Runaway Secretary - SIDE STORY (PART 3)
SIDE STORY (PART 3)
These days, Taeheon spends more time with Eunho than Yeonseo. Although Taeheon’s verbal descriptions of Eunho were insufficient, they were still precious.
“Anyway, Baek Hyeonho sent pictures of Eunho.”
“Really? He didn’t send any to me. Did he only send them to you, Taeheon?”
“Probably because he knows you’re busy.”
“Yeah.”
Yeonseo opened Taeheon’s phone, unlocked the complex pattern, and looked for pictures of Eunho.
“Oh, he’s so cute. Look at how he’s snuggled up to Hyeonho.”
Hyeonho. Eunho. Given the similarity of their names, Eunho got along quite well with his uncle. He was also very close to his Aunt Jiyeong, as well as Jiyeong’s older sister Jihye and her husband. Eunho had close relationships with everyone.
Today, Eunho joined the camping trip of Hyeonho, Jiyeong, and the other married couple. Jihye’s children were Eunho’s age, and sometimes Jihye’s children would come over to Yeonseo’s house, and they would interact with each other.
As Yeonseo flipped through Eunho’s pictures, her face lit up.
How did he become this adorable? How did he grow so much? Now, if only he could grow a bit slower.
Thinking about the child who would eventually spread his wings and fly away made her feel melancholic. She often vowed to make the most of the time they had together.
“It’s just the two of us. Should we have dinner outside?”
“Why don’t we just stay home and drink the wine I got you?”
“Yeah, let’s do that.”
After Taeheon responded monotonously, he asked while gripping the steering wheel.
“Is there something wrong?”
“What?”
“Your expression is not as good as this morning. Your forehead has narrowed by about 1 millimeter.”
“Is that a joke?”
Taeheon looked away from the front for a moment and looked at Yeonseo. She put down her phone and faced him.
Despite finding his increasing playfulness endearing, she wished he hadn’t made a joke at a time like this. It made her feel even more guilty that she couldn’t be honest with him.
Yeonseo murmured.
“It’s not funny at all.”
“Something’s bothering you, right?”
“It’s not that.”
Yeonseo tried to wrap her tired heart with a bright smile. It was true that the pressure was increasing day by day, but she couldn’t show any signs of weakness now.
She had started this job wanting to be of some help to Taeheon. As they lived together, her desire to become someone who suited him grew stronger.
If not for that, she would have dedicated all her time to raising Eunho and finding small hobbies.
It was somewhat expected that she couldn’t live the same routine as before with her being part of Sewon Group.
“If that’s how you’re going to fool me, you’ll have to lie more brazenly.”
Smoothly steering the wheel, Taeheon pointed out Yeonseo’s weak acting skills.
While a person’s worth is not determined by their occupation or social status, Yeonseo still didn’t want to be a flaw in Taeheon’s life. Having obtained a rare opportunity to establish herself within Sew on Group, she wanted to make the most of it.
After being a team leader, the next step was becoming a center director, followed by the director of the welfare foundation. That was the promotion hierarchy Taeheon would push for. Before meeting Taeheon, it might have been an impossible dream, so Yeonseo tried her best.
She wanted to work her way up, step by step. That way, she could fully integrate into Taeheon’s life.
She also wanted to be a better mother to Eunho. It was just the beginning, and she couldn’t complain or make excuses.
“Really, I’m just a little tired, I’ve been working late the last few days.”
“If you say so, it must be true. But I can’t wait forever.”
There was a hint of bitterness in Taeheon’s tone as he resumed driving straight ahead, but she didn’t have the energy to explain further.
The car rolled on in silence. Taeheon remained silent, and while he had done well to say what needed to be said, Yeonseo found solace in unnecessary grumbling. She wasn’t one to engage in serious conversations.
It was clear that the mood had turned sour. Unable to offer any explanation, Yeonseo remained silent since she couldn’t provide the answer he wanted. After Yeonseo closed her mouth, the silence persisted.
As the entrance to the villa became visible, it quickly turned into the garage. Even in this situation, the parts where their hands were tightly clasped were moist and warm. When Yeonseo tried to pull her hand away, the man who had parked the car stopped her with a gentle squeeze.
“I waited inconspicuously like you said, and I haven’t been anywhere near the center.”
“That’s why I’m sorry.”
“If you say it’s nothing with a serious expression, should I not worry and just let it go?”
Yeonseo, who couldn’t manage her expression well in front of Taeheon, sighed softly.
Taeheon’s eyes, deep as a river at night, turned to her. The faint light emanating from the garage made the enclosed space even more stifling.
“Kiss me.”
Taeheon was always someone who could make Yeonseo lose her composure at any moment. Perhaps he didn’t even realize that he was being considerate of her too much.
“I’ll wait, but don’t make me wait too long.”
Yeonseo’s eyes rippled like waves on the surface of water.
“Here?”
“Doesn’t matter where, and it’s home anyway.”
“Since it’s our home, let’s move a bit more and go inside.”
The hand that was carefully being withdrawn was caught, and it moved towards his lips. Taeheon passed over Yeonseo’s knuckles and lightly nibbled on her wrist.
The bone of her wrist rubbed painlessly against his teeth, the erotic pleasure outweighing the pain.
It was evidence that he had tamed her.
“Mmmm…….”
Yeonseo involuntarily moaned.
“You seem even more delicate these days.”
“Oh, Taeheon.”
He dipped his lips deeply into the inside of her wrist, staring intently at Yeonseo. It was only a moment before Taeheon’s hand touched the passenger seat headrest.
As his presence became extremely close, Yeonseo breathed as if her breath was caught, and the heat passed through the inside of her wrist, rapidly pooling at her lower back and abdomen.
Taeheon’s lips stopped right in front of hers, teasingly close. It was a signal that he intended to kiss her.
However, Yeonseo, with closed eyes, slightly evaded him. Her chin was grabbed again, and his gaze was fixed directly in front of her.
“I can’t take this anymore.”
“Not here, no.”
“What do you think I’ll do? I’ll just kiss you.”
Taeheon whispered then his hand found its way to Yeonseo’s waist. His bold and improper touch was daring.
“I want to do more, but you’re not giving permission.”
About a month ago, Yeonseo recalled an incident that happened in the car. Although they easily ignited each other, they always found themselves in enclosed spaces like homes or hotels.
Except for a few times during the early days of their relationship when they hastily found solace in the car, it had been several years since they engaged in any intimate acts in a vehicle. The next day, they had to replace the car seat. When Yeonseo felt embarrassed and didn’t know what to do, Taeheon insisted on scrapping the car altogether, making her cry and dissuading him from doing so.
She couldn’t go through that again, so she tried hard to push his urges away.
“Not here… Uh.”
Softly brushing against the mound of soft flesh, Taeheon gently stole her lower lip.
“Loosen your grip.”
“You said it would only be a kiss, Taeheon.”
When she firmly expressed her opinion, his handsome eyebrows twitched.
“Just a kiss.”
“Woo Taeheon.”
“You know calling me that turns me on even more. Open your lips.”
Taeheon answered dryly and half-unbuttoned Yeonseo’s blouse, gliding his hand under it. She didn’t have a chance to pull away as Taeheon moved his hand to kiss her.
A short breath erupted from her chest, Yeonseo embraced him, eagerly overlapping their lips. The voluminous sensation filling her narrow mouth heightened Yeonseo’s desire in an instant.
They kissed until his handprints were red on her white skin. Only when she was on the verge of crying out of pleasure did Taeheon pull back.
As a long string trailed between their lips, his eyes sank deeper. It was a warning sign. Breathing heavily, Yeonseo tapped on his chest.
“Up… now, go up.”
“We’ll do it inside. Don’t think about leaving.”
With a sharp gaze, Taeheon stared at her, buttoning up her blouse for her. Yeonseo nodded awkwardly.
If they were going to engage in intimacy, the house was better than the car. Considering Eunho sometimes woke up in the early morning, it had been a long time since they engaged in such activities freely at home.
Since Yeonseo’s body was already heated, she tightly held his hand and walked a bit faster, matching Taeheon’s strides. After pressing the button in the garage elevator, they entered the living room after a short while.
The spacious living room, attracting attention with a large trampoline and an electric car, had been colorful for a long time, adapting to Eunho’s developmental stage. Yeonseo often laughed at how the tidy, white-decorated house gradually became colored with Eunho’s touches.
If she opened the front window and went into the garden, there was a camping ground on one side, and a pool designated for Eunho on the other.
The living room, which was dominated by a large trampoline and an electric car, had long since been colorfully transformed to match the child’s development. The bigger Eunho got, the more Yeonseo thought they did well in designing the living room widely according to the child’s growth.
The neatly wallpapered white house gradually became filled with Eunho’s colors, and it made her smile every time. Opening the front window and going out into the garden, there was a camping ground on one side, complete with a kiddie pool.
Now, she couldn’t imagine a home without Eunho’s traces. While thinking that it was a natural desire to miss him, a call came in. It was the center director.
Yeonseo held her phone and smiled meaningfully at Taeheon, indicating to him to wait for a moment. Taeheon disappeared into the kitchen while she pressed the call button on the other end.
“Hello.”
With a slightly tense voice, Yeonseo answered the center director’s call.
– Oh, it’s you.
A hearty voice came through. In the best of all possible worlds, the unexpected call was cut short.
In summary, it was a notice to come in one hour early tomorrow. However, as no reason was given, she had to rack her brain to guess the reason.
This kind of thing could have been conveyed by a message. It seemed like a tormenting call until after work.
“Whew…”
Feeling a slight dizziness, Yeonseo leaned against the wall.
“What was the call about?”
Taeheon returned, holding a bottle of water in one hand. He unscrewed the cap and held the water out to Yeonseo.
His piercing gaze waited for an answer. She reached out and took the water he always gave her.
