Upon observation, I noticed that his arms and legs appeared to be well developed.
The ‘physical defect’ is arbitrary, so I don’t know which part is the problem.
Considering the fact that he doesn’t speak, maybe he doesn’t have a voice?
Or maybe he’s missing a toe….
Does he not have any internal organs?
“Ugh.”
Why did I set it up like that!
I’d rather have a Mongolian spot still on my b*ttocks than go through this.
It’s better than having a huge scar on your face or worrying that you’re blind, but either way, it certainly wasn’t good for him.
I couldn’t open my mouth because he didn’t speak first.
The other party was the victim and the landlord. What’s if he got angry and threw me out…
… would it be a good thing?
“No, I don’t think so.”
Now I’m playing the heroine, so I’m not going to get killed or kicked out.
In any case, there’s nothing good about this.
Persistence is a key to victory!
With this belief, whenever I faced the Tower Lord, I kept my mouth shut.

The bedroom, the dining hall, and the library pretty much covered most of my activities.
After a few days, it became too boring, so I eventually asked Mr. Wood to show me around various places in the Tower.
At first, exploring the spaces I created was fascinating, but as time passed, I began to feel trapped, and I stopped wandering around.
“Aren’t you going to explore more?”
“I apologize for bothering you, Mr. Wood.”
“I find guiding you to be the most enjoyable task. It allows me to escape from mundane duties.”
Mr. Wood spoke with a light tone, trying to make me feel comfortable. It’s been a while since I met a normal person. It’s almost heart touching.
“Anyway, call me anytime by my name. Just say it into the air.”
“Yes, understood. Thanks for your consideration.”
I smiled wryly, but never called Mr. Wood after that.
The end of my simple routine was usually at my room.
After dinner, I spent most of my time in my room, sitting on the bed and staring out of the glass window.
“The sun is setting…”
The sun was disappearing beyond the horizon, casting a scattering of red light.
“Beautiful.”
The view of the vast sea from outside my room felt isolating, giving me a sense of my solitude.
The distant white foamy waves didn’t look romantic but rather desolate.
Turning my gaze away, I stared at the bed. The neatly arranged bedding emphasized that no one else was here but me.
Recently, there was always someone by my side, and now that there was no one, it felt a bit lonely and strangely, it was empty.
“I think I may even miss them, a little…….”
Loneliness. It was overwhelming.
Emotions I had suppressed surged out.
“Sigh.”
At first, I thought I could just go back whenever I wanted, and that determination remained unchanged.
This world was not mine.
“Building deep relationships with someone never suited me in the first place.”
I said it out loud, like I was drawing a line in the sand, but inside I was still uncomfortable.
“Ugh, when did I become so sentimental?”
I chuckled with a hint of self-ridicule, but the melancholy feeling didn’t easily fade away.
Above all, where was the heroine? The time for her to appear had passed, and she was still absent.
Will she ever show up?
If the heroine disappeared because of me, and even if I left, what if she never appeared again? Would the male protagonists never find salvation?
The wheels were scattered, leaving their tracks, and I didn’t know what outcome awaited if things continued like this.
What if, because of me, this world is ruined?
Seth will never be able to rest, Dietrich will live with physical problems for the rest of his life.
What if these people were to die because of their problems?
My spine suddenly tingled.
The people surrounding me were characters, yet they were alive.
It was impossible to pretend not to notice.
Standing on the edge of contradiction, I felt like I had one ankle deep in the ground.
“Why did I create such messed-up characters when I have to suffer like this?”
In the story I wrote, there is no one who can live alone.
At most, it would be the heroine. She didn’t care much about her relationships with the male protagonists.
But the male protagonists each carried their problems and found salvation through the heroine. They couldn’t live without her.
Distorted, incomplete beings.
“Why did I…”
What was I thinking when I wrote this story?
I didn’t go to the library the next day because I felt like I was sinking into an endless abyss.
I laid down in my room all day, while skipping my meals.
Seth would be feeding me with his own hands, and Dietrich would be fidgeting next to me.
When they were around, I was busy planning my escape. But now I felt like I had a lot of time on my hands.
Being alone, I was affected by my mood in a strange way.
Maybe I shouldn’t have told them not to come for ten days.
I regretted it a little.
It was the very next day.
The genius tower lord, who had been ignoring me the whole time, stood in front of me while I was sitting on the sofa.
I looked up as the shadows fell over my book, and a pair of glittering golden eyes stared back at me. The golden color mixed with the hues of the setting sun was mysterious.
His angelic face seemed innocent, but the words that came out between his pink lips were incredibly sharp.
“Why did you create me like this?”
His voice was really cute!
Even his voice is cute, on top of his adorable face.
“Are you listening to me?”
“Uh, yeah?”
“Why did you create me like this?”
…What? Is it because he’s a genius? Ugh, being an orphan and having physical defects… that’s probably it, right?
“Well, there’s, um, a reason. Sorry.”
Let’s start with an apology.
“I… I…”
What should I say? There’s no room for excuses, so I bowed deeply, and from above, I heard an irritated sigh.
“Do you know how much I’ve suffered because of you? Hiding away, unable to talk to people.”
His anger seems to be directed at his physical defect.
“If I, if You just look at it……!”
But what’s the problem?
Guilt and curiosity fought fiercely within me.
“Do you know what’s wrong with me? You do right. After all You created me and made me like this.”
No, I don’t.
Seeing my expression, the tower lord must have heard my mind’s answer, because he sighed heavily.
“Look at it with your own eyes.”
He grabbed his pants.
“Uh, uh, uh?”
The red alert siren blared for the first time in a while.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
“Hey, hey, hey. I need to use the bathroom……!”
I tried to get up quickly, but what was revealed first was his body. My attempt to leave my seat froze my body.
“Gasp….”
Oh, That’s…. That’s a goblin bat.

T/n: For those of you who didn’t get the goblin bat part, someone showed me this image as a reference. It’d be a crime not to use this pic now, wouldn’t it?
