Reunion pt.8
An ex who disappeared for a year suddenly shows up at his house, masturbates, and collapses n*ked. If it were someone else’s situation, he would have made a fuss saying what’s so pretty about that pervert bastard and to kick him out immediately.
He thought stories of people unable to cleanly resolve their own situations and dragging things out were only other people’s problems. In fact, Kim In-woo tended to cut off relationships with others rather coldly, almost excessively so.
But thinking about it now, the reason he could cut others off like that was because Radel existed. Because Lee Sun-ho, his family and lover, had become his everything. Because he was In-woo’s everything, he didn’t cling to relationships with others or get hurt by words. Conversely, after Radel disappeared, he felt a terrible deficiency.
Despite clearly knowing it was foolish and stupid, Kim In-woo couldn’t chase Radel away and just looked down at him silently.
“Sigh…”
His thoughts keep getting more complicated. He needs to rest somewhere without Radel at minimum. Since the other has a fever he should probably cool him down, but In-woo irritably covered Radel with a blanket because he didn’t want to see him. When the pure white summer bedding covered even Radel’s face, it made him seem like a dead person, so In-woo frowned deeply in contemplation before pulling out just his head. Then he turned the air conditioner temperature very low.
“Ugh, ungh…”
Radel, who was lying down, let out a groan. Whether his claims of pain were true or not, Radel who had never been seen in pain before had his face deeply contorted. Just as sympathetic feelings were about to arise, Radel secretly moved his hand toward his member. In-woo startled and reflexively grabbed Radel’s hand.
At that moment, as if instinctively reacting to In-woo’s touch on his body, Radel yanked In-woo hard. In-woo’s body fell onto the bed and Radel pounced on top, pressing him down. The surprised In-woo’s and Radel’s eyes met.
Radel’s eyes were completely red. With eyes that had completely lost reason, Radel reached out to In-woo. The moment Radel’s hand touched In-woo’s wide-eyed cheek, Radel frowned and mumbled something. Though he couldn’t understand the Arkean language exactly, urgency and desperation could be felt in his voice.
“I’m not trying to do anything strange.”
Through gritted teeth, Radel spoke with somewhat slurred pronunciation.
“Because I’m trying, to put myself to sleep…”
Before In-woo could ask what he meant, a bright golden light that appears when using abilities flickered over Radel’s blue pupils. In that moment when In-woo froze in fear, Radel’s body immediately collapsed downward. Only then did In-woo understand what Radel had said earlier.
The heavy body that had fallen defenselessly pressed down on In-woo. Radel’s member that had been consistently responding also rubbed against In-woo’s body. Radel’s hot body temperature transferred completely to In-woo. In-woo sighed with his face turned bright red.
“…What am I supposed to do when you fall asleep like this?”
In-woo mumbled in a weak voice. For a very brief moment, his hesitating hand went up and stroked Radel’s back. His fingertips tapped tap tap, then soon moved down lower as his palm rubbed the back. While patting Radel’s back, In-woo closed his eyes just like that.
* * *
When Radel opened his eyes, it was about a week after he had fallen asleep.
When he opened his eyes, in Radel’s view was In-woo who happened to be sitting on the edge of the bed. Is this a dream? In-woo coldly smacked away the hand that had reached out without realizing and stood up from his spot. Only then did Radel know it wasn’t a dream. Well, if this were a dream, In-woo would have intertwined their fingers and climbed on top while kissing him.
“Have you come to your senses?”
“…Yeah.”
Radel answered in a deeply subdued voice. The heat that had been raging in his body had disappeared without a trace. Though his body was weak from forcibly suppressing the rut, he was fine otherwise.
Radel looked down at his body that didn’t feel unpleasant despite not washing for several days. Arkeans don’t sweat much like humans but still, it would be normal to get dirty after suffering through a rut for about a week. But now he felt very fresh. At some point his clothes had been changed to his old pajamas rather than what he had been wearing.
“I called Kim Cheol-soo to change your clothes.”
In-woo explained as if not wanting to be misunderstood.
“He came whenever I tried to jump down.”
“…Don’t do that.”
“It’s not like I could actually fall anyway.”
“What if he was late?”
“I’d fall, what else?”
Radel frowned. Perhaps because of the cold words, it felt like blood would surge up again.
If he had known Kim In-woo would try to jump frequently, he wouldn’t have bought a high-rise apartment. It’s a height that would hurt even the original Radel if he fell, so if a small and delicate human like Kim In-woo jumped, he would die immediately. Though he knew the probability of Kim In-woo falling to his death was zero with numerous measures in place besides the android, groundless anxiety stirred Radel’s heart all day long.
Well, even if he blocked high places, there were many ways to commit suicide. Unless Kim In-woo’s mind fundamentally changed, the threat would always remain. He wanted to lock Kim In-woo up in a safe place right now.
Not knowing such feelings of Radel’s, In-woo maintained a consistently light expression. Like someone who would fly away with just one gust of wind because they weren’t putting their weight down on the ground.
Growing anxious, Radel grabbed In-woo tightly. In-woo frowned but obediently let himself be pulled into Radel’s embrace. When Radel buried his face in In-woo’s nape, In-woo’s unique scent wafted faintly. A delicate flesh scent that only stimulated the sense of smell, incomparably weaker than an omega’s pheromones. But to Radel it was more stimulating than any pheromone. His head felt dizzy. Did you think I would leave this alone until death? That could never happen.
“You can’t die.”
“Everyone dies.”
“Not necessarily. I’ll keep you alive in a state where you can’t die.”
“……”
“Please, just stay still before it comes to that.”
In-woo scoffed and kicked Radel away. Though it didn’t hurt, Radel stepped back willingly, and In-woo leisurely left the bedroom.
