Prologue
Within the darkness, an unusually bright moonlight flowed through the window and spilled onto the bed. The golden hair, blooming and rippling across the bed, sparkled as it caught the moonlight.
Letting out a feverish moan, Erika’s cheeks flushed red as she shook her head, trying to deny the ecstasy the man was giving her. The more fiercely she moved her head, the more tangled and messy her hair became.
Her body, fully revealed under the light, was covered with marks where the man had bitten and sucked. As if leaving marks was not enough, the man pressed his lips heavily onto her body while simultaneously thrusting in roughly.
The sensation of her inner walls being scratched brought immense pleasure, so every time the man’s hips moved harshly, endless moans escaped Erika’s lips.
It felt good. So good that it felt like her body would melt, and that was the problem.
Is this what it means for bodies to be a perfect match?
She shouldn’t adapt to his body like this, but every time their tightly joined bodies met, Erika couldn’t come to her senses. Enraptured by the overwhelming sensations she felt throughout her body, she gazed at the man with languid eyes.
When their eyes met, his gaze softened gently. Soon after, a tender voice flowed into her ear.
“Darling.”
The man’s eyes, deceived by a lie, trembled finely.
Darling… She was not truly his wife.
Since the marriage had started with a lie, Erika’s heart sank heavily. The soaring ecstasy instantly subsided at the sound of the man’s voice. Her once burning heart seemed to cool and sink.
How did it end up like this?
Erika had never intended to go this far with the man. She had only planned to pretend to be his wife for a short while and then send him away. But where had it gone wrong?
