Side Story 2.5
The incident Han Miso had been worried about occurred while they were drinking tea on the terrace after finishing their meal. Just as Mrs. Hong approached to inform them of a visitor, someone entered through the gate and crossed the garden.
“D-Director?”
Startled, Miso even spat out the tea she was drinking.
“Why are you here…? What’s going on?”
“You weren’t answering your phone.”
Miso’s face turned pale with shock. Yoo Jinwoo, however, casually greeted Leeseo.
“Leeseo, I must have surprised you by showing up all of a sudden. My apologies. I brought some clothes for Doyoon. I couldn’t resist because I kept seeing my nephew’s face in my mind.”
It was obvious to everyone why someone who should have been at work during the middle of the day had come here, sweating profusely. Yet, Jinwoo shamelessly used Doyoon as an excuse. Indeed, he was holding large shopping bags full of children’s clothing from well-known brands in both hands.
“Ah… Would you like to sit down? I was having tea with Miso.”
“Oh, should I? Then, I will.”
Miso’s face turned beet red as she looked too embarrassed to lift her head. Meanwhile, the person who had interrupted the women’s tea time sat down without a hint of shame and began sipping tea.
“How’s my nephew been doing?”
After finishing his tea, Jinwoo didn’t forget to hold Doyoon, using him as his excuse for visiting.
“Oh my, this little one has grown so much! Last time, he was so tiny that I didn’t even know how to hold him properly, but now it feels great to hold him. Haha.”
“Of course, he already weighs 8 kilograms.”
“That must put him in the top 5%, right? This little guy has definitely inherited his dad’s build. He won’t lose to anyone when it comes to size in the future. Haha! But his delicate and pretty features seem to resemble you, Leeseo.”
“Really? I think he looks more like Taegyeom.”
“You think this angelic and adorable Doyoon looks like Taegyeom? Not at all.”
Jinwoo shook his head firmly.
“They both blended well, but I think his eyes and nose resemble his dad, while his chin and lips take after his mom.”
At Miso’s comment, Jinwoo seemed to fall into deep thought before muttering to himself in a low voice.
“It would be better if our baby looked like Miso, wouldn’t it? I mean, I don’t have a bad appearance, but if I had to choose…”
At Jinwoo’s overly affectionate remark, Miso frowned in disbelief.
“We’re not even married yet, and you’re already talking about babies.”
“There’s no law that says when you’re supposed to start family planning. Once you’ve decided to marry, it’s never too early to plan for a family. After all, we’re going to have kids together, aren’t we?”
“Are you insane?”
Miso’s face turned bright red, as if she could hear herself screaming, “Please stop!” She gritted her teeth and warned him.
“Put Doyoon down carefully and get up now.”
She then turned to Leeseo with an apologetic smile.
“I’m sorry. The Director must have made things chaotic all of a sudden.”
“Oh, no. I was happy to meet both you and Jinwoo.”
“Well, we’ll get going now. I’ll contact you later.”
Meanwhile, Jinwoo, still holding Doyoon, was making strange noises while playing with him. Doyoon, seemingly fascinated by this unusual man, kept smiling brightly with his eyes sparkling.
When Miso pinched Jinwoo’s thigh to signal him, he reluctantly put Doyoon back into the bouncer. As he stood up, he noticed his shirt was soaked with Doyoon’s drool and let out an awkward laugh.
“This little guy drools a lot. Haha…”
“I’m so sorry. He’s at that stage where he drools a lot…”
“Oh, don’t worry about it, Leeseo. Babies grow up drooling a bit, don’t they? Since he’s my nephew, even his drool doesn’t smell bad.”
Miso pushed Jinwoo out of the house, practically shoving him. After the two disappeared beyond the front door, the house fell silent, as if a storm had passed through.
While wiping Doyoon’s chin, which was again covered in drool as he played with a toy in the bouncer, Mrs. Hong, who had been cleaning the terrace, hurried inside, clicking her tongue.
“Oh my goodness, how indecent.”
“What happened?”
Leeseo asked as she stood up, and Mrs. Hong hesitated awkwardly before pointing toward the garden.
“Well, I was cleaning the terrace when the two guests left, and suddenly, they started… doing that.”
Leeseo glanced toward the garden and saw vague silhouettes. Hidden behind the leafy trunk of a tree near the garden stone, it seemed Jinwoo had pinned Miso against the tree.
Realizing this, the rest was easy to imagine. Leeseo quickly averted her gaze and unintentionally muttered to herself.
“They’re a couple about to get married… I guess they have a lot to sort out.”
“Yes… That must be it.”
Both Leeseo and Mrs. Hong tried their best to avoid looking toward the garden as they awkwardly left the scene.

After returning from work, Taegyeom washed his hands on the first floor, hugged Doyoon, and then went upstairs. His routine after going out was to change clothes, take a shower, and spend time playing with his child.
Leeseo walked beside Taegyeom as he ascended the stairs to the second floor, chattering about the day’s events.
“Today, Miso came over, and we had lunch together. She must be incredibly busy preparing for the wedding, and with all the back-and-forth trips to the U.S., even two bodies wouldn’t be enough. So, I thought I’d see if there was anything I could help with, and we ended up chatting about this and that…”
“That must’ve been fun. Leeseo, you like Secretary Han, don’t you?”
Taegyeom smiled as he loosened the tie that had been neatly fastened to his neck. Once, he would have been jealous even of someone of the same gender as Leeseo, but now his reaction was much more generous.
“Oh, by the way, Jinwoo also came by in the middle of it. Did you hear about that?”
“No. Why Jinwoo?”
Taegyeom, who had been unbuttoning his shirt collar in apparent discomfort, paused and asked again. His long, sharp eyes suddenly hardened.
“He said he came to see Doyoon, carrying a load of clothes in both hands, but anyone could tell that was just an excuse. He couldn’t wait to see Miso. Apparently, the two had a little spat over something trivial yesterday.”
“…And?”
“Well, Miso wasn’t answering his calls, so he rushed over. Miso seemed incredibly embarrassed, almost mortified, and I felt a little sorry for her, but honestly, it was so entertaining to watch.”
Leeseo chuckled at the memory of the day’s events.
“I don’t know if this is the right way to put it, but I think I’m a little envious? You and I used to fight and break up, and people probably thought, ‘What are they even doing?’ But we had our intense moments, didn’t we?”
Leeseo casually voiced the thoughts that had been swirling in her mind all day.
“Now we have Doyoon, and our current stable life is incomparably happier, but sometimes I feel nostalgic for those days. When we’d scream at each other with all our passion, clawing at each other, even though the only one getting hurt was myself.”
If their love had deepened daily to become a vast, bottomless ocean, peaceful and stable without even a ripple, then those days had been the most precarious, unstable, and tumultuous times.
“Is it weird that I miss the times when we fought and fought? Maybe I’ve caught your weirdness…”
Lost in thought, Leeseo murmured to herself but suddenly realized how unnaturally quiet it was around her. When she looked up at Taegyeom, she instantly regretted it.
“How could you possibly envy Yoo Jinwoo…?”
Taegyeom murmured darkly, his usually composed face now uncharacteristically blank. A foreboding sense of danger immediately set off alarm bells in her mind. But it was already too late. Taegyeom’s eyes had already lost their usual clarity.
“Come to think of it, I’ve been far too well-behaved lately.”
A piercing scream echoed. In the blink of an eye, Leeseo found herself tossed onto the sofa on the second floor like a discarded parcel.
She scrambled to sit up, but Taegyeom swiftly positioned himself between her legs. Before she could utter a word of protest, the hem of her dress was flipped up, and her underwear was flung over the back of the sofa.
“Taegyeom! Wait! Are you crazy? Not here…! What if someone hears from downstairs…!”
Though it was unlikely anyone would come up to the second floor now that Taegyeom was home, the space was still connected, and there was no guarantee that the sounds wouldn’t carry downstairs.
“You just have to stay quiet, Leeseo.”
Taegyeom murmured soothingly as he shrugged off his suit jacket and buried his face between her legs.
‘Oh my god, he’s lost it…’
Leeseo bit her lip to stifle a moan, grabbing onto Taegyeom’s hair. He firmly held her thighs apart and ran his tongue along her shyly closed folds, meeting her gaze as he did so.
“Did you want to fight with me?”
“N-no, that’s not what I meant at all…!”
“You can hate me as much as you want today.”
The chilling words sent shivers down her spine. His roughened breath against her sensitive skin was driving her insane.
“If you don’t like it, you can just kill me.”
With that, he deliberately licked his lips before plunging his tongue deep into her narrow entrance. A suppressed moan escaped as Leeseo’s back arched involuntarily.
‘What have I done…?’
A wave of terror swept over her, as if she had awakened a dormant beast. As she helplessly writhed under the relentless pleasure, her body eventually surrendered, collapsing limply.
Taegyeom, satisfied with the sight of her lying breathless and vulnerable, unbuckled his belt. He pulled out his er*ction, which was frighteningly hard, and aligned the glistening tip with her drenched entrance.
Thanks to the prec*m dripping down his shaft, there was no need for any preparatory stroking. Taegyeom positioned himself for penetration and whispered softly.
“We haven’t even started yet, and you’re already spent? Leeseo.”
“…”
“Focus. Relax down there.”
With that, he thrust himself fully inside her in one motion. The thick shaft stretched her wet walls tightly as it filled her, slamming into her sensitive depths. The overwhelming sensation sent her spiraling into an intense climax.
But Taegyeom didn’t give her a moment to breathe. He moved his hips with force and speed, rough and unrelenting. Though his calm eyes appeared serene, they were swirling with an insatiable hunger.
Pinned beneath Taegyeom, Leeseo began to feel as precarious, unstable, and shaken as they had been in those fiery, passionate days.
