Saint Layla, Whose Memories Were Taken

“There is only one way to leave this temple.”
Layla, raised as a Saint within a secluded temple that even the faithful could not easily access.
Only the High Priest has the power to let the Saint leave the temple,
yet the High Priest is rarely seen.
At the border between the temple and the village, Layla happens to cross paths with the High Priest by chance.
To Layla, who longs to escape the temple, the High Priest proposes a marriage vow.
“Do you mean a true marriage?”
“Is that difficult for the benevolent Saint Layla?”
With no time to pull away, the distance between them closed
before the High Priest with his mysterious ash-grey eyes.
“Marriage comes with a fitting price.”

The next day, Layla awakens alone in an unfamiliar place.
For some reason, all memories of the previous night have vanished,
and every time she tries to recall what she has lost, a crushing headache cuts her thoughts short.
Then, the erased memories begin to surface,
and the recollections of that night, wrapped in ecstasy, start to return.
Will she be able to meet again the one who gave her freedom?
