Chapter 10

Dorothea leaned in and whispered into Alice’s ear.  

“I get along really well with Raphael. S*xual compatibility is also a blessing, you know. You’ll be spending your whole life together—if you’re not compatible, it’ll be unbearable, don’t you think?”  

“But still… isn’t it wrong to do that before marriage…?”  

“That’s just because you’re innocent, Alice. Maybe it was true for our parents’ generation, but nowadays, it’s rare for anyone to be a virgin before marriage. Why hold back?”  

Dorothea laughed as she added that the old King’s greed for a young, beautiful, and inexperienced virgin from a good family was the reason he still hadn’t taken a consort.  

“Th-then… what happens if you’re not sexually compatible?”  

Alice shuddered as she recalled the sight of Daniel’s large… thing she had seen every morning. She couldn’t imagine how someone like Daniel, with something so large, could ever be compatible with her.  

“Uh, well…”  

Seeing Alice’s distressed expression, Dorothea, who had been speaking excitedly, became flustered and replied cautiously.  

“Well, it’s still the early days of your marriage, so maybe you should try to adjust a bit more. It’s both of your first times, after all…”  

“I… I don’t think adjusting will help…”  

Alice’s face turned into a slight pout. She couldn’t fathom how she was supposed to “adjust” to something as large as Daniel’s member.  

Dorothea looked at Alice, her eyes spinning as if in thought, before lowering her head and carefully asking,  

“…Could it be that Daniel’s… thing is really small? Is it not enough?”  

“What? N-no, it’s not that. It’s too big—that’s the problem…”  

Alice blurted out her reply, and Dorothea burst into laughter.  

“What? That’s amazing. You’ve got the perfect husband.”  

“What are you talking about? I can’t handle it…”  

Even as Alice whined, Dorothea laughed as if relieved.  

“That’s so much better than it being too small. Do you know how many wives are worried because their husbands are too small?”  

“Really? Is that true?”  

Alice’s eyes widened in surprise, and Dorothea grinned mischievously.  

“Who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll be the one pouncing on Daniel.”  

“I…”  

Alice’s face turned bright red, and she replied with a slightly indignant expression.  

“I find it overwhelming. Honestly, if I could live my whole life without doing it, I’d rather not.”  

“Oh dear…”  

Dorothea looked at Alice with pity and said,  

“Don’t be so overwhelmed. Try to enjoy it, Alice. If you keep rejecting it and feeling uncomfortable, Daniel will feel burdened too.”  

“Then maybe it’s better if we just don’t…”  

“Why would you avoid it? You’re married! It’s one of the greatest joys allowed between a husband and wife.”  

Even as Dorothea emphasized this, Alice’s troubled expression didn’t ease, and Dorothea sighed.  

“I understand that it’s hard if you’re not compatible, but… just try a little harder. How many days has it been since you got married? Isn’t it too early to give up already? If men aren’t satisfied in their marriages, they start looking at other women.”  

At those words, Alice felt as though a bolt of lightning had struck her from the heavens.  

That night, when Alice snuggled into Daniel’s arms, he embraced her warmly. Alice still had a childlike side to her, and when Daniel held her like this at night, she would smile softly and fall asleep. For the past few nights, they had fallen asleep in this position, so Daniel adjusted his hold on her comfortably and closed his eyes.  

In Daniel’s warm embrace, Alice felt uneasy.  

‘Daniel… looking at another woman?’  

From the moment they first met, Daniel had followed Alice around like an imprinted chick. His devotion was something everyone acknowledged.  

‘Would someone like Daniel, who’s been so devoted to me, even glance at another woman? Would he ever leave me behind like that?’  

Among the young ladies of her age, Daniel’s unwavering devotion had made him popular. Occasionally, there were ladies who confessed their feelings to him, but he rejected them all without hesitation.  

Alice imagined Daniel walking arm-in-arm with another woman. She pictured herself being left behind, watching his back like the other young ladies who had admired him from afar.  

‘…I don’t want that.’  

In the darkness, Alice stared blankly at Daniel’s face before reaching out to gently stroke the corner of his eye. Feeling her touch, Daniel opened his eyes.  

“Hm?”  

When Daniel opened his eyes, he saw Alice’s somewhat anxious expression. He asked her,  

“Are you uncomfortable? Should I change my position?”  

Without answering, Alice wrapped her arms around him tightly and buried her face in his chest. She could hear the sound of his heartbeat in her ears.  

As she imagined another woman hearing this sound, or Daniel kissing someone else, Alice felt a surge of anger.  

‘I absolutely won’t allow that.’  

Alice liked Daniel’s soft, adorable tongue far too much to let anyone else have it.  

Quietly, Alice pressed her lips to Daniel’s. Startled, Daniel, who had just closed his eyes to sleep, opened them wide.  

At first, Daniel’s tongue quivered in surprise, but when Alice gently teased it, he responded, softly brushing his tongue against hers. The tender and delicate sensation of his tongue was as pleasant as ever, contrasting with his firm body.  

– …Enjoy it.

Dorothea’s words echoed in Alice’s mind, encouraging her. While she still wasn’t ready to accept his member, she was more than willing to enjoy kissing him. As Alice kissed him enthusiastically, she felt Daniel’s body grow noticeably hotter. At some point, his breathing became heavy, and he climbed on top of her.  

His tongue began exploring her mouth more fervently, teasing every corner with a mix of softness and intensity. The strange pleasure she felt from this made Alice let out an involuntary moan.  

“Mmh… Mm…”  

As Alice, overwhelmed, responded passionately to his kiss, Daniel began unbuttoning her nightgown one button at a time. The cold night air brushed against her exposed upper body, and at the same time, Daniel’s hand cupped her right br*ast.  

Alice’s eyes flew open in shock.  

“Ah!”  

“Shh, Alice. It’s okay.”
