginning, Levin couldn’t even fully enter her, being overly cautious. But now, months later, once their intimacy began, he would charge forward tirelessly, like an unyielding stallion. Even when she complained about being exhausted, he rarely listened. Instead, he coaxed and soothed her until she desired him again, then entwined their bodies once more, mercilessly pushing his large member all the way in.
The gaze that once couldn’t even meet hers directly now boldly explored every inch of her body, including its most shameful, hidden places. His stiff tongue, which had drawn her laughter during their clumsy first kiss, now skillfully stirred her senses wherever it touched.
“Levin, ah, stop, stop…”
“Ha… You’re so soft inside… I can’t stop.”
“Ahng… ngh, ah!”
The more their bodies intertwined, the more passionate he became. And that brought her immense happiness. She could feel the awkward wall that once stood between them completely crumbling.
“Ugh…”
His heated body, moving rhythmically for a long time, trembled with a short groan. At the same time, she felt his large member, buried deep inside her, release hot liquid.
In that moment, as if by some unspoken agreement, they embraced each other even tighter. She relished the sensation of him pouring himself into her until the very end.
The feeling of being perfectly connected with one another came to her at that moment. The narrowed distance between them seemed to fill even the emotional gaps within their hearts, creating a path paved with love.
That night, their intimacy carried an especially strong sense of unity. Even after he cl*maxed, she found it difficult to escape the lingering sensations.
It felt as though the chaotic, uneven ground had been completely leveled that day. So, when Levin attempted to pull out after their act, she instead pulled him closer, tightening herself around him. She wanted the satisfaction to last just a little longer.
“Ugh… Why…”
“No… Don’t pull out.”
At her pleading words, he let out a deep sigh, then chuckled softly before asking,
“Does that mean you plan to sleep like this? Until morning?”
“Yes. I don’t want to let go.”
“You’ll be sore tomorrow.”
“I don’t care. I still want to sleep like this…”
With a slow response, she nuzzled her forehead against his firm chest. Fatigue gradually overcame her, and her eyes began to close.
There was no gap between them anymore. Intimacy had confirmed that completely. Perhaps that was why she didn’t want this moment, filled with affection, to end. She wished it could last until morning, or even forever.
However, unlike her romantic feelings, Levin groaned as if in discomfort. It seemed that the sensitive parts of his flesh were being continuously stimulated, leaving him in an awkward position where he could neither move nor stay still. Even so, he replied gently, “Alright,” and kissed her forehead and cheeks in turn, before holding her in his arms like a child and patting her softly.
“My beloved Cordelia… Cordelia.”
They had now fully returned to being a harmonious couple. Ah, perhaps the scenery tomorrow look even more beautiful than today. Perhaps soon, they might even discuss having another child. Their relationship had recovered to that extent.
With such hopes in her heart, she listened to his clumsy lullaby and drifted off to sleep.
Unaware that this was the very edge of peace.
