I once posted this after a not-so-nice comment under another translator’s work, but since it fits the topic and you seem to be a fan of copy and paste, I’m more than happy to copy and paste it for you as well! 🙂
First and foremost, no reader is obligated to purchase or unlock any chapters. Like many translators here, I juggle multiple novels in my free time. To address the inevitable questions we all face:
-When will there be more chapters?
-When’s the next update?
– Is it dropped?
We prefer to build up a buffer of chapters to post. This strategy allows us to maintain a steady release schedule – for example, having three months’ worth of content ready – while giving us freedom to work on other projects without disappointing readers.
Some readers kindly show their support by unlocking chapters to read ahead, which we appreciate. Honestly, I’m rather envious of projects with numerous chapters available for unlocking – it represents an impressive amount of work and TIME. Meanwhile, I try not to think about my own backlog of over 200 chapters still waiting to be uploaded and the ones waiting to be translated… (¬､¬)
Furthermore: I don’t quite understand your statement regarding disrespect. Are you suggesting that as long as someone puts fewer than 10 chapters behind a paywall, the author would be okay with it? I don’t think the number of available chapters changes anything about the fact that it’s not an official translation. And furthermore, I wonder: Am I the disrespectful one for uploading a fan translation that people can read for free if they wait, or is it someone like you who throws around passive-aggressive comments on fan sites instead of buying the raws on official sites and translating them yourself?
I can only speak for myself, but I buy all chapters with my own money. So I’m supporting the author a little bit. And not only that, sometimes I even buy a story multiple times because I don’t always keep track of which novels I’ve already purchased on which sites. ʅ(°_◞°)ʃ
If this “disrespect” is so repulsive to you, then I sincerely hope you won’t confuse yourself by visiting unofficial fan translator sites in the future, so your poor heart won’t start aching from all the pangs of conscience.

Why can’t i access chapter 87? It’s july 18, i logged in. It’s 6pm and the chapter setting says it will be released on July 18 11pm.

The times might be Coordinated Universal Times. The chapters usually unlock for me at 8 am EST.
