“…Are you mad?”
Her voice was smaller than usual, hesitant.
Eunha deliberately kept her back turned.
“I’m sorry. I… couldn’t control myself…”
Yes, he should apologize. He promised to let her enjoy the pool, but they never even made it there. Instead, they ended up tangled up in bed together until dawn.
On top of that, he left marks all over her body.
“Eunha, whenever I see you, I lose my mind… I was never like this even when we were young… I’m sorry.”
When he tried to lightly stroke her shoulder, she brushed his hand away.
Her eyes were red and sore, and her throat was so raw that she could hardly speak. She knew his stamina was different from most people’s, but yesterday had been truly terrifying. There was a moment when she thought she might actually die in that bed.
Her ears reddened as she remembered him whispering her name in her ear and exploring every inch of her body.
He noticed her reaction immediately and touched the side of her neck. Instinctively, she flinched. He wrapped an arm around her waist and pressed a soft kiss onto her shoulder.
“Are you hot?”
“No.”
Her voice split into two uneven strands and a wave of guilt washed over his face. If he felt guilty, maybe he shouldn’t have overdone it.
Why could he never take it easy?
He always pushed her to her limits, leaving her completely drained.
“I didn’t even get to swim… I was looking forward to it for the first time in forever.”
She grumbled on purpose.
His hand, wandering across her stomach, suddenly froze.
“Should we go now?”
She didn’t even have the strength to go down for breakfast—they’d ordered room service. And now he was talking about swimming?
‘Right now?’
“How am I supposed to go to the pool like this?”
She shot him a glare as if asking whether he couldn’t see the absolute state her body was in. His gaze lowered to the marks scattered everywhere, darkening as he took them in.
Eunha swallowed hard.
Was he… planning to do it again?
If so, he wasn’t human, even animals didn’t behave like that.
“…Didn’t I say it? This suite has a private pool.”
“You did not say that.”
“I must’ve forgotten because things got… intense yesterday.”
When he pointed out that she was the one who lost her mind last night, she had no response. She simply pressed her lips together and stayed silent.
“Should we go now?”
When she nodded, he lifted her into his arms as if he had been waiting for that moment. She trusted he wouldn’t drop her—still, she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck.
Every time he took a step, his breathing seemed to grow heavier, but she ignored it.
“Do I have to wear the swimsuit?”
“No. No one can see you anyway.”
“Then we could’ve swum yesterday. Why did we have to go to the crowded pool?”
She remembered how he had muttered that he didn’t want anyone else seeing her in a swimsuit. And now she learned there was a private pool in their room. The more she thought about it, the more ridiculous it felt.
“Yesterday… the moment I saw you in that swimsuit, I lost it.”
“……”
“How could we swim? There was no time for that.”
He stopped walking and slowly scanned her from head to toe. Then he licked his lips, causing Eunha’s body to react. Her body, which had been trained by him all night, responded instantly to even that small gesture.
“…It’s still not enough. I could do more, but I’m holding back because it would be too hard for you.”
He clearly expected praise for that. She let out a short, incredulous laugh. She could barely walk and had no choice but to be carried here. If they did any more, she might actually end up in the hospital.
“Wow… amazing.”
When they stepped outside, the pool came into sight. Realizing she had almost missed seeing such a beautiful place, she felt a burst of annoyance—and pinched his arm.
“…Is that a signal?”
“What signal?”
Eunha’s eyes flew wide open, ready to jump out of her face.
“You pinched me. Are you trying to seduce me?”
“Seriously!”
The problem was that he wasn’t joking; he meant it. The high walls surrounding the pool blocked the view from outside, so she wasn’t embarrassed to be n*ked. Well, she was embarrassed when he looked at her.
“Let’s swim all we want and then go home.”
“Okay. I feel bad for Minhoo and Minji.”
“There should be days like this.”
The two had readily offered to watch Hyesung. She suspected he had arranged something behind the scenes.
“I miss Hyesung.”
“Me too.”
Still holding her, he stepped into the pool. The water wasn’t hot or cold—just right.
“…Beautiful.”
He said it while looking at her, her body completely submerged in water. Too embarrassed to meet his gaze, Eunha lightly kicked the surface of the water. He didn’t care about the splashing; his gaze never left her. She filled his vision completely and her heart fluttered.
“Put me down. I want to swim.”
He relaxed his arms, letting her feet touch the floor. She swirled the water with her hand.
“You’re not swimming?”
He seemed puzzled that she was just playing in the water instead of swimming. In truth, she hadn’t swum in years. But the real problem was that she was n*ked.
How could she possibly swim like that, especially with him watching?
As if mocking her concerns, he cut confidently through the water, also completely n*ked. He was so shameless that onlookers might have thought he was wearing a swimsuit.
“Kyaa! You scared me!”
He had been across the pool a moment ago, yet suddenly appeared in front of her and lifted her into his arms.
“…How are you this cute?”
He seemed to know exactly why she wasn’t swimming. His gentle smile curved his eyes.
“How can you be this beautiful?”
Her face and neck burned as if they were about to burst. The way he said such embarrassing things so casually was shameless, really.
And yet, that shamelessness was lovable.
When he glanced at her exposed chest and licked his lips, Eunha’s eyes widened. The possessive look in his eyes made everything clear.
“Eunha… I’m going to fill you with all of me. Take it well.”
Of course—he clearly had no intention of actually swimming. She could now see exactly why he had brought her here from the start.
“Your b*tt is cute.”
He said it while squeezing and teasing her without pause. In the end, Eunha had to cling to him and cry into his shoulder all over again.
A moment later—
“I’ll carry you. You’re exhausted, aren’t you?”
“…Don’t talk to me.”
“Come on, get on my back. Now. You’re going to collapse.”
What audacity from the man who caused all this! Eunha made her way through the hotel lobby, her legs trembling with every step. Although he was supporting her with his arm around her, she still shot him glances out of the corner of her eye.
She was living with a beast. Her future flashed before her eyes, making her want to cry, but she couldn’t.
‘If you cry… I get turned on. I don’t know why either… it just happens.’
Those were the words he whispered when she bawled in the pool. Her eyes began to water again, so she blinked quickly.
“…Huh?”
Eunha suddenly stopped in her tracks.
She had run into a familiar face.
“Ah—! I… I… it’s— it’s just a coincidence! I didn’t follow you here!”
It was Kim Donghyeon. The surprise of seeing him here wasn’t nearly as shocking as the way he looked at her—terrified.
Not just scared, he looked like he had spotted the Grim Reaper.
“It’s true! P-please believe me! I really came because I have an appointment!”
No one had even accused him of anything, yet he rambled out excuses and bolted away.
But strangely…he hadn’t been explaining himself to her. It felt like he had been speaking to the man standing beside her.
Eunha slowly turned her head toward Tae-yang.
“What?”
“…Nothing.”
It must have been her imagination.
Why would Kim Donghyeon have anything to do with him?
Watching Donghyeon flee made her think he would never try anything stupid again, and she finally felt relieved.
“…I should’ve gouged his eyes out after all.”
Eunha’s eyes widened.
“What?”
He looked at her again with a bright, innocent smile as if he hadn’t said anything at all.
Maybe she had misheard.
Eunha quickened her pace, eager to get home.
