Villain Eaten By The Hero - Chapter 15
“You seem so tense. Let’s resolve this quickly and put your mind at ease. Want me to help you loosen up a bit? Want to have some fun?”
As a playful kiss approached, Belze backed away, extending her hand. Thanks to that, Hyena’s lips, which were heading straight for her cheek, landed on Belze’s palm.
She felt dazed, and the urge surged again.
“It’s fine. I just wanted to kiss and I don’t want to do it with just anyone…….”
“It’s not like you’re going to be judged for your personality or appearance, it’s just a simple kiss. I don’t suppose you understand what I mean yet. Well, I guess because you’re still inexperienced, so I can’t blame you.”
Belze’s cheek twitched with annoyance. She wanted to voice her dissatisfaction, but she knew better than to argue with Hyena, who was well-known for manipulating men both inside and outside the organization.
Rumor has it that after sleeping with Hyena, there were a dozen or so individuals who realized their true desires and joined their organization as full-fledged members.
So, in front of Hyena, Belze felt that her concerns were trivial and insignificant. If she were to honestly open up about her feelings, Hyena would likely respond with something like, ‘What’s pride got to do with it? Is your pride more important than satisfying your desire? Just go and have some fun.’ It was evident that Hyena would only offer solutions that Belze couldn’t even consider attempting.
So she kept her mouth shut, unable to say anything, and Hyena laughed slowly.
“Who do you want to do it with?”
“……”
“Is it a secret or are you too embarrassed to tell me?”
Though she couldn’t say it out loud, but Belze felt that the more she kept her mouth shut, the more it would raise suspicions. Recently, the only person she had been intimate with was Seo, so he was the most likely the candidate for being the subject of her musings.
Belze pushed back the hair that Hyena had messed up and stuck out her lips.
“Well, it’s not like I specifically want to be with someone, I just don’t like those ordinary guys out there. It’s not that I like anyone, it’s just that I feel like doing it with someone… you know, at a level that could be called a daydream… I need someone like that.”
She rambled on, not even sure what she was saying, but Hyena understood her perfectly. Hyena stepped back from Belze and snapped her fingers.
“I got it! You’re saying you don’t want to sleep with those mundane and ambiguous persons right?”
“Did you even understand me?”
“Then I have a new product for you from the Research Department, The Dream of the Dreamer!”
Hyena rummaged through her lab supplies and brought out a thin vial of tiny capsules. The container looked regular, but for some reason, it appeared oddly intriguing.
Hyena lightly shook the thin glass vial, causing the capsule inside to move, making a rattling sound.
“This allows you to meet the person you want in your dreams. It combines the use of a drug that induces lucid dreams, brainwave tracking technology, and the complexities of the dream realm.”
“It seems excessively arbitrary.”
“Well, we needed a test of the prototype anyway, so it’s perfect timing.”
“Are you ignoring what I said?”
“Let’s not get into that.”
It was surprising to have such a conveniently timed invention pop up, which Belze didn’t even know existed. Although it felt a bit suspicious, the proposal was intriguing and piqued her interest.
Maybe I could do things in my dreams that I couldn’t do in real life. No, wait, of course, there’s no guarantee that the man appearing in my dreams would be Seo. In fact, it would be better if it weren’t!
Desperately pushing away her delusions, Belze snatched the bottle out of Hyena’s hand.
“I don’t have to report the dream to you, do I?”
“You can describe the dream in general terms. The important thing is whether the person using it comes out properly and the quality of the dream.”
In response to her futile fantasies, Belle decided to embrace the reveries. She gulped down the capsule inside the glass vial.
“Dream will be constant and it will be effective for three days. Have a good dream.”
“Really… Does it really have to be like that?”
Belze gritted his teeth. Honestly, she’d kind of expected it, but it didn’t feel good to face the truth.
Sure, she had only been with one man sexually, so it couldn’t be helped. But in dreams, shouldn’t she be able to imagine diverse individuals to appear? Like handsome actors she had seen on TV or an ideal type she had never even thought of.
But, her subconscious mind seemed to ignore such desires and placed Seo in Belze’s dream.
Seo looked eerily vivid and seemingly lifelike, but it doesn’t take long for her to realize she’s dreaming already.
She was in a spacious room, with furniture like a bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers, which appeared realistic. But, within the room, there were whimsical things like elephant-shaped clouds leaping around. Beyond the large window, a pink-colored sky could be seen, with nothing else in sight. Naturally, it was clear sign that it could only be a dream.
Because it was a dream, Belze’s attire turned into a sleepwear. Not the cute or stylish kind, but a shabby pair of training shorts and a large t-shirt with strange English fonts.
It was something she’d casually put on after a hard day’s work, but it wasn’t something she’d wear in front of Seo in reality.
With that thought in mind, the shabby sleepwear quickly transformed into a well-dressed shirt, a white jacket, and black shorts. Seo, who was previously wearing training clothes, was now dressed in a casual suit.
“…What is this?”
Seo, with his bangs slightly falling over his eyes, squinted and examined his own body. The voice and mannerisms were unmistakably Seo’s.
A lucid dream, indeed. Apparently, minor details can be changed according to one’s desires. With it being so clearly a dream, there was no reason for her to hesitate any further.
Belze boldly approached Seo, who was staring at her, and firmly grasped his face. Without any hesitation, she pressed her lips against his, stealing a kiss. In just a few seconds, Belze captured Seo’s lips.
The lips she had been yearning for days and nights felt as soft and sweet as she had imagined. Perhaps it was the softest part of his body. It felt like she had conquered the weakest and most intimate part of him.
Immersed in the moment, she slightly parted her lips, and Seo’s lips opened in response. While pondering what to do, Belze playfully slid her tongue into his mouth.
Because that’s what Seo did to me, he had playfully teased the roof of my mouth with his tongue!
She wanted to put his philosophy of ‘payback’ into practice this time. She wanted to give back the thrilling sensation and the exact amount of embarrassment she had felt back then.
But, the moment her tongue touched Seo’s palate, her body was forcefully pushed back. It was Seo’s doing.
“Hey.”
Seo, holding onto both of Belze’s shoulders, lowered his head and brought his face closer as if to kiss to her.
“What are you doing?”
Seo’s face didn’t look like someone who was thrilled to be kissed, nor did it look embarrassed. Belze wished there was some shyness in it, but there was only his usual arrogant glare with a hint of sullenness.
And the words that followed were exactly what she had anticipated.
“You wanted to kiss me that badly? Coming all the way into dream for it.”
One corner of Seo’s face twisted mockingly.
“Ah… This is insane.”
The words slipped out of Belze’s mouth. The man in front of her wasn’t a virtual Seo or an imagined Seo, he felt like the real Seo.
His sharp-headedness and sly expression were Kim Seo’s trademarks. If it had been a product of her fantasies, Seo’s face would have blushed a little at least.
Is there a reason for Seo to be perfectly recreated like this? Could it be a virtual personality created by combining information from my brain?
Realizing that the Seo in her dreams now was nothing but just a figment of her imagination, she felt disappointed, but at the same time, it was thrilling. After all, this was just a dream. Whatever she said or did here was unrelated to reality.
It’s all a dream, a fantasy. It was an opportunity to unleash the desires she had suppressed. Belze once again approached Seo, bringing her face closer.
“You did it first.”
Pierced by her words, Seo gritted his teeth. His white teeth were visible through his slightly parted lips.
He flinched slightly, but he didn’t step back or push Belze away.
“You asked if it’s okay for us to do it, right? Why did you do that? Did you want to kiss me?”
“……”
“Why did you ask when you could have just done it forcefully, like you usually do? When have you ever cared about manners with me?”
“……”
“Talking about it makes me angry, you know? You jerk, you should have done it forcefully, that way, I would just think that you’re trying to fuck me over like usual, but why did you ask? Why did you ask?”
Seo remained silent, his face close enough for Belze to bite his lip right now. Seeing his face up close, which she usually couldn’t see clearly, only amplified her anger. The fact that his face turned out surprisingly well-defined annoyed her even more.
If he was going to live like that, he should at least have an obnoxious face!
Just as she was about to lash out one more time, Seo’s hand grabbed her face towards him. She was quickly pulled in, but the touch wasn’t rough. If she had seriously tried to resist, she could have gotten away from him.
But Belze didn’t pull away, she fiercely met his lips.
Their lips moved roughly, making a smacking sound as they separated.
“Why did you go along with it then?”
Seo wiped off the lip gloss from Belze’s lips with his thumb, looking down at her.
Her angry expression had been replaced by a defiant one, she didn’t even care when her lip gloss had smudged.
Belze pressed her lips together to fix the wiped off the lip gloss, then stomped her foot as hard as she could.
“Because of you! I was curious about what foolish idea you had!”
“Me too! I was curious about what kind of foolish reaction you’d show! Damn it, what the hell is this dream?”
“That’s what I was going to say!”
What a ridiculous dream this turned out to be. With a grand name like ‘Dream of the Dreamer’ she had expected some fancy and mystical dream. But now that she’s experiencing it, the accuracy of Seo’s personality manifestation is realistic. Hyena had once again created a useless invention.
Belze decided that when she wakes up, she would complain about wasting the budget on such inventions and request an audit of the accounting for these creations.
Everything was wrong, from the idea to the outcome. If it was a contraption for meeting someone in a dream, they should have programmed it meticulously enough to accurately bring fantasies to life. Trying to roughly patch together and reproduce someone else’s memories doesn’t feel like a dream, but more like a simulation experience.
Belze had wanted to kiss. To be honest, she had even considered going further than just a kiss, but for now, a simple kiss was enough to satisfy her.
But with Seo resisting so strongly, Belze had no chance, she was physically weaker than him.
“When I tried to kiss you…”
Of course, she didn’t want to kiss him with such sweetness and excitement. She felt like her heart was going to burst at that time, but who knows, maybe it could have been her blood vessels dilating due to anger or a panic attack triggered by a trauma.
She couldn’t conclusively determine if it was excitement or desire in that moment. Life is more complicated than one might think, and sometimes, certain things can only become clear after experiencing them several times.
So, despite her anger or the desire for a clear diagnosis of her feelings, she wanted to kiss him, but things turned out like this.
