A rabbit beast-kin named Asha, was raised as a sacrifice in a dark storage room. At the entrance of the cave where they finally dragged her to be offered up, she came face to face with a wolf beast-kin whose silver-gray eyes held a piercing, absolute stillness.

“Go ahead, devour me, please….”

“Sure, then.”

She thought she was finally going to be eaten, but he told her he would eat her once she became a bit more appetizing, and just like that, she found herself living together with a carnivorous beast-kin. Freed from her brainwashing and beginning to reclaim a normal life, she quickly found herself overwhelmed by the many emotions she was experiencing for the very first time.

“Hngh, stop.”
“You really want me to stop?”

His voice carried a playful lilt, but his silver-gray eyes rippled with something deep and dark. She knew, though, that a single nod would make him pull back immediately.

Her wavering heart only faltered for a moment. It felt strange and frightening, but she wasn’t scared. More than the unfamiliar, confusing emotions, she hated the thought of Ethan pulling away from her.

She bit down on her lip, turning it over in her mind, and slowly the ache began to ease. Her ragged breathing hadn’t settled yet, her chest still rising and falling in unsteady waves. Ethan rolled his hips in a slow, languid grind, seemingly to shorten the time she needed to decide. Her slender waist arched with a sharp, involuntary jolt, and a sound broke free from Asha’s throat.

“Ah!”
“Should I stop, Asha?”
“I—mm, ngh!”

She couldn’t even finish her words, gasping in breathless, broken pants. Ethan gently stroked her face, her expression too far gone to form a coherent answer. He was slowly beginning to pull back when she wrapped her slender legs around his waist and held on tight, her clear golden eyes fixed on him.

“…I want to keep going.”

The silver-gray eyes meeting hers sank into a deeper, darker shade. Ethan’s expression turned fierce, but the corners of his mouth curved into a beautiful arc. The shift in his gaze happened in an instant, and Asha swallowed without thinking. An instinctive tension crept up her spine in a slow, creeping shiver.

Maybe, this time, she really was going to get eaten.
