“Hey, wake up, noona.”
A low, calm, yet impossibly gentle male voice echoed in her ears. Yeo-jin, still lost in deep sleep, stirred at the sound. But she couldn’t open her eyes right away.
Because the memory of what she had done to him last night came rushing back.
She had approached him while he was utterly exhausted, passed out from fatigue.
Then, she had bitten and sucked on his lips, pried them open, and slipped her tongue inside, mingling their saliva. His lips had been soft, his tongue smooth and hot. His taste had been delicious, and even his breath had been sweet.
“Haa, ahh… Come on, wake up.”
She also remembered the sultry moans she had let out during her desperate attempt to wake him. Wow, she had really lost her mind.
She had thought her kiss would awaken his sleeping desires. But absurdly, her kiss had lost to sleep.
But had he really been asleep? She had kissed him so aggressively, exploring his lips and tongue, that it was hard to believe he hadn’t woken up.
Maybe he didn’t see her as a woman. Maybe he had woken up but pretended to stay asleep to save her from embarrassment. That thought made her want to curl into a ball and disappear.
Even as she recalled his plump, moist, crimson lips, humiliation and shame took a backseat to the pounding of her heart and the quickening of her breath.
“If you don’t get up soon, you’ll miss breakfast and be late for work.”
He whispered in a low, resonant voice, shaking her shoulder lightly. Whether she liked it or not, she had to face him—and she had to get to work.
“Ahhhng!”
Feigning the grogginess of someone just waking up, Yeo-jin slowly opened her eyes. Her vision was immediately filled with the flawless face of a handsome young man.
The man waking her up after preparing breakfast was her part-time worker.
Of course, he wasn’t just any ordinary part-timer. He was the “fake husband” she had hired through their contract. Not only did he fulfill his role as her pretend spouse, but he also diligently performed household chores she hadn’t even asked him to do.
The problem was that her part-timer was unnecessarily attractive and irresistibly sensual.
“Having trouble getting up because you’re feeling down? I was totally out of it last night too,” he said, flashing a dazzling smile.
Why would he say something like that? Yeo-jin’s eyes narrowed suspiciously.
Could he possibly know everything and just be pretending not to?
