Runaway Secretary - Chapter 72
CHAPTER 72
Uh, this is…….
“It’s important…”
“Isn’t it?”
“Well, it is, but other parts are important too…”
“The twinkling little brother is here.”
Yeonseo’s eyes widened in confusion. She had actually sensed the angry doppelganger from before. It might have been like this since she was undressing him.
“Shall I do it since you’re in pain?”
“Okay.”
Swallowing hard, Yeonseo reached out. Taeheon took a deep breath before getting up. Then he went directly under the shower. He had asked for it, but now it seemed unnecessary.
“Let’s wash and go out. You shouldn’t catch a cold.”
“…Okay.”
With a somewhat regretful heart, Yeonseo nodded. From wiping the large Taeheon to drying and dressing him, it was an immense task.
Half exhausted, Yeonseo lay down on the sofa and eventually fell asleep. Deeply, unaware that Taeheon was changing her w*t clothes.
After an hour, Yeonseo finally woke up. She had to leave for Yongin, but every time she tried to say she was leaving, Taeheon claimed to be in pain, causing a delay.
In the end, she couldn’t return until late in the evening, so they waited until tomorrow.
Dinner time. Yeonseo did the best she could, putting side dishes on Tae-heon’s personal plate and making sure he had water.
“I’ll have to leave early tomorrow morning, I have a lot of work to do.”
“Leaving me in pain and going.”
“Huh? It’s not like that.”
“I can’t eat, can’t wash, can’t sleep, and can’t even go to the bathroom.”
But he was just able to use the bathroom just fine earlier.
“If it’s that painful, call your doctor. If it’s still severe, go back to the hospital.”
“They said it would slowly get better, so I’ll be like this until I recover completely.”
“How can I….”
Yeonseo’s clear eyes were filled with tears as she arched her eyebrows in concern. Taeheon’s pupils fluttered as he looked at her.
“…Are you crying?”
“I wasn’t going to cry, but… It hurts to see you in so much pain.”
“But why cry about it?”
She sometimes cried like this. Probably because of hormones.
Huhu.
Yeonseo burst into tears.
Taeheon jumped out of his seat and knelt down in front of Yeonseo, not even realizing his water glass had been knocked over.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”
“Huhu. Why are you sorry?”
“I’m not in pain anymore.”
“Huhu.”
“I lied to you so you wouldn’t leave.”
“Huhu, huh?”
“I didn’t mean to make you cry, I’m sorry.”
Yeonseo sobbed and looked down at him. Taeheon awkwardly wiped away tears from Yeonseo’s cheek.
“…You lied?”
“Yeah. Don’t cry because I’m not really in pain.”
“You lied so I wouldn’t leave?”
“…Yes.”
Taeheon pulled up his lips in a cool way. Perplexed by his odd behavior, Yeonseo furrowed her brows for a moment, sniffling.
Observing Taeheon as he handed her tissues to wipe away her tears and blow her nose with a fresh one, she pondered deeply.
Taeheon was such a fox. The way he looked at her blindly was almost childlike. Yet, the gentle touch brushing her cheek was distinctly that of a mature man.
Yeonseo reached out and grabbed both of Taeheon’s cheeks. She lowered her face to brush her lips lightly against his, then released them.
“If you don’t want me to leave, just tell me not to.”
“I told you not to leave.”
“And I didn’t, right?”
“I meant… don’t leave tomorrow either.”
“I can’t. I have to clean the house tomorrow.”
Taeheon’s eyebrows furrowed. He averted his gaze for a moment before looking back at her.
“You don’t want to live here with me?”
“Huh?”
Why would he…?
“If you don’t like this house, we can move to another one.”
Could it be… he thought I was leaving and moving to Yongin?
A sense of urgency emanated from his composed expression. Yeonseo’s heart swelled. She had become someone so important to him. Taeheon had been anxiously harboring these feelings.
Yeonseo burst into laughter.
“I’m going to Yongin and then I’ll be back.”
“…By tomorrow?”
Originally, she planned to stay at Yongin for a few days, but if she did, Taeheon would be deeply disappointed. She nodded and cupped Taeheon’s cheek again.
“Now I’m going to snuggle up next to you, Taeheon, and never be apart. We’ll have our Twinkle by our side.”
“About such things, you should say it sooner.”
Taeheon grabbed Yeonseo’s wrist.
“Ah, really.”
He stood up and immediately pressed his lips against hers. He softly and plumply sucked on her lips.
Hastily parting her lips, Taeheon’s warmth flowed into her mouth. The tangled tongues ignited like a lit fuse, intensifying with every entanglement. The kiss flowed faster, revealing the fiery passion.
“Ah, Taeheon…”
“Every time you call my name, it feels like I’m alive. Did I say that before?”
“I don’t know. Hmmm…”
He slipped his hand under her T-shirt, nipping at the nape of her neck as she tilted her chin.
“You can leave the cleaning to someone else.”
“Hmm, ah, it hurts.”
“Now that we can finally be together, why do you keep trying to get away?”
‘Don’t go. Stay by my side.’
Taeheon repeated similar words. After the lingering, fierce kiss, Taeheon’s eyes flashed dangerously across the table.
“Ha…”
She wonders if they’ll go all the way.
If Taeheon’s condition allowed, Yeonseo was willing to sleep with him. She wanted so badly to take him in. But Taeheon only stared at her with reddened eyes and didn’t move.
Running his fingers across his puffy lips, he turned on his heel. He left the dining room and didn’t return.
He’ll just leave like this?
Yeonseo sighed, a mixture of disappointment and slight relief. She had expected to be swallowed up during the kiss, and when Taeheon left abruptly, it left her feeling unsatisfied.
She had no intention of living permanently in Yongin. She had just wanted to tidy up. Yet, it seemed like Taeheon had misinterpreted it. It made her heart pound, and her feet shuffled in embarrassment.
But when Taeheon nibbled at the nape of her neck, a chill ran down her spine. It was a little bitter that he had to endure his body ache with desire like this.
**
Okay. With a determined expression in front of the bathroom mirror, Yeonseo nodded her head. It wasn’t as if she couldn’t help Taeheon who was enduring.
In fact, Yeonseo found it hard to endure as well…
“No, no. It’s not like that.”
She just wanted to help him so he doesn’t suffer. She was just trying to help him since he couldn’t engage in strenuous exercise.
“Sigh….”
Yeonseo looked at herself in the mirror and simulated in her mind. Soon, her cheeks turned a rosy color.
“Will it work?”
She felt a sudden loss of confidence, then gathered her courage, realizing she couldn’t stay like this until Taeheon got better.
“It will work.”
She had tried something similar before. Of course, back then, Taeheon had helped, but considering it as an advanced version, it shouldn’t be too difficult.
Yeonseo slipped on her robe without underwear and meticulously fastened the waistband.
She hesitated a bit, then returned to the bedroom, but Taeheon wasn’t there. It felt empty and curious without him following along like a puppy.
Taeheon was answering his phone on the terrace of his bedroom. There were several terraces in the large house, all with different atmospheres.
The bedroom terrace was the darkest and the most modern. It made sense since Taeheon used it frequently.
“It’s been a while since the auction ended, and the order hasn’t been placed yet. Should we consider changing our collaboration?”
Taeheon’s voice was stern when he worked. Yeonseo, who understood the struggles of a working person well, empathized with the person on the other end of the phone and lowered her eyes.
Taeheon turned around as if he sensed Yeonseo’s movement, but she playfully walked up behind him and hugged his waist.
“Forget about the obvious stuff and hold onto it until tomorrow morning.”
Taeheon hung up the phone, unwrapped Yeonseo’s hand from around his waist, and sat on the nearby chair.
What, is he avoiding me?
Even though she knew why Taeheon was avoiding her, she felt bad inside. Seeing his cold face, subtly sending glances her way, made her feel a bit lonely, wondering if she was the only one feeling this way.
“Are you hurt or anything?”
“No.”
“Are you hungry?”
“No.”
In reality, her stomach was on the verge of bursting. Taeheon kept trying to feed her and picking up one thing after another to eat, digestion was almost impossible.
If it was supposed to be comforting, Taeheon seemed like he wouldn’t care much even if she threw up.
Yeonseo mumbled something that wasn’t comforting.
“Uhm, I think my leg might be a little sore.”
“Leg?”
Yeonseo shifted and rested lightly on one of Taeheon’s thighs. His body stiffened.
It was just an injured arm, sitting lightly on him wouldn’t be too much of a strain. Nevertheless, she was slightly worried, so she quickly observed his complexion.
Taeheon lightly sucked on Yeonseo’s lower lip, as if gently caressing it, then released it.
“It feels like you’re doing this on purpose.”
“What if I’m indeed doing this on purpose?”
“What do you mean?”
“I’m not wearing underwear.”
After saying it, Yeonseo shyly nibbled on her lip, and her dark brown eyes sparkled strangely.
“Ha.”
Taeheon covered his face with one hand. His lips, visible through the gap, seemed to be smiling.
The black night sky, the quiet terrace. The familiar Seoul air. Just the two of them.
Everything was perfect. Yeonseo turned her body completely to face him.
She let out a small laugh as her full lips sought out Taeheon’s first.
“It tickles…”
“If you do this, I can’t resist.”
“You can’t resist it?”
“Don’t drive me crazy.”
A large hand slipped into her disheveled hair, his eyes narrowing as he sucked in her bottom lip.
She liked the way she was slowly getting wetter, and every time they kissed, she could feel Taeheon’s sensitivity.
Raindrops pounded on the terrace awning. The rain, which had paused for a moment, was drizzling down again.
Their sweet breaths intertwined closely, whispering as if they were sharing a secret. When they caught their breath, Taeheon pulled away.
Yeonseo opened her eyes slowly. Up close, his pupils stared back at her with a color so deep it made her skin crawl.
Now, happiness didn’t need to be squeezed out. This love was beautiful without any effort.
“I love you.”
The burst-out confession created ripples in his eyes.
“In fact… I wanted to live together too.”
“At least let me into your bed.”
His languid voice sounded pleasant, but there was a hunger in him, almost like a famished desire.
