I love the Characters and the novel.
This story has a really good plot but since it is supposed to be a short story. Um the whole pace is rushed and ending is rushed even more.
But even so, I really liked it. you know Um the characters were such a nice deep characters. They were executed well.
And The relationship between main characters was so good. They had so much chemistry. I wish they had more intimate moments.
This novel seriously needed side stories. I’m gonna miss them.
I would recommend it, If you have free time and you want to spend it reading a short novel.
I would recommend this to you especially, if you like male leads who care about the female leads. like as a human and as an equal Person as a woman. like he respected her wishes. He prioritised her over anyone and anything. He was even ready to let their empire get destroyed if she didn’t agree to his request. he never forced himself or anything on her. He completely changed his behaviour after he regretted mistreating her. And He was one of the best MLs I’ve ever read on Not just on this website but on the K novel world. And this male lead repented, regretted, reflected and even loathed himself. About what he did to the FML. He even had enough shame to not pursue her forcefully and he respected her choices. I think that’s how a ML should be. I really enjoyed it. THANK YOU 4 THE TL ADELINE!

This isn’t the novel where I stayed for the smut or for the plot. Maybe for the FL because she’s not the damsel in distress or the lecherous type. She’s cunning, things about herself and tries to plan to escape her situation however unexpected situations all happen to her. I’m not sure what exactly hooked me in- the character development or the plot but nevertheless it was good for a random binge read. I had thought the ml will come back obsessed over her, perhaps that’s the reason I kept reading but turns out he valued her concent before intimacy which was nice. Maybe I was hoping for a strong smxual tension of enemies to lovers from this but sorry folks it’s kinda like a fluff.

If it were me, I would stab the crown prince after having s*x with him, thus ensuring the end of the royal line. 😀
