Chapter 4.1 – Adult Romance
Is this what they mean when they say your heart feels like it’s about to explode?
After returning to the bedroom with Damian, Berry picked up a wine glass, trying to cool the heat on her flushed face. Normally, she couldn’t stand the bitterness of dry red wine and rarely drank it, but this time she downed it in one go. In fact, she couldn’t really tell whether it was going through her nose or mouth, what scent it had, or what it tasted like.
From the moment she sat close to him, her heart thumped so fiercely it felt like it might burst through her skin. Compared to Berry, who was even cautious with her breathing, Damian’s gray eyes were excessively calm and serene. They were like a lake shrouded in heavy mist—a scene so mesmerizing that she couldn’t look away.
“You said you mainly studied management while studying abroad, right?”
“Yes.”
“Other than that, what else did you learn?”
“Well… For sports, I did fencing and polo… but all my classes were basically derived from management.”
‘Berry, Berry. Take your eyes off his lips.’
Berry called herself in silent lament, forcing herself to look away from his perfectly moving lips.
In fact, before she even realized it, she had been staring at his lips. Or maybe his eyes. Either way, what didn’t change was that she was gazing at him as if she wanted to devour him.
If she were Damian, she would have felt burdened.
“You still like strawberries, don’t you?”
“Mmm, I really do. Still.”
Berry, pretending to be calm so as not to reveal her trembling heart, reached for some finger food—a mini cupcake filled with sweet strawberry jam and topped with whipped cream, looking absolutely delicious.
“Ah.”
But while picking it up, she was distracted by him and made a mistake. The side of the cupcake burst, and thick strawberry jam fell onto her clothes. Worse, the jam trickled down her collarbone and over her chest.
“Oh dear.”
Damian wore a peculiar smile, contrary to his troubled tone. When Berry saw where his gaze landed, her face turned even redder.
Her dress was made of thin, light chiffon, so the sticky jam immediately rubbed against her skin, revealing her bare flesh underneath. The mini cupcake contained more jam than expected, and by the time she cupped her hands to catch it, both hands were a mess.
“Berry, give me your hand.”
“I tried to be careful, but…”
“It’s alright.”
Damian took out a handkerchief, but it was far too small to clean her sticky hands. The jam was so viscous, it wouldn’t wipe off easily.
“Oh, I need to wash up.”
“Yes, you really should.”
Was it just her imagination, or did she sense a heat lingering in his seemingly indifferent voice? Was Damian, too, sharing in this strange, sweet energy she felt now?
The wine was definitely stronger than champagne. They’d only shared a couple of glasses while talking, yet her whole body felt flushed.
And there were secret places, places she couldn’t even mention aloud, that were burning up as well.
Berry suddenly found herself wanting to go beyond just a kiss.
“Ah.”
It happened then. Damian, still holding her jam-covered fingers, drew them in and enveloped them—not with anything else, but with his lips.
Berry froze, shocked, unable to grasp what he was doing.
His lips were so warm. His tongue, touching the most sensitive tips of her fingers, sent a stimulation beyond anything she’d ever imagined.
Of course, she’d pictured scenes like this many times while reading romance novels, but never thought it would happen to her. Her heart fluttered wildly, and a slick, tingling sensation ran down her spine.
Berry had pricked her finger while embroidering before, and sometimes sucked on it, but not once did she feel even a fraction of this strange sensation. Maybe it was the person, maybe the act was similar, but could it really feel so different? She felt as if she might lose her mind.
The three elements—alcohol, strange sensations, and body heat—all came together.
“Hnng…”
A moan escaped, trembling at the tip of her nose. She couldn’t hold back even if she tried. Then Damian suddenly stopped. The thick tongue that had licked between every finger withdrew. Feeling a sharp sense of loss, Berry let out a sigh without meaning to.
“Sorry.”
“Don’t apologize.”
Surprisingly, Damian seemed just as startled by his own actions. As he quickly apologized, Berry hurried to reassure him, her thoughts racing.
‘We’re getting married soon anyway, we’ve been engaged for a long time, and, um, we’re sharing a bedroom right now. So…’
‘Maybe it was okay to do something that came with adult romance. Wasn’t it allowed?’
‘But how do I signal that I want something like that?’
They’d already kissed, so she wanted to go even further. If she stopped now, she’d probably have to wait until the wedding day, and impatient Berry didn’t want to endure those long months.
‘So let’s do it. All my friends had tried it, but I haven’t yet.’
Berry looked at him with eyes full of that meaning.
The conversation between them had faded away, and all that remained was the sound of two excited breaths. He clearly wanted it too, but was holding back. Forcing himself.
Finally, Berry fanned herself as if hot and deliberately raised her voice.
“Here, I need to wash off the jam on my chest. I think I should shower.”
“Ah.”
“Or… could you wipe it off for me? L-Like you did with my fingers just now…”
She finally said it. She’d said it.
It took Damian only a second for his gaze to change completely.
Damian interlaced his fingers with Berry’s, the ones he’d just sucked, and pushed her gently onto the bed. Berry collapsed without resistance, and Damian’s large frame settled between her legs.
“Right, I handled your hands, but your chest is the real problem.”
“If I just use a handkerchief, or take off—no, I mean, that’s not…”
Was Damian’s calm gaze all just a façade?
Berry saw his eyes blazing like fire now, and couldn’t finish her sentence.
He seemed like a completely different person. The man who’d been so earnest, gentle, and courteous just moments ago had vanished, and the one before her now felt like someone she didn’t know at all.
“Berry, I tried so hard to hold back…”
“Ahn!”
“If you act this cute, it just makes it harder to resist. You have no idea what’s going on in my head, and yet you give me permission, you really do.”
He pinched her cheek as if she were a child, then let go. Of course, Berry truly had no idea what was going on in his head. Not at all.
Damian looked somewhat resigned, yet his eyes burned as he gazed at her.
And in the next moment—
As soon as his hot lips touched her chest, Berry began to blush deeply.
“Ah!”
It was a sensation she had never felt before. It was as if butterfly wings fluttered endlessly in her stomach, tickling her. Her waist arched and twitched on its own. Damian didn’t seem to mind at all and persistently sucked at the spot where the strawberry jam had fallen.
When his saliva mixed with the jam, the area around her chest, stained even through her underwear, revealed the pale skin beneath her clothes. Damian did not stop, moving his lips to the center of her round br*ast.
From then on, there were no words.
“Haa.”
Her n*pple, already swollen with excitement, suddenly slipped into Damian’s mouth. The protruding tip became even redder and more swollen inside his lips.
With his wet saliva, the ar*ola took on a soft brown hue that would show through the thin piece of fabric.
Damian’s eyes, staring intently at her chest, sparked with fire.
Showering, undressing… This was far more romantic and thrilling than making love in a waltz-like sequence.
“Hnnng.”
Damian wrapped his hand around her ar*ola over the damp clothes and twisted her n*pple. Her legs twisted together, but thanks to his heavy waist positioned between them, she couldn’t move at all.
And below his waist, the thing at his center had grown so large that it pressed between her thighs, making her body freeze.
She hadn’t felt it so strongly when first laid on the bed.
Now, Damian’s presence was unmistakable, and Berry’s hair stood on end at the clear evidence of his arousal.
Peeking through half-closed eyes, what she saw was beyond imagination. Even though it was inside his thick pants, Damian’s manhood was pitching a massive tent.
‘No way. How could a person be like that?’
Embarrassingly, she was reminded of the huge stallion’s organ she’d seen not long ago.
‘If his pants came off, would it really be that big?’
Anxiety mixed with anticipation swept over Berry’s face.
“You must be curious about this.”
Damian sat up and slowly unfastened his belt buckle.
Click, click, click.
Did the sound of buckles and buttons coming undone always sound this s*xy? Now her mouth was so dry she couldn’t even swallow.
Berry barely managed to squeeze out a whisper.
“My future husband… if that part is small, I wouldn’t like it.”
“I see. That’s reasonable. It’s not a bad idea to see it before marrying.”
Damian smiled, as if amused. And in the next moment, when his underwear came down in one swift motion, there was the manhood she’d only imagined until now, and never seen in real life.
