The owner of a grand and glamorous theater, a man who could make anyone fall in love.
The moment the audience laid eyes on the golden-haired handsome man who appeared in the theater, a famous name came to mind.
Edgar Wharton.
However, even if he caused countless young ladies to lose sleep over their unrequited love,
Natalie’s crush was not the debauched rogue of high society but a neat and proper gentleman.
Yet, her secret unrequited love, which she had never revealed to anyone, was discovered.
By that man with the charming smile that stole the hearts of young ladies—Edgar Wharton.
“I’ll help you.”
The one thing that tied together the debauched rogue of high society and the bookworm of a baron’s family was a single goal:
To help each other with their love.
“Natalie, will you be my lover? Leonard will fall in love with you, and then we’ll break up.”
Thus began the play titled “Contractual Romance.”
The task was simple: to act as if in love without falling for the other’s performance.

“I’m not very good at deceiving others.”
“Then try loving me.”
The smile of the commanding man was so beautiful that it seemed no one could resist it.
Even as he invited her to cross the line, he remained in his place. He commanded love but did not love.
So Natalie steeled herself.
She resolved not to love him, not to fall for him.
But…
“Are you trying to ruin my life?”
“May I ruin it?”
Mr. Wharton gazed at Natalie’s lips with a mischievous smile.
“How far will you allow me to go?”
At the end of the play, could they really avoid falling in love?
