This isn’t the novel where I stayed for the smut or for the plot. Maybe for the FL because she’s not the damsel in distress or the lecherous type. She’s cunning, things about herself and tries to plan to escape her situation however unexpected situations all happen to her. I’m not sure what exactly hooked me in- the character development or the plot but nevertheless it was good for a random binge read. I had thought the ml will come back obsessed over her, perhaps that’s the reason I kept reading but turns out he valued her concent before intimacy which was nice. Maybe I was hoping for a strong smxual tension of enemies to lovers from this but sorry folks it’s kinda like a fluff.

If it were me, I would stab the crown prince after having s*x with him, thus ensuring the end of the royal line. 😀
