The moment I stepped into the ceremony hall, filled with nerves and excitement, I locked eyes with a woman in the guest seats wearing a white dress. It seemed I was the only one taken aback to see her dressed in an outfit that looked exactly like my wedding attire, as if it had been coordinated in advance.
“She’s always been mischievous, so I guess she’s playing a prank. This isn’t enough to ruin the ceremony. I’ll scold her later, so please don’t take it too seriously.”
My husband continued,
“Uriel and the people from the Count’s family are like family to me. I hope you’ll become close with them as well.”
The place I entered after that humiliating wedding wasn’t a home—it was a prison.
“Today, His Majesty said he would send you to a convent. All the royals of the former dynasty are dead, and yet His Majesty lets you live. Such excessive mercy.”
In the end, after losing everything, the woman who was carrying my husband’s child came to see me and spoke.
I lost my child, my family, and even my face was ruined.
The moment I turned my back on the world and jumped, I cursed them bitterly and made a vow.
If there is such a thing as a next life, I would drag them all down to h*ll.
And then… that wish came true.

“Heila, why are you with him?”
My husband asked with bloodshot eyes.
His gaze toward me was filled with suspicion, anger, and reproach.
And yet, he couldn’t bring himself to be angry with the one standing by my side.
Before I could answer his question, the man beside me grabbed my wrist and pulled me away.
Just as I was about to be dragged off, a large, strong hand pried my husband’s grip from my wrist.
In front of my eyes was an impossibly handsome face, and below it, a dress coat strikingly similar to my own.
He held out one hand to me in front of everyone and asked,
“Does what I said before still stand? That I belong to you.”
