Chapter 37
“Then, should we skip placing a large chocolate cake at the center of the wedding ceremony?”
“I didn’t say I didn’t like it. It’s just that… I like it, that’s all.”
Hazel, who had completely dissolved her misunderstandings about Kaiden, lightly hit his chest, careful not to hurt him. Watching this scene, Lily plopped down on the sofa.
“Could you two get out of my room? You’re annoying me.”
Kaiden, ignoring Lily entirely, turned his back and fixed his body toward Hazel.
“If Lily’s been giving you a hard time, let me know.”
“That’s not it! Just leave already!”
Embarrassed, Hazel pushed Kaiden toward the door, but Lily spoke in a mischievous tone.
“Kaiden, you’re so lucky.”
Lily found them irritating, especially since Kaiden had broken one side of the door earlier, and now the two were flaunting their affection in front of her. She wanted to tease them.
“Hazel said she likes you so much she could die.”
“Ah! Y-Your Highness…!”
Hazel jumped up, glaring at Lily, clearly upset about her revealing such a thing. However, Lily found Hazel’s flustered reaction adorable. Watching the two’s embarrassed expressions even seemed to ease her headache a little.
“Shall I continue, or would you like to say it yourself, Lady Hazel?”
After a moment of silence, Hazel clenched her fists as if making a decision.
“Well, the thing is… I said I wanted to marry you, Duke. I mean, you are handsome, has a great physique, is skilled in swordsmanship, and is kind, so it’s tempting… But I told Her Highness to give up….”
As Hazel’s voice trailed off, growing quieter and quieter, she looked like she wanted to disappear into a hole out of sheer embarrassment. Meanwhile, Kaiden’s lips curved into a bright arc, lifting toward the sky.
He had spent countless sleepless nights worrying that she might not like him and only see him as Evan’s friend. But now, hearing that she liked him, wanted to marry him, and even came to the Princess asking her to step aside, his heart swelled with affection and pride.
What should he do with his beloved Hazel?
“Hazel.”
Kaiden fumbled in his pocket, trying to pull out a small ring, but Lily interrupted with a loud, “Wait!” stopping his actions.
She understood that the two were lost in their little world, that the misunderstandings caused by the Veil of Transformation had been cleared, and that they had confirmed their feelings for each other. But watching him propose right in front of her felt a bit too much.
“Do that when you’re alone. I can’t bear to watch it anymore. If you say one more word, I’ll drag you both out, so put that thing away.”
“Fair enough.”
At Lily’s words, Kaiden, who had been about to kneel on one knee, brushed himself off and stood up. Then, with a softer tone, he asked:
“Hazel, is there anything else you want to say to Her Highness?”
After a brief moment of contemplation, Hazel cautiously opened her mouth.
“If you like chocolate cake, could you come to the wedding and celebrate with us, Your Highness?”
“I will.”
Lily nodded.
“I’m sorry for misunderstanding.”
“I’ll gladly accept your apology. Though I can’t say I enjoy being involved with Kaiden.”
Lily waved her hand dismissively, not bothering to hide her annoyance. Hazel felt relieved, as it was clear Lily had no romantic interest in Duke Kaiden.
“Let’s go.”
“Yes, Your Grace.”
The warmth of Kaiden’s hand in hers sent a tingling sensation through her entire body, as if her heart were being gently caressed.
The carriage heading home was warm, but not as warm as their joined lips or their partially exposed upper bodies pressed against each other. The heat between them was nothing compared to their feelings for one another.
Hazel climbed onto Kaiden’s lap, capturing his lips with a loud smack. His lips always carried a refreshing mint scent, and Hazel, who loved the cool sensation, repeatedly licked, opened, and sucked on his lips.
“Hazel, do you think I’m candy?”
“Haa… Your Grace, your lips taste like mint.”
Hazel spoke with a radiant smile, her glistening lips shimmering. The sight made Kaiden feel as if tiny bubbles were bursting in his heart.
Even just looking at her filled his chest with overwhelming emotion. She was the only person in the world who could make him feel this way.
Her large eyes, which took up half of her small face, her adorable nose, and her tiny, bustling figure were all irresistibly endearing. And her lips, always glossy and red, constantly chattering with curiosity, were so plump that he couldn’t help but want to touch them.
“Hazel, you like chocolate flavors, though. What should I do?”
“Now, I like mint the most.”
Kaiden brushed her lips with his thumb. Her soft lips squished under his touch, and her saliva dampened his fingertips. Even though he hadn’t kissed her yet, the sweet scent seemed to spread to his tongue.
The thirst he felt was so strong that licking the saliva off his finger wasn’t enough.
“What do you think my lips taste like?”
“Hngh….”
He opened his lips and sucked on Hazel’s small ones, drawing them in deeply. The saliva on her tender mucous membranes was sucked into his mouth, releasing a sweetness incomparable to what lingered on his fingers.
As he bit down on her lips, which seemed ready to burst like ripe fruit, the scent of juice filled the air. His teeth gently pressed into her lips, and her slender arms shivered slightly.
“Haa… ngh.”
Kaiden chuckled softly at her timid reaction, which contrasted with her earlier boldness. Instead of deepening the kiss, he gently stroked her hair.
“Now I understand why you kept sucking like I was candy.”
“Do I taste good too…?”
“Mm. Sweeter than candy.”
“Really?”
As Hazel mumbled her response, her small lips moved adorably. Kaiden parted his lips and pushed his tongue into her mouth. His tongue explored every corner, as if savoring a piece of candy, leaving no part of her small, warm mouth untouched.
Her neatly aligned teeth felt cute against his tongue, and when he poked them, her round cheeks puffed out adorably.
“Haa… ngh.”
He swept over the soft flesh inside her mouth and thoroughly explored her bumpy palate. Hazel panted for breath, and the wet sounds of their kiss mingled with the rattling of the carriage.
With every jolt of the carriage, their bodies pressed closer together. Her soft chest flattened against his firm one, and the stiff column of flesh between her round hips became all the more evident.
“Hngh! Haa….”
It was intoxicating. Hazel moved her small hips, brushing against him, as if begging him to slide into her narrow entrance.
“Hazel, my patience isn’t as strong as you think.”
“It’s not that…! Hngh, the carriage… ah! It’s moving, that’s all.”
“So now that we’re getting married, you think you can do whatever you want?”
Kaiden grabbed her round hips with his large hands. Her soft flesh spilled between his fingers as he pulled her closer against him.
“Ah, ah! That’s not what I meant… b-but I like it.”
“I like everything about you too, Hazel.”
As she watched his eyes curve sweetly while uttering words sweeter than a kiss, she felt deeply loved.
“Your Grace…”
“Yes, Hazel?”
“I’m the only one you look at like that, right?”
“Yes. Hazel, you’re the only woman I’ve ever seen in my eyes.”
The moment she stared into Kaiden’s unwavering gaze, the carriage jolted over a stone, and Hazel’s hips rose and fell, pressing harder against Kaiden’s firm shaft.
“Haa…!”
Though the movement of the carriage stopped, the warm sensation touching her hips seemed to convey that he only wanted her, as if his entire body was speaking. As she moved her body up and down a few more times, a warm liquid flowed between the thighs that clung to her as if embracing her.
“Hazel, what are you doing?”
“It’s just… ah! It feels so good….”
Her underwear, already soaked from just the kisses, clung tightly to her skin, and with every slight movement of her body, she could feel his manhood clearly. As Hazel slowly moved her hips, Kaiden’s eyebrows trembled slightly, and his clenched jaw tightened.
“…Hazel.”
The sight of him holding back his desire stirred an odd sense of triumph within her.
The Duke, groaning beneath her and furrowing his face while his lower half strained upward, was enough to draw out Hazel’s hidden, licentious thoughts.
She wanted to see more of him unravel because of her.
“Haa! Your Grace.”
Hazel, without breaking eye contact, lifted her hips and pressed his member through her damp underwear. His fully er*ect shaft leaked prec*m, leaving sticky marks on his trousers.
This time, Hazel moved her hips in a circular motion, and the wet fabric of her underwear clung to and then peeled away from his pants, igniting waves of pleasure.
“Haa, haa!”
“Grr… haa….”
Kaiden’s head tilted back, scraping against the narrow wall of the carriage as his large hands gripping her hips tightened.
Unable to hold back any longer, Kaiden firmly grasped Hazel’s hips, lifting her slightly, pressing his shaft against her, and moving it slowly from side to side. His heated er*ction pushed against a small bead, and her l*bia rubbed and bounced aside with the motion.
“Ah, ahh! Your Grace, ah! Aah!”
The sensation of her intimate area being pressed and crushed against his hard member sent shivers crawling up her spine.
“S-slowly… ahh!”
“And now you’re asking me to take it slow.”
