I continued to tremble while held in Calix’s arms.
I couldn’t even hear what he was saying to me.
I was just constantly afraid.
Everything had been resolved. The dragon behaved cooperatively toward us, and I safely became Calix’s partner.
“You’ve heard too much information that humans shouldn’t hear.”
The dragon shook his head regretfully.
“But don’t worry. Thanks to the bloodline you planted, the situation has improved somewhat.”
The dragon snapped his fingers. The lair then writhed and changed into Calix’s familiar room.
“These kinds of conversations need to happen in secret. It would be troublesome if we were discovered.”
The dragon grinned and said to Calix.
“Do you know why they tried to collect Rose’s soul?”
“……”
“Human creativity is scarier than you might think. You know well from what you’ve seen so far. How frightening Rose’s ideas can be.”
Calix’s hand moved toward my stomach. I stared blankly at Calix.
Actually, I had wanted to ask if he was okay since earlier. But I wasn’t confident.
What if something had gone wrong?
“Through your bloodline, ideas from an unfamiliar world will gradually develop. Imagination will become reality, and the world will progress.”
I paused at the dragon’s words. I began to understand what he was trying to say.
“Humans will soon challenge the realm of gods. Then they will increasingly not need the power of absolute beings. The power of this world will grow accordingly.”
The dragon asked me.
“You know best, Rose. Don’t you?”
I tightly gripped Calix’s clothes. The creature was right.
I seemed to understand what he meant. The Calix I had chosen was the emperor of a nation.
A powerful figure with enough influence to change the course of the world.
As long as I was here, the various ideas and knowledge I had experienced couldn’t help but flow into this world.
They say even the tiniest innovation can change the world.
“The humans from Rose’s world are powerful. Right?”
In an instant, various pieces of information flashed through my mind. Space travel, waste, resources, invasion, and… alien planets.
Moreover, people on Earth already knew of this planet’s existence.
“So. If the people of this world fought with the people of Rose’s world, who would win?”
The dragon before me giggled as if he found it extremely amusing. The answer was obvious.
No matter how much magic they had, it didn’t seem like it could defeat science.
If they spread even a single epidemic, the people of this world would be finished. They have no way to prevent it.
“No……”
I shook my head vigorously while in Calix’s arms. The dragon then pointed at my stomach and continued speaking.
“Your child is no longer bound by fate. Because it was conceived with the soul of an otherworlder mixed in.”
Did that mean the child in my womb was safe? I reflexively looked at Calix’s face.
Calix whispered to me in a low voice.
“…The child is safe. Don’t worry unnecessarily.”
“Ah……”
Tears suddenly poured out. It’s okay, it’s fine.
The tension throughout my body released, and my muscles began to ache.
“D*mn stupid gods. I didn’t like them anyway, so this is good. I’m going to play politics too.”
I don’t know what the dragon was thinking. But ultimately, he helped me.
Despite being brutally attacked by Calix and receiving an inescapable curse.
Of course, the curse was merely returning what he had started in the first place.
“That’s what you want, Crown Prince?”
“Not Crown Prince, but Emperor.”
“Same difference.”
Calix sighed heavily in apparent distress and patted my back. The dragon stared at Calix for a long time with questioning eyes.
Soon, he opened his mouth with an inscrutable expression.
“But Emperor. Let me warn you, even though things went well this time, reflect on how you dared to treat me like that. Got it? I was actually quite angry.”
“…If you try anything foolish, I can end your life at any moment. Do you think I wouldn’t have made such preparations?”
“Hmm, well. Even if you have a way, can you kill me when you’re so anxious? What will you do if they come from the underworld to take Rose again? Emperor. You are human. Not some absolute being.”
“We’ll have to wait and see about that.”
Calix answered with gritted teeth, growling. I could only cover my face with both hands and smile.
It wasn’t a situation to laugh in, but it was such a typical response from him that, strangely, I couldn’t help but smile.
“Rose, you’re strange. I didn’t say anything to laugh about.”
I finally freed myself from Calix’s embrace. Then I raised my head straight and looked at the dragon and said.
“What do you want from me?”
Calix’s eyes widened at my question. He looked as if he wanted to ask what kind of question that was.
“……”
The dragon seemed taken aback by my question and just stood quietly staring at me without answering.
“Why did you want me to live a long time? What were you trying to do with me? What did you want to do with me?”
The dragon saved me. He even kindly threw my soul back into my body.
He had no malice toward me. That much was clear.
“Well. Of all the things I’ve seen in my life, you were the most interesting. To me.”
“Aaron.”
“I’m Rahut, Rose.”
I smiled brightly at him and said.
“Thank you for helping me. Rahut.”
“……”
“But that doesn’t erase what you did before. Nevertheless, thank you.”
The dragon, no, Rahut looked at me with a stunned expression for a moment before breaking into a bright smile.
“Rose really is interesting! But Emperor. You’re not fun.”
Calix’s expression quickly crumpled.
“However, your child might be interesting.”
It happened in an instant. A golden magic circle flashed beneath Calix and me, enveloping our entire bodies, and soon a pleasantly warm feeling spread throughout my body.
“This is the first blessing I’ve ever bestowed. Rose.”
I quietly looked at Rahut.
Perhaps that dragon just needed a friend.
The life of an absolute being is incomparably longer than that of humans.
I thought he might have been lonely.
Is that why he wore Aaron’s skin and lived among humans?
“Well, live well. Don’t call me except when you need me.”
Rahut waved his hand and vanished from sight, leaving only Calix and me.
The two of us alone remained in the imperial palace.
Silence flowed between us for a moment.
Calix held my hand tightly and met my eyes with an indescribable expression.
I knew what words he wanted.
So I didn’t hesitate.
“I’m not going anywhere. Where would I go without you?”
“……”
Calix carefully caressed my face. And he swallowed.
“I, I… you, forever, by my side, I…”
He buried his face in my shoulder and embraced me strongly.
I closed my eyes with my cheek against his broad chest.
“I was scared too. Scared that I might never see you again.”
The tip of my nose tingled. Thinking about the situation just now kept making me feel dizzy. I tightly gripped Calix’s clothes. I didn’t want to go back. I couldn’t go back.
“Why… didn’t you return to your original world?”
Calix asked me with a trembling voice. At that, the faces of my family members hazily rose up again.
In truth, their faces were becoming difficult to recall.
“You already know the answer.”
“……”
“It’s okay. My mom and dad will be okay, too. Because I’m alive here. Even though we can’t meet again, I’m living well.”
I could only sob loudly in his arms.
“How could I go back when I’ve already made my own family here?”
Wiping my tears with my sleeve, I looked straight at Calix.
“So, hold me tight so I can’t escape. Hold me and don’t let go so I don’t disappear from your sight.”
“……”
“I don’t want to go back anymore. I don’t want to go, I can’t go.”
At that, our hands clasped together and our lips met. I could feel his rough breathing.
It felt as if his emotions were flowing into my throat.
“I won’t let you go. Even if you ask me to send you back, I can’t. I… without you I… can’t live, how could I send you away?”
I barely opened my swollen eyes and placed his hand on my stomach, speaking as playfully as possible.
“In that sense, how about thinking of a name for the baby?”
Calix shifted his gaze to his own hand, then kissed my tears and said.
“…Arden.”
“What does that mean?”
Calix smiled at my question.
He laid me down on the bed very carefully and whispered in my ear.
“My love.”
Main Story End
T/n: Okay what the hell was happening the last chapters? It resembled some kind of bad trip…lol. (;☉_☉)
Let’s start with the random Nasa thingy, I had to recheck the chapter in case I somehow copy pasted some random false chapter in my to translate folder.
A dragon that somehow seemed cute to me but was hell for others. I hope he returns in the side chapters and plays with their kid cause I think as well that he exists this way simply because he is just a lonesome dude. Poor Draggo. Or the friendship with Rose could lead to some interesting chapters as well…just saying.
Then the part with Jinu and 2 other Saja Boys visiting. Maybe it’s because I translated the last chapters late in the night and my brain was not ready for this whiplash, but I’m still here trying to understand what the hell happened.
Normally, I always give my 2 cents at the end of a story, but this time I can’t. I really have to reread the whole novel cause I started this Novel in 2023 and my cheesy brain doesn’t remember anything that happened. For example, I had a hard time understanding the thing with the absolute ones a 100%.
The only thing I can say is that I really like the character Rose. She is such a breeze of fresh air among the female protagonists. And men who cry are my taste, so Calix was like a ray of sunshine. ~( ˘▾˘~)
A power couple in which both give something and not only the male part always rescuing the Mary Jane, but Rose with her bright head also contributed a lot. Oh, I almost forgot the part with Serena. No goodbye, nothing and I can’t remember what her relationship with the archmage was, so I only felt pity for him. But of course, I could also understand her desire to return home.
After a little break from this whiplash, I’ll be back with the side stories. And please let me know your thoughts about this novel and if you read the manhwa of it let me know how much of this fever dream appeared in the manhwa as well.
Ps. The name of their Child is wholesome <3

This is actually my 2nd time reading this. Thank you so much for translating this story! I hope there are side stories too! I really love Calix and Rose. Thank you so much!
Heyhihello
I agree with translator-nim – Rose is one of my favorite fl since chapter 1 how she coped with the situation how mentally strong she is not some damsel in distress- Calix was funny from the beginning when he was terrorizing Rose and YES his tears are delicious plus the way he BEGS omg I’m becoming weird but yeah I love men who cries 😂 – the child’s name is perfect can’t wait for him to arrive – and Rahut is a poor soul if you think deeply like living for eternity with no companions – to be honest I feel bad for the tower master and how Calix doubled crossed him it seems this will be his reason for turning evil I do understand Serena and I do understand him their relationship is complicated to the max – anyway thank you translator-nim for this story and I’ll be patiently waiting for the side stories- 10/10 story I’ll definitely re read
