Prim quickly slipped his small hands past the bars. For some reason, Marli found it awkward to keep watching him so directly and turned her gaze aside.
It had been difficult at first. But once a male’s desire was kindled, there was no stopping it. Every time Prim cl*maxed, Marli managed to collect a vial—no bigger than her pinky—filled with “fairy essence.”
Just one vial was worth a year’s supply of food. By that measure, she was already rich. Of course, she’d already spent quite a fortune trying to brew elixirs.
“Ugh, Marli, I think I’m going to cum….”
Upon hearing Prim’s words, Marli quickly held her palm out in front of the cage. Prim, who was clinging tightly to the bars, ej*culated immediately.
A stream of hot, white s*men spurted out and pooled in her palm. Marli accepted it, looking displeased.
After the first day, Prim absolutely refused to ej*culate into a vial or bottle cap. He said it was a matter of pride.
This didn’t stop him from m*sturbating wherever he wanted, but Marli couldn’t understand it at all. Nevertheless, she went along with it — to a certain extent, at least.
She scraped the sticky fluid from her palm into the mouth of the vial. Prim, still sprawled out and catching his breath, finally spoke.
“Huff, I’m exhausted. Got any flowers?”
“You ate them all?”
“Yeah.”
“Ugh, what a pain. Aren’t you eating more than before?”
Marli grumbled as she wiped her hand clean. Picking flowers for him every morning and evening was a real hassle. And now that the flowers near the tower were nearly wiped out, she had to go much farther to find them.
At Marli’s complaints, the sprawled-out fairy shot her a sharp look.
“Hey! Of course I have to eat more if I’m giving something out!”
“Yeah, yeah.”
For something barely the size of a bean, he certainly had a big temper. Marli poured some water into the bottle cap and Prim spoke up in a tiny voice.
“But… could you maybe collect some dew for me too?”
Marli frowned. The cheeky little fairy was really starting to boss the witch around now. Not a morning person, Marli replied curtly.
“Ugh, that means I’d have to go out at dawn. Why?”
“I just… feel kind of weak lately…”
“You seem perfectly fine to me.”
At Marli’s unkind answer, Prim stuck out her lip in a pout.
Still, Marli felt a little guilty, knowing that a fairy’s main diet was flower nectar and dew. But honestly, what difference did a bit of water or dew make? In the end, her conscience got the better of her, and she gave a vague answer.
“Fine. I’ll try.”
Marli was only planning to try, nothing more. If she couldn’t wake up, well, so be it.
And so the promise was pushed to tomorrow, then the day after, and endlessly delayed.

Add powdered stone to four kinds of herbs and bring it to a boil, then add dried earthworms and larvae. Then, keep it on high heat for quite a while.
For the final step, Marli poured in the ‘fairy essence’ and quickly stirred the pot. The bluish liquid slowly began to turn a pale violet.
If it turned a deep, perfect purple, it meant success. But if it changed to any other color, it was another failure. Would she finally succeed this time, or would she fail yet again? Marli stirred anxiously, sweat pouring down her face.
Meanwhile, the idle fairy piped up.
“Marli. I’m bored.”
“Just wait a bit!”
As Prim buzzed around her ear, Marli waved her hand as if shooing away a fly.
“Tch.”
The fairy flitted away and gently landed on the desk.
A few days ago, Prim had left the cage. It wasn’t that a sudden trust had developed between witch and fairy. It was just that, while searching for the cause of her repeated potion failures, Marli happened to discover a fairy barrier spell.
After setting up wards on the windows and doors, she granted Prim partial freedom. Sometimes she regretted it, especially when the fairy was being annoying.
“Oh, oh, oh…!”
The pale violet liquid gradually deepened into a richer purple. Marli gripped the ladle with both hands and stirred with all her might.
Bang! With a small popping sound, a cloud of steam puffed up. Prim fluttered his tiny wings and flew back to Marli.
“Did it work?”
“Not sure yet.”
Prim sat on Marli’s shoulder, peering down into the steaming pot. Honestly, whether the witch’s potion succeeded or not had nothing to do with him, but he still found himself hoping for success. It didn’t feel great knowing all his hard-earned essence would go to waste otherwise.
The steam slowly cleared. Marli swallowed nervously and looked into the pot. As the last of the vapor dissipated, a clear, vivid purple liquid appeared.
“It worked!”
Overcome with joy, Marli grabbed the fairy perched on her shoulder. Prim, squeezed tight, let out a strangled cough. But Marli, blinded by the thrill of success, peppered the tiny fairy’s face with kisses.
“Ugh—!”
“It’s a huge success! Prim, we’re rich now!”
Whether the witch got rich or not was none of the fairy’s business, but he didn’t really mind hearing Marli say ‘we.’ Or the kisses, for that matter. In a small voice, Prim protested.
“Alright, alright, now let go. I can’t breathe.”
“Oh, sorry.”
As Marli loosened her grip, Prim fluttered back up and spun through the air. Marli carefully poured the potion into a prepared bottle, while the fairy circled the ceiling before settling atop Marli’s head. Even Prim had to admit—the liquid shone with a truly mysterious shade of violet.
“So, what kind of potion is this?”
“It’s something special. Super rare and expensive.”
“What does it do?”
“You’ll be amazed when you hear.”
Marli boasted as she corked the first bottle. No doubt, her ‘special potion’ would sell out in any shop in the city, just like in the old days.
“My grandmother invented this potion, and I’m the only one who knows the secret.”
It was Belladonna the Grand Witch’s special potion. Of course, the money was nice, but even more, she wanted to honor her grandmother’s legacy. The only reason she hadn’t tried before was that the ingredients were so expensive.
