Chapter 6 – Changes in Relationship (Part 5)
“Hah. It’s not the kind of relationship you think.”
At her question, Killian sighed lightly and lowered his head. His black hair brushed against Sophia’s skin, making her shiver.
Why is he denying it?
The more they talked, the deeper she felt she was sinking into a mire. There had been rumors of a long unrequited love, but Killian’s denial seemed so strange.
“Weren’t you fond of Lady Aeri?”
“To think you believed that. Were you perhaps jealous…”
He avoided answering and said something unexpected.
Jealousy, my foot!
“No!”
Fearing he might misunderstand, Sophia refuted him before he could finish speaking.
“They say strong denial is affirmation…”
“I said no!”
Even though she denied it, Killian seemed amused.
“Is that so? That’s a shame. I wanted to see you jealous…”
“…”
Sophia looked at Killian with disapproval as he spoke teasingly. He chuckled and pulled her into a tight embrace. As his warm body touched her back, Sophia shivered involuntarily.
“Everything related to Lady Aeri is nonsense. I’ve never liked her, not even once.”
His soft voice whispered again in her ear.
Never liked her, not even once…
It was such an unexpected statement that Sophia couldn’t fully believe Killian’s words.
If he never liked her, then why were there such rumors?
“Then why did such rumors start?”
“She’s a woman who likes to exaggerate everything. There’s no need to believe her words.”
Sophia recalled her conversation with Lady Aeri. It hadn’t been lengthy, but she hadn’t noticed any particularly exaggerated behavior. It was just that Lady Aeri’s claim that Killian was her man had been bothersome.
Wait a minute, then what about what he said before?
Suddenly, Sophia remembered Killian mentioning that he had liked someone for a long time. She had assumed it was Lady Aeri, but now it seemed it wasn’t….
Could it be true? Then who was the lady he liked?
Curious as she was, Sophia dismissed her curiosity when she heard what Killian said next.
“The person by my side now is you. You’re my wife, so why worry about ridiculous rumors from the past?”
Though she knew it wasn’t a confession, Sophia’s heart began to race at his words, which felt like one.
Killian wasn’t wrong. Whatever his relationship with Lady Aeri had been, she was just someone from his past. The woman by his side now was her, Sophia.
As long as she was his wife, he would never betray her. She decided to focus on that fact alone. So, before anything else, Sophia wanted to hear his resolve once more through his own words.
“As long as I’m your wife, you have no intention of leaving me?”
“Yes. I will never leave you first.”
Though his response was more about responsibility and duty than love, it was enough to reassure Sophia.
At the same time, she began to understand why Annette, who disliked the Loden family so much, had harbored feelings for Killian, even if briefly.
It wasn’t because they were intimate once that her feelings changed suddenly. As Liam had said, she realized Killian was a better man than she thought.
Sophia turned to Killian and reached for him. His cheek was cold but soft. As she gently caressed both his cheeks, she wrapped her hands around his face and kissed him lightly.
“I’ll believe your words.”
Killian’s eyes widened in surprise. His eyes, which had been questioning, now gleamed, but she could tell his gaze was gentler than before.
“How long will you keep me waiting? I don’t think I can hold back.”
With a dangerous smile, Killian leaned in and pressed his lips to Sophia’s. It was a soft and sweet kiss that lifted her spirits.
Feeling as if he was choosing her over Lady Aeri, Sophia’s lips curled into a smile.
* * *
What did I just say?
Sinking into a bathtub filled with rose petals, Sophia let out a deep sigh.
‘May I embrace you now?’
After sharing a deep kiss, Killian wanted to go further. Sophia should have firmly said no, but she couldn’t.
‘I-I’ll wash up first.’
Even though she had already bathed, Sophia gave a nonsensical answer. She must have been dazed from the kiss, leading her to respond like that.
As a result, the maids, following Killian’s orders, brought Sophia to the bathroom to help her bathe.
Sigh.
A heavy sigh escaped her lips.
Despite boldly declaring she would seduce Killian, Sophia now regretted even having such thoughts.
Previously, she had been under the influence of a drug, so being physically intimate was okay. But now, the thought of making love with a clear mind was overwhelming.
Having already spoken, she couldn’t take back her words…
Her tense body refused to relax, and she found herself fiddling with the innocent petals. She wished she could just bathe until morning, but the second bath ended sooner than expected.
Sophia caught hold of the maid who was about to tidy up.
“I feel like I haven’t washed enough.”
“You should be fine now. Sir Loden is waiting, so we shouldn’t delay any longer.”
“That’s true…”
Suddenly, her heart began to pound wildly. At this rate, it felt like her heart might stop before she even reached the bedroom.
Could I postpone it with some excuse until tomorrow?
No. I’ve already spoken…
She tried to calm her mind, but it wasn’t easy. Still, Sophia resolved to muster the courage.
Once she was ready, she changed into a sheer silk dress and took heavy steps forward.
When she arrived at the bedroom, she saw Killian sitting on the sofa, waiting for her. He was holding a glass of wine, suggesting he had been enjoying a drink while waiting.
With a relaxed demeanor, he lifted the empty glass placed opposite him.
“Would you like a drink?”
Killian, noticing her nervousness, offered her some wine.
“I-I’m fine.”
Though borrowing the strength of alcohol wasn’t a bad idea, she declined. She planned to continue being intimate with him in the future. Since she couldn’t rely on alcohol every time, she thought it best not to drink from the start.
“T-Today, I’ll take the lead.”
Having made up her mind, Sophia gathered more courage. Since it would be embarrassing anyway, she thought it better to take the initiative.
“Please do.”
Killian accepted her suggestion readily.
Sophia took Killian’s arm and led him to the bed. Once he lay down, she climbed on top of him. Just being above Killian created a tense atmosphere in the room.
Should I not have said I’d take the lead?
As the air grew heavy, Sophia regretted her earlier words, but when she looked down at Killian, her thoughts changed. She suddenly wanted to see a different side of him.
Is it okay to hurt him a little?
After a moment of hesitation, Sophia lowered her face and bit Killian’s earlobe. She bit hard, but he showed no reaction.
This time, she slipped her tongue into his ear. As her hot breath stimulated his ear, it suddenly turned bright red.
“Stop, stop it!”
The man who hadn’t reacted earlier suddenly turned his gaze sideways, blushing in embarrassment.
Huh? That’s a fresh reaction. Could his ears be an *rogenous zone?
Sophia, surprised by Killian’s unfamiliar expression, stared at him blankly for a moment. Then, a mischievous smile crept onto her lips.
Thinking that Lady Aeri would never have seen this face made her inexplicably happy. She had thought he was a bit intimidating before, but not now. Finding him cute, she wanted to tease him a bit more.
“Just a little more.”
Sophia once again pushed her tongue into Killian’s ear and licked. Killian’s body flinched, and his ears turned even redder.
Should I stop teasing him now?
Fearing his ears might burst if she continued, Sophia let her lips travel down his neck, sucking on his shoulder once before moving to his lips.
Sophia sucked on his lower lip briefly before sliding her tongue into the space between. She slowly and cautiously licked the inside of his mouth, intertwining her tongue with his.
It was her first time initiating such an act, so she was clumsy, but Killian followed her lead without complaint. The only sound in the quiet room was the wet noise of their mingling saliva.
With their lips still locked, Sophia grasped Killian’s shirt and began to unbutton it. As she did, the well-defined muscles hidden beneath came into view.
She placed her hand on his broad, firm chest and awkwardly traced downwards, gradually pulling his pants down. His p*nis, already standing *rect with fierce intensity, seemed ready to touch his navel.
Sophia cautiously grasped the hardened organ. Contrary to its appearance, it was soft, which surprised her, though it felt unfamiliar.
“Ugh!”
As she lightly stroked it up and down, a small moan escaped Killian’s lips.
Seeing his new expression, Sophia realized just how bold she was being. Yet, she had no intention of stopping.
Instead, feeling more confident, she began to rub the p*nis up and down. The twitching sensation was peculiar, but she was more curious about Killian’s reaction.
Killian’s face started to contort slightly, and clear pr*cum oozed from the tip of his gl*ns.
Sophia’s own body felt like it was heating up in response.
Her hand became sticky with the fluid, but she continued her motions. The more vigorously she moved, the more Killian’s breathing, heightened by excitement, grew ragged. Watching his muscles twitch brought her a strange sense of exhilaration, making it impossible for her to stop.
