“The scar on her thigh—Ye-jin got that back in high school, in Jinhae.”
Chairwoman Min began stiffly, her voice rigid and cold.
“Well, I suppose you couldn’t really call that person a friend, but anyway…”
Her face twisted sharply, the memory alone making her grit her teeth.
“You know her well too, CEO Seo.”
Chairwoman Min shot him a look filled with undisguised hostility.
“Joo Hye-mi — your precious secretary — dropped a flowerpot on our Ye-jin and left a scar on her thigh that’ll never fade.”
“You already knew. Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
She met his glare head-on, her tone lofty and self-righteous.
“I couldn’t just bring it up, could I? If I’d started talking about Joo Hye-mi, it would have seemed as though I was pressuring you to fire her. Even though I am her mother, it’s not my place to interfere in my son-in-law’s affairs.”
Her words were grand, almost pompous.
“The scar on her side was caused by her birth mother. She threw a glass cup straight at Ye-jin.”
Seo Jung-hoo’s brows drew together tightly. The more he learned about his wife’s past, the more rage welled up within him, becoming violent and uncontrollable.
“That woman — Ye-jin’s birth mother — took the entire child support payment in one lump sum and ran off, abandoning her.”
Even now, the thought made Chairwoman Min’s blood boil.
“I heard she got hooked on gambling in Cebu and ended up living like a complete wreck. Serves her right — karma, you might say.”
She called it karma.
But to Seo Jung-hoo, it didn’t sit right.
No — that woman deserved far worse.
Ye-jin’s mother should have lived a life far more miserable and wretched than that.
“The scar on her chest…That was my husband — Ye-jin’s biological father.”
“……”
“He got drunk in the middle of the night, lost his mind, and swung a kitchen knife at her.”
“……”
“A few days later, he went fishing on the tetrapods and fell to his death. Karma again.”
Once more, Chairwoman Min called it karma.
But Seo Jung-hoo still couldn’t agree.
His wife’s birth father needed a punishment worse than death.

Hope was much healthier and was discharged from hospital. The fracture in her leg, caused by a deficiency in fat-soluble vitamins, had now completely healed.
However, although Hope was back home, Ye-jin could no longer sleep with her as she had done in hospital. This was because he had warned her strictly that she must sleep with him. He did not, however, interfere when she went to see Hope at night.
Having made a considerable recovery, he had started going back to work a few days ago.
Today, the doctor gave approval for light exercise and marital relations.
“I’ve been waiting for this day.”
He roughly threw Ye-jin onto the bed and whispered excitedly in a husky voice.
He rained down savage kisses and tore impatiently at her clothing. The beast that had foregone hunting for a long time was unleashed.
With a coarse sound, her silk blouse was torn to shreds. He tore her bra as well, mercilessly.
Ye-jin didn’t resist at all. She docilely accepted his kisses and touch.
It wasn’t just him who had been waiting for this day.
She had been waiting desperately for it, too. She longed to mingle their skin, feel his body temperature, and share a breath with him.
“Hah…”
His warm lips moved slowly over Ye-jin’s body, as though exploring it.
He lightly nipped her nape, moved past her collarbone, and gently climbed onto her convex chest, biting the adorable peak.
Sweet milk flowed out. He licked his lips greedily and sucked it in. Not a drop was missed.
Eventually, he slid his lips slowly down her body, kissing her soft belly and thighs on the way until he reached her ankles.
He pressed his lips firmly to the tops of her feet and nibbled her toes one by one, as though playing a game. Ye-jin chuckled lightly.
His lips climbed her leg again, digging into her inner thigh.
When he pushed her thin underwear to one side, her beautiful, wet valley came into view.
He wanted to thr*st into her immediately, but he maxed out his patience and first flicked his tongue.
The night was long, anyway. Long enough to enjoy his meal slowly, without rushing.
“Aah…”
As he rolled his soft tongue mischievously across a sensitive spot, Ye-jin let out a seductive m*an, vigorously ruffling his hair with both hands.
Her toes curled up automatically, and her pelvis twisted uncontrollably in response to the pleasure that was piercing her body.
He knew her body too well. He knew exactly how to turn her on and make her cry out.
With incessant stimulation, liquid poured from her, completely soaking the bedsheets.
Panting for breath, Ye-jin pulled at his head with both hands.
“Jung-hoo, stop… Hurry…”
“Hurry, what?”
He curled the corners of his mouth. It was annoying that he knew perfectly well but insisted on asking.
“D-do it for me…”
Ye-jin moved her lips. Her fervent yearning for him was stronger than her pride.
“Hold me…”
He smiled knowingly. A grin of satisfaction spread across his face as he unbuckled his trousers.
He was wet, too, with transparent honey dripping profusely from the tip of his p*nis.
Grabbing his magnificently *rect p*nis, he thr*st inside her without hesitation. Ye-jin writhed and let out a fierce cry of pleasure.
“Haaah…!”
She had always felt this way, but he was simply too big. After such a long time, her tender body clearly struggled to accommodate such an enormous object.
But the thrill was as great as the struggle. She liked him so much that she didn’t care if she got hurt.

He devoured Ye-jin time and again. When the night passed into dawn, Ye-jin could no longer endure it and fainted.
When she woke up from her deep sleep, the sunlight was brightly streaming through the large window, and the side of the bed was empty.
“Where did he go? It’s Sunday today, so he shouldn’t have gone to work…”
Ye-jin muttered, rubbing her sleepy eyes.
She checked the clock on the wall. It was 9:00 a.m. It wasn’t an early hour, but it was sufficiently early for someone who had s*x all night.
Moreover, he had part of his liver removed only two months ago.
“Could’ve slept in a little. What are you doing up already…”
Grumbling under her breath, Ye-jin kicked off the duvet and got out of bed. Having been worn out all night by that wild beast, she wasn’t exactly feeling her best — truth be told, she would have loved nothing more than to sleep for longer. But curiosity got the better of her. Where had the beast gone, and what was he up to?
“He probably working.”
Dragging her tired feet across the floor, Ye-jin trudged toward the study. When she finally reached it and peeked the door open, he wasn’t there.
“Huh. That’s strange… the workaholic isn’t working today?”
She tilted her head, puzzled. Of all places, she’d expected to find him buried in paperwork.
Just then, Butler Ok appeared from the opposite hall.
“Butler, have you seen him?”
“He’s downstairs, playing squash.”
“What? Squash?”
Ye-jin blinked in disbelief, then hurried down to the basement court.
There he was — swinging his racket hard, darting across the court with sharp movements. His entire body was drenched in sweat, his breathing rough and ragged.
“What on earth are you doing!”
She burst into the court and shouted without thinking. He paused, tugging his goggles down.
“Can’t you see? I’m playing squash.”
“That’s not the point! Why are you playing squash? You’re not supposed to be overexerting yourself!”
“The doctor said I could do light exercise.”
She stared at him, speechless. Since when was squash considered light exercise?
“Squash counts as light exercise for you, Mr. Seo Jung-hoo?”
He nodded without the slightest hesitation. Ye-jin wanted to get angry, but she suppressed it and calmly asked again.
“Then what do you consider heavy exercise, Jung-hoo?”
“Deadlifts, about 250 kilograms?”
“Two, 250 kilograms? Are you out of your mind?”
She was so flabbergasted that she ended up shouting again.
“Don’t worry. I wouldn’t carelessly do that kind of exercise without a doctor’s instruction.”
“Don’t play squash either!”
Ye-jin clenched both her fists and yelled.
“Then what kind of exercise should I do?”
He said with a strange smile. There was clearly a sinister desire lurking in that smile.
As expected, he wrapped his sweat-drenched forearm around her slender waist, pulling their bodies tightly together.
“How about a hunt?”
“…”
“I’ll catch an arrogant wildcat and tame her into a house cat.”
He reached his large hand inside her T-shirt. Caressing her chest as if tracing its outline, he pressed his lips passionately against hers.
Had he not stolen her lips so urgently, perhaps Ye-jin might have responded.
But that wildcat had already become a house cat.
