Epilogue.3
‘I should have a serious talk with him when we get to the villa. That way, there won’t be any problems later.’
With that thought, Hazel quietly glanced up at Enoch, who was sitting in the coachman’s seat.
She had always thought that everything suited him well, ever since they were young, but she never imagined even this look would suit him so perfectly.
Just like in the days when she had a one-sided crush on him, Hazel secretly admired this new side of Enoch with a faint smile.
* * *
As Enoch had said, it wasn’t long before they came upon a village that was a bit too small to be called a city.
“How did you know there was a village here?”
“I’ve been staring at maps for years, so I can figure it out pretty quickly. Once I have a general sense of which direction we’re heading from the capital, it’s easy to deduce. If it were a completely unfamiliar place, it might take a little longer.”
When Hazel looked at him with admiration, Enoch shrugged his shoulders as if it was nothing and spoke with a bit of pride.
The coachman, who had gone to find a farrier, came rushing back in a panic. Catching his breath, he repeatedly bowed his head apologetically and said,
“The horse’s hoof can be replaced right away, but there’s an injury. It would be best to rest for a full day.”
“There’s no helping it, then. We’ll have to spend the night here.”
Enoch said, looking slightly disappointed.
Hazel comforted the flustered coachman, saying,
“It’s not your fault, so don’t worry too much. No one here knows us, so it shouldn’t be too uncomfortable.”
There was no point in dwelling on or rushing over something that had already happened. Hazel quickly composed herself and began searching for a place to stay the night.
After securing a spot to leave the carriage, Hazel found an inn and slumped into a chair with a groan.
“Are you sure we can stay here?”
Enoch’s voice carried a strange tone of reluctance. Hazel glanced around briefly and smiled.
“Why not? The facilities aren’t that bad. It’s about the same as the house I used to live in, isn’t it?”
Even so, Enoch let out a small sigh, seemingly displeased. Although this wasn’t a trip he had planned, the disruption to the schedule seemed to bother him.
As Hazel watched him intently, she reached out her hand.
“Hug me.”
A flicker of light shone in Enoch’s previously subdued eyes. Hazel looked at him directly and added,
“Just so you know, I didn’t mean it in the way you’re thinking. I literally just want a hug.”
“I know.”
“Then, do you not want to?”
When she asked, pouting her lips, Enoch pulled her into his arms without hesitation.
“I never said I didn’t want to.”
“You looked like you didn’t.”
“Can’t you just let it go?”
“Okay.”
Finding his sulky expression amusing, Hazel teased him, and Enoch buried his face into her shoulder.
As he mumbled something incomprehensible, Hazel stroked the back of his head, bursting into laughter.
Her laughter echoed through the room, and Enoch looked up at her with eyes full of discontent.
“Am I funny to you?”
“Aren’t you? I think it’s hilarious.”
Hazel laughed so hard that she wiped away tears forming at the corners of her eyes. Enoch, still looking disgruntled, pressed a firm kiss to her cheek.
“You’re so pretty it’s annoying. I can’t even get mad.”
“You think I’m pretty?”
“Do you even need to ask?”
At his irritated tone, Hazel burst into laughter again. As Enoch’s expression gradually softened, Hazel grabbed his cheeks and answered in a voice full of mirth,
“You’re pretty too. Really pretty.”
“You’re unusually generous with compliments today. Are you hiding something from me?”
“Even when I compliment you, you complain. Should I stop?”
“No, give me more. Keep going, please?”
Shaking his head slightly, Enoch rubbed his cheek against her palm and whispered in a soft voice.
The sight of him stirred something deep within Hazel, and her expression stiffened momentarily.
“Enoch Meyer.”
At her firm tone, Enoch’s face instantly froze.
His expression made it obvious he was racking his brain, wondering what he might have done wrong. Meeting his gaze directly, Hazel said,
“Who told you to be this cute?”
Enoch blinked as if trying to process her words, then burst into laughter.
Hazel was being sincere. He was so adorable that she wouldn’t mind being stuck here for half a day just to admire him.
Though she was slightly concerned about the lack of soundproofing, she figured that if they kept things within reason, it wouldn’t be a problem.
Hazel looked at Enoch with a serious face and suddenly kissed him.
The sound of their lips meeting was soft and brief, but Enoch’s eyes widened. It wasn’t until the fourth kiss that he grabbed her arm.
“What’s this about?”
His eyes burned with desire, as if he were on the verge of being consumed by his own emotions. Hazel met his gaze and said,
“What else? It’s a kiss. Is there a problem with me kissing my husband?”
Husband. The word felt strange, making her chest tingle as if she had swallowed a feather.
As Enoch gazed at her with deepening eyes, Hazel, though flustered, spoke her mind without hesitation.
By the time she began to feel a strange sensation in her lower back, Enoch’s fingers had already slipped into her hair.
Their breaths grew hotter, and Hazel found herself swept up in Enoch’s fervent energy, as though he had been waiting for this moment all along.
The spark that had been smoldering deep inside her flared up in an instant.
As she ran her hands over his chest, which was heaving with excitement, a low growl escaped his lips.
Enoch’s heart pounded so fiercely it felt like it might burst as he focused entirely on the sensation of Hazel beneath him.
She had wanted their first time for this vacation to be at the beautifully decorated villa.
Not that she believed marital relations always had to be beautiful, but she had prepared something special for him.
As soon as they decided on their vacation, she had discreetly inquired about secret shops, personally inspecting and selecting items.
She had considered the possibility that Enoch might already own similar items, but she still wanted to choose them herself.
After all, they were for Enoch, not for her.
But if they spent the night here, their time at the villa would be reduced to four days.
And after accounting for meals, sightseeing, and other necessities, there wouldn’t be much time left.
Although her carefully planned schedule was thrown off on the first day, she didn’t mind as much as she thought she would. After all, the purpose of this trip was to escape the mansion and enjoy some freedom.
“Ah…!”
Enoch pressed his lips to her jawline, then kissed her neck, gently sucking on her soft skin. Hazel’s back arched in response to the tingling sensation.
His hands busily pulled down her simplified dress, designed for comfort, and Hazel shifted to help him.
When he lightly nibbled on her rounded chest, a sharp sensation sent a short m*an escaping from her lips.
He raised his head and met her gaze. The l*st in his eyes sent shivers down her spine.
He slowly rubbed his hardened desire against her stomach, making her acutely aware of his state.
“Are you sure it’s okay?”
Even before their wedding, Enoch had always been cautious in moments like these.
Was it because she had turned him down a few times, citing her busy schedule?
He used to pounce on her like a man possessed, as if he couldn’t live without her. But now, he seemed hesitant, taking a step back instead.
Hazel ran her fingers through his disheveled hair and nodded.
“It’s fine. Just be mindful of the soundproofing, which isn’t great.”
With her permission, Enoch’s hands grew more urgent. His breathing became increasingly ragged, and Hazel patted him gently, reassuring him to take his time.
Enoch looked at her with eyes gleaming intensely.
“How am I supposed to hold back? Hm?”
He spoke as if to show her what was in front of him. Seeing her halfway undressed, he seemed unable to contain himself any longer.
Hazel tilted her head slightly to look at herself. She was somewhat undressed, but it didn’t feel particularly indecent.
Of course, that was just her own opinion.
Even at that moment, his breathing grew dangerously heavy. The weight of his lower body, which had been moving slowly, suddenly pressed down as if to stir her insides.
“Hah… ah!”
Lowering his head, Enoch sucked on Hazel’s earlobe. His warm tongue slid into the small, rounded flesh of her ear, leaving a wet trail.
The cool sensation made Hazel shiver. The sticky sound reverberating in her ears distracted her, and before she realized it, all the garments draped over her body had disappeared.
The small room was filled with a sultry heat. Enoch’s low, heated breaths caused Hazel’s brow to furrow slightly.
It wasn’t their first time doing this in an inn, but her heart pounded so hard that it felt like it might burst.
Her legs, which had been spread wide, instinctively tried to close. But Enoch firmly pried them apart.
What followed was exactly as she had imagined. His veined, swollen manhood slid across her flushed, wet flesh.
Perhaps because it had been a while, the pressure was intense. Her trembling hands clutched at his shoulders, struggling to hold on.
Enoch grabbed her delicate hands, licking and sucking on her palms as he thr*st his hips with a loud smack.
The old bed creaked under their movements, making an unsettling noise. Any louder, and the thin walls would carry the sounds to anyone nearby.
Hazel bit her lips tightly, swallowing her m*ans. The increasingly wet sounds coming from below made her face flush deeply.
“Hah… ahh!”
Her body stiffened as waves of pleasure made her vision spin. The liquid flowing between her legs soaked Enoch’s thighs.
It wasn’t a beautiful location, nor was it a romantic atmosphere, but when had they ever cared about such things?
For Enoch, who had a mischievous streak, and Hazel, who always went along with him despite her protests, the situation suited them perfectly.
It wouldn’t be long before the two of them would face the awkward question, “How was I born?”
