“Ah, ah, Daniel……. Please……. Now, stop…….”  

“It’s not over yet. I know it’s not over yet, Alice.”

When Alice exploded in anger, Duke Mistry laughed.  

“It’s better that he’s this childish. If the King were even more self-serving and cunning, you would never have been able to marry Daniel.”

After kissing her father on the cheek and leaving the room, Alice found Daniel waiting for her somewhere, looking a bit anxious.

Daniel hurriedly greeted the Duke and led Alice out. Somewhat flustered, the two of them hurried down to the Earl’s carriage.  

As soon as they got into the carriage and closed the door, Daniel covered Alice’s lips with his own.
