At the age of 15, Alice was sold into slavery.
To protect herself, she adopts the alias “Noel” and disguises herself as a man.
“Noel, Let’s go to the garden together.”
Khalid, the count’s heir, was adorable, almost like a little brother.
But as he grows older, he begins to reveal his obsession toward Alice…
“I told you. If you’re going to pity me, do it properly…”
“…Lord Khalid.”
“You’re mine, Noel. I will never let you go.”
Will Alice be able to escape from his grasp without revealing her true identity?
“Stay by my side. Noel.”

i liked! it was short but made me feel a lot of things the author portrayed the slave system very realistic just as much as inhumane it is! i wish there where side stories talking more about their relationship there are a lot of scars they need to cure specially alice, i would like to thing he officially married her in the end. tysm for the translation ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Stockholm Syndrome BAD power imbalance that reminded me of Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemmings without the age gap. This was just gross to me, TL was fantastic but I just can’t get past the slavery system and what it does to people in the worldbuilding. Everyone other than Alice, Miriam, and Tom are terrible people.
