4. Shadows Don’t Come Alone
The road to Harriton City’s National Museum was always crowded as it was in the city center.
Men and women dressed in suits and dresses according to the latest fashion passed by the roadside, and decent carriages ran in lines on roads wide enough for two-way traffic. Occasionally, rich people who liked showing off their money would bring out automobiles and drive back and forth with their heads held high.
However, the carriage carrying Riena couldn’t move forward when it was a couple blocks away from the museum. There seemed to be a collision accident nearby.
Her carriage also had to stand still for quite a while among the long line of vehicles. Tired of waiting, she opened the small side window leading to the driver’s seat.
“I say, it would be better to walk instead. I’ll get off here, so please come pick me up later.”
“Yes, Miss. What time should I return?”
“Four in the afternoon should be appropriate. Let’s meet in front of the main entrance then.”
Riena got off the carriage and walked the streets alone. The downtown area at midday was full of vitality. These days, thanks to the city security force being reinforced and actively operating, an atmosphere was gradually taking hold where even upper-class women didn’t bring maids with them.
After walking a bit, she discovered a shortcut to the museum.
Since it was an area laid out like a chessboard, taking that path would definitely get her there faster. There were many pedestrians around and it wasn’t a distant path. She hesitated for a moment wondering what to do, then turned her shoes toward the alley.
The brick-laid alley was quite wide for a path where only people walked. When she first entered, she wondered if she was doing something unnecessary, but as she took more steps, it became nothing.
Then suddenly she felt the presence of people completely cut off.
It was a situation that could commonly occur in back alleys. But somehow she felt an eerie feeling.
Her spine became chilly, so she walked as fast as possible. The sound of her heels clicking echoed bleakly on the path where only she walked.
Something was definitely strange. She felt like someone was following her.
‘Who is it?’
She was even scared to look back. Her fast walking almost turned into running. But she didn’t have the courage to face the pursuer’s face. She comforted herself that if she pretended nothing was wrong and left the path, it would become nothing.
The presence was getting closer and closer.
‘Maybe they’re not trying to attack me. Maybe it’s another pedestrian. It must be that.’
There were only footsteps for one person—Riena. Why didn’t the other make any walking sounds?
Her eyes rolled to the side as she glanced around. Fear and wariness mixed together, and she finally confirmed the identity of the presence.
A shadow that had somehow approached right behind her back flowed eerily like a ghost. The large, pitch-black existence caught the edge of her peripheral vision.
“Ah!”
It rushed at her in an instant.

Confusion was being added to greater confusion.
When she woke up startled from sleep, Riena remembered that the incident in the alley had actually happened.
It was just a little while ago. While going to the museum for research, she was definitely chased by something that might have been a suspicious person or a ghost.
‘But I definitely met someone in the ancient artifact room too.’
That memory was also real. Was it twice on the same day? Or was it a different day? Because she had gone to the museum several times, she was confused with the timing, but she could instinctively know that both were actual experiences, not fantasies she had made up arbitrarily. If she had to compare, they were memories with much more reality than this primitive world.
She put her feet down below the bed and pressed her hand to her throbbing temples. She rubbed her eyes that had become stiff from dried tears.
Murat’s house, the brazier with remaining embers, the pitch-black gap in the door.
It seemed the day hadn’t dawned yet. Murat was nowhere to be seen. Had he gone out briefly?
While putting on her clothes, she noticed that the wooden bowl that had been placed beside the bed had disappeared.
Because she had said she would heal those who were seriously injured in the competition, she had to give Saya at least a little milk. So during s*x, Murat had sucked a mouthful and put it in the bowl. He probably went to deliver that.
‘When will he come back?’
Riena waited for him while stirring the brazier with a poker.
After a while, the wooden door creaked. She turned her head happily, but there was someone other than Murat.
“Whoa! the scent of milk is really vibrating throughout the house.”
It was Saya. He smiled nastily then rushed over and covered her mouth.
There was another man behind him too. One was Neizan. He was the one who had tried to attack her by the bonfire last night but failed. The other was Jair, who followed behind Saya like a loyal servant.
Unable to make any sound, Riena had to be loaded onto Saya’s shoulder like baggage.
Being attacked by three large men, she couldn’t even offer weak resistance. By the time she grasped the situation, let alone struggle, she was already being carried on Saya’s back.
“Let’s go quickly. Murat will come soon.”
Saya was expecting Murat to stop by his house in the early dawn.
Because he had used that time when delivering milk to Den before too. There were no cases of Riena being alone during the day. When Murat had no choice but to leave, he would take advantage of when she was sleeping.
Even if Murat might act differently than expected, it was worth trying for Saya. So he had been waiting in front of the house without any plan.
When Riena became alone, they smiled with satisfaction.
Laughing gleefully that their operation had succeeded, the three men carried her to an empty house some distance away. There, a gag was put in Riena’s mouth. After being thrown onto a dust-covered bed, her hands and feet were roughly grabbed.
Even if she tried to ask someone for help, there was no way. Though a whistle hung around her neck, she couldn’t blow it.
“Mmph, mmm, mm.”
She pleaded to Saya with fear-stricken eyes.
“You’re asking me to spare you?”
“Mmm.”
She nodded her head vigorously. Surely Saya had great affection for her and always showed her a brightly smiling face. She couldn’t understand why he was suddenly trying to commit such an act.
“Don’t worry. How could I harm God’s gift?”
Unlike his gentle tone, Saya’s actions showed no hesitation in hurting her. The hand movements pulling up her top were so violent that her armpit was scraped by the rough fabric. When Riena let out a pained m*an, he clicked his tongue as if displeased.
“Your clothes are so delicate they’re hard to take off, really. You claim to be from God’s world, so why are you so weak? Can you survive like this?”
He carelessly grabbed and twisted her br*asts with hands that had jagged fingernails. Despite her feelings of wanting to struggle and scream, milk leaked drop by drop from her chest.
The milk Riena produced was clearly not for the purpose of filling a baby’s belly but for sexually seducing men. Otherwise, just a small amount of juice wouldn’t make eyes roll back.
“Ha, the smell…… I’m going crazy with l*st.”
While Saya pulled down his lower garments and took out his lower body, Neizan beside him pushed his head forward trying to sink his teeth into her milk mounds. Jair also glared with bloodshot eyes and tried to pounce, but being a step late, he paced behind them.
Neizan held both her wrists and Saya grabbed her ankles. Her pants were also helplessly removed.
‘I hate this. Let me go. I said I hate it!’
She wanted to cry out at the top of her lungs with tears flowing like a waterfall, but only meaningless mumbling circled in her blocked mouth.
A pointed tongue stretched out long from Saya’s mouth like a viper. The sight of him licking his lips and revealing his desire to devour her was itself demonic.
“That’s why you shouldn’t have said impossible things by the bonfire. You should have followed my words.”
“Mmph, mmng.”
“I agree with Murat’s thinking too. I acknowledge that we need to plant a baby in you. But I can’t accept the intention to only roll around with that bastard Murat.”
Saya’s n*ked body attacked her. Because of this, Neizan’s head that was trying to swallow her br*ast whole was pushed away.
“Shouldn’t you carry as much seed as possible? God’s gift, you must receive the c*cks of all White Stone Tribe males. We don’t know whose seed among us will sprout in your body.”
