My Former Lover Didn't Die And Came Back - Chapter 11
“Ugh…!”
He held her slender waist in his hands. The sight of his dark red p*nis moving between her pale, round a$s was intensely provocative. As he thrust forcefully and withdrew slowly, the red inner flesh seemed to hold onto him as though telling him not to leave. When a translucent droplet of fl*id fell between her spread l*bia, Cedric could no longer resist.
“…Sh*t.”
“Ah, too, too much…!”
Blair pleaded. Her posture collapsed as if she had no strength left, and her head hit the headboard. However, just like he did two nights ago, he pretended not to hear anything.
Cedric spoke after a while of thrusting his hips. Blair struggled to focus amidst her pl*asure-soaked daze.
The words that occasionally reached her ears were questions about how she compared him to her husband. It seemed that he was very pleased with her body’s w*t response.
Blair couldn’t muster a coherent response as she trembled in pl*asure. Nonetheless, he tightened his grip on her thigh with a satisfied smile.
Struggling to hold onto fading consciousness, Blair thought of her husband.
They were a couple who had never properly shared a marital bed. Blair always felt sorry for her husband. She often looked at him with an expression filled with apologies. Strangely, sometimes her husband would look at her with the same expression. She couldn’t remember why.
Among the memories of their first year of marriage, there were moments like this where reasons were inexplicably forgotten.
The back-and-forth motion resumed. Whenever his thick body moved, his massive back muscles rippled.
Blair closed her eyes. She understood Cedric’s hatred. It was natural.
There were nights when she prayed that he would just come back alive. But it wasn’t like this. Why hadn’t she imagined he would return with such malice?
‘But… even if I tell the truth…’
After all, wasn’t she part of the perpetrators’ family? Even if she revealed that her parents orchestrated everything, his reaction would likely remain unchanged.
From the start, her parents and Cedric were people who wouldn’t have been involved with each other if not for her. Blair’s guilt stemmed from this fact.
Yet, at the same time, there was a sense of injustice in her heart.
Once she had spoken the words ‘I did everything,’ she also knew that she would have to forget the truth that she knew nothing. But being human, a sense of injustice kept bubbling up within her heart. And that sense of injustice grew larger each time he took her like this.
Blair found that version of herself amusing.
She wished she could truly forget the truth of being deceived by her parents.
If her feelings towards him were solely filled with guilt, could she not accept him now without any complaints? Could she live a happier life if she could selectively erase only the memories she wanted? Those whimsical thoughts crossed her mind.

Sunlight poured in above her eyelids. When Blair woke up the next day, there was no one in the bedroom. It seemed to signify that there was no one in the mansion either.
Her entire body was covered in a dried white substance, and the sheet wrapped around her body felt sticky.
She gazed blankly into the void for a moment. Even if she pulled the golden cord now, no one would come to find her.
The faint sound of birds outside the window was a small comfort. Still, what could be more alive than making a sound.
Suddenly, she realized that she must get used to such mornings now.

Before noon, Blair approached the soldier with red hair at the front gate and handed him a carefully written letter. When he looked surprised, she spoke up.
“…It’s a letter for my mother. I just want to let her know I’m safe.”
“……”
The soldier with red hair, Theo, looked perplexed and licked his lips, to which Blair hurriedly added,
“I’m worried my mother might run into unexpected trouble. Can’t I send this kind of letter?”
“……”
Theo glanced between the faint marks left on Blair’s cheek and the letter. After a moment of contemplation, Theo responded,
“…I’m sorry.”
With a nod, Theo folded himself in a bow, excused himself, and turned to return to his post.
“Theo!”
Blair called out his name, and the big man slowly turned around. His expression seemed complicated.
“How did you… know my name?”
“I heard Cedric calling you.”
Blair continued speaking.
“This letter is for my birth mother. My parents are not in good health. If I can’t send money to them regularly, their life will become difficult.”
“……”
Theo’s handsome eyebrows and lips slightly distorted upon hearing Blair’s story, Blair waited quietly, then earnestly clasped her hands together and said,
“Can’t you help me, Theo…?”
“……”
The letter contained a request to wait until she contacted them. Blair’s mother, worried about not hearing from her and possibly coming to the mansion unexpectedly, could run into trouble if she encountered Cedric. Blair gathered all the cash in the mansion and placed it in the letter. There were also the bills Cedric had thrown at her.
“…… Don’t tell the commander.”
Theo, exhaling heavily, accepted the letter.
“…Of course!”
Blair replied brightly. She called Theo back as he turned to leave and said, ‘Thank you very much.’ He smiled faintly. It was a smile that didn’t quite seem like a smile.
After a while, Blair put the heavily soiled bed sheet into the laundry basket and stepped on it. Moving her legs and stepping on the white fabric seemed to improve her mood.
Cedric often visited late at night. It was just a brief visit when everyone was asleep, so there wouldn’t be much gossip.
‘Is he deliberately coming late to consider my reputation as a married woman?’
But soon Blair shook her head. That couldn’t be true.
‘He wouldn’t care about a woman’s reputation; someone he despises to the point of wanting to kill her.’
It must be because he wanted to easily satisfy his desires and then leave. He would be busy during the day for work.
Blair exerted force on her feet while stepping on the laundry.
Each time she had such thoughts, she felt like she would die of misery. But she couldn’t die.
‘I have to endure somehow. Until Cedric is disgusted with me…’
She vowed with her lips tightly pressed.
And so, another day passed at the mansion.

The Imperial Palace of Eleanor consisted of a wing-shaped corridor on the left and right around the main building, a large garden, and a canal. This place, established in the Middle Ages, underwent extensive Baroque-style expansions during the royal era and was now managed by occasional maintenance of essential areas.
The pride of this palace was the large circular canal extending radially from the center, surrounded by gardens. It was itself a symbol of Eleanor’s sun, the emblem of imperial power.
In the lush garden, two tall figures stood out. A young crown prince was walking in the garden with the empire’s general. Servants followed behind them.
The general, who led the recent war to victory, appeared to be of a similar age to the crown prince. He was none other than Cedric Fitzgerald.
With dark hair and golden eyes, Cedric was a hero rumored to have carried out daring feats during the war under the Fitzgerald banner. By repeatedly cutting down enemy leaders, he earned his own accolades and solidified his position by being incorporated into the imperial family’s relative lineage.
“Is your father well?”
The crown prince asked Cedric.
The crown prince, who came from a branch family, had shown his strength by leading troops into battle and achieving victory, changing the cold gazes of the people due to his humble origins.
“Father… says the same thing every day.”
As an orphan, Cedric referred to his stepfather Fitzgerald as his father.
“Marriage?”
“Yes.”
“Do you have a lady in mind?”
“No.”
Cedric’s stepfather, a former soldier, lay injured and ill from war wounds, prompting him to repeatedly urge Cedric to marry and produce an heir whenever he saw him. Jokes about him dying alone without passing on the vast estate he inherited after the war were added bonuses.
Just thinking about it gave him a headache.
The young crown prince and Cedric became friends on the battlefield. He was initially unaware of his identity. It was the newly introduced firearm that revealed the crown prince’s identity with each shot, blasting gunpowder and black smoke into the air.
“Ah…”
At the end of their conversation in the garden, a brightly dressed lady stood holding a parasol. Her long brown hair fluttered in the wind. When Cedric’s eyes met hers, the lady, Elena, smiled brightly like the dahlias that filled the garden.
“Please call me Elena, Sir.”
A strong scent of lilac emanated from her.
“…I am Cedric Fitzgerald.”
The man greeted brusquely. Cedric turned to look at the crown prince. A smile played on his face, satisfied with guiding Cedric to Elena.
‘Hooh…’
A light sigh escaped Cedric’s lips.
‘…So that’s why I was summoned to the palace today.’
It was clearly a collaboration between his stepfather James and the crown prince. Standing before him, Elena was beautiful, but not his type. Yet, he couldn’t completely ignore their efforts.
Adopting Cedric was nothing short of a deal between the two. Through him, Cedric gained the support needed to command soldiers on the battlefield, and his adoptive father would have something in return.
As the crown prince made his way, Cedric continued to walk with Elena in the garden for a few more rounds. Elena’s violet parasol swayed lightly in the gentle breeze.

Red water was collected at the base of the sequoia tree by the roadside. It had been a month since Blair and Cedric reunited. The wind brushed against their noses crisply.
Cedric sought out Blair every night. He would arrive deep into the night when everyone was asleep, and typically Blair would be in bed, ready for him at that hour.
After a few visits, Cedric learned the time when Blair fell asleep and started coming at that time, choosing the moment right after she had finished her bath to lie down. If she happened to be lightly asleep, he would gently caress her chest to wake her.
When a man came to a woman at that time, there was only one thing to do. Cedric would undress as soon as he entered the bedroom, exchange kisses, and remove Blair’s nightclothes. The rest followed in order.
