Leon wished that, at least in this moment, her mind would be completely filled with him.
“Ahh, hngh.”
He lifted Ellen’s waist and pushed himself deeper inside her, intensifying his thr*sts. With each rough movement that pressed against her abdomen, m*ans flowed endlessly from her lips.
Every time he felt an emptiness in his heart, Leon pushed himself into her even harder. He wanted to fill the void in his heart with their physical connection, if nothing else.
Although he had said it was fine if Ellen didn’t love him, that wasn’t true. He wanted her to see only him. He wanted to possess her entirely.
He wanted to keep her far away from other men—especially the son of the Goat family.
Just like before, he wanted her to smile brightly at him, to look at him with sparkling eyes, and to love him as she once had.
Leon silently shouted these words in his heart, words he couldn’t bring himself to say aloud, as he desperately craved Ellen’s love. Then, he poured all his emotions into her.

At that same time, Viscount Novary, who had been bedridden, finally managed to rise. It was thanks to the devoted care of the Viscountess by his side.
“Where is Ellen? Bring her to me immediately!”
As soon as he got up, he demanded to see his daughter, who had been causing him so much distress. But the Viscountess deliberately chose not to summon her.
She didn’t want to stress Ellen, who was already burdened with trying so hard for the sake of the family.
“She’s been working tirelessly to earn money lately. Can’t you trust her and wait a little longer?”
“What nonsense! How can she call herself a noble by earning such petty sums? And to defy me like this? I won’t stand for it!”
Viscount Novary felt ashamed that his noble daughter was trying to work.
He couldn’t understand why Ellen insisted on pursuing such trivial endeavors instead of taking the easy route of marrying a wealthy noble.
When he learned that she had unilaterally informed Baron Aran of her refusal to marry him, he had been utterly shocked.
He had nearly fainted again upon receiving the furious letter from the Baron.
How could she destroy such a valuable connection in such an absurd way?
Ellen, who couldn’t even attract wealthy nobles during the social season, had rejected the match he had arranged for her. To the Viscount, she seemed utterly pathetic.
He had been too lenient with her recently, using her illness as an excuse. Now, he realized he needed to issue strict orders to keep her under control.
“Ellen isn’t in her room, so it’s pointless to check her room now.”
Ignoring the Viscountess’s words, he headed straight for Ellen’s room.
“Why is this house such a mess?”
He grumbled as he opened the bedroom door. Just as the Viscountess had said, the room was empty.
“…A woman who should be modest, staying out for long periods… utterly disgraceful.”
Clicking his tongue in disapproval, Viscount Novary turned to leave the bedroom. However, he suddenly stopped in his tracks, overcome by an indescribable feeling.
“There must have been something that happened in Melchia. Otherwise, Ellen wouldn’t have changed so drastically.”
The Viscount re-entered the room and began searching through it. He was looking for anything—a diary or some clue—that might explain her transformation.
He needed something to use against her, a weakness he could exploit to make her obey him.
“What is this? There’s nothing here?”
No matter how thoroughly he searched, he couldn’t find what he was looking for. The longer he rummaged, the angrier he became. He was convinced there had to be someone who had influenced Ellen.
Then, his gaze fell on one particular spot.
Could it be there?
Swallowing hard, Viscount Novary slowly approached the trash bin. Fortunately, the trash hadn’t been emptied in a while, as everyone had been busy. The bin was quite full.
He despised touching dirty things with his own hands, but he had a nagging feeling that he might find evidence of some suspicious activity hidden inside.
Slowly, he began sifting through the trash.
“!”
His eyes widened in shock as he uncovered something. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
“No… it can’t be.”
Viscount Novary pulled a small bottle from the trash bin. It was nearly empty, but the color of the residue inside made it unmistakable. There was only one type of medicine with that color.
“It can’t be. It mustn’t be.”
Though he had a strong suspicion of what it was, the Viscount refused to accept it. He opened the bottle and sniffed its contents. His fears were confirmed.
It was a contraceptive.
The moment he realized what the medicine was, Viscount Novary collapsed to his knees, his palms flat against the floor, overcome with despair.
All his dreams of forming an alliance with a wealthy noble family had been shattered in an instant.
“Ellen, how could you do this to me? I knew something was off when you suddenly broke off the engagement and started spouting nonsense…. So this was the reason? How dare you betray me like this?”
He shouted in rage, trembling with fury, in the empty room where no one could hear him.
Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined that his daughter could be so reckless. He felt utterly betrayed. He had trusted her and sent her to Melchia to enjoy some freedom before her marriage. And this was how she repaid him.
“Who is it? Who could it be? Judging by the timing, it must have started when she went to Melchia. Was it a coachman? Or some commoner she met casually?”
Because nobles valued chastity so highly, the Viscount didn’t even consider the possibility that Ellen’s partner might be a noble. That made her behavior all the more intolerable to him.
“This can’t go on. I need to take appropriate measures before things get worse.”
He had to avoid the worst-case scenario. There was no time to waste on venting his anger at Ellen. He needed to find a solution to this crisis as quickly as possible.
Leaving Ellen’s room in a hurry, he headed straight for the carriage.

“You said you’d provide me with a comfortable place to sleep.”
The night had grown dark. Lying under the moonlight, Ellen pouted as she spoke.
Even after they had come together several times, Leon still looked at her like a predator eyeing its prey, his gaze filled with hunger.
Judging by his current demeanor, it didn’t seem like he planned to let her go anytime soon.
“Isn’t this comfortable? There are sweet desserts and a soft bed, so it should be. Besides, I said I’d provide a place to sleep, not that I’d let you sleep.”
“….”
Leon wore a shameless expression. He showed no intention of letting go of Ellen, who was lying in his arms.
As if afraid she might slip away, he kept clinging to her, wrapping himself around her.
When Ellen glared at him, he pulled her closer, kissing her eyes, cheeks, and lips briefly.
“Just a little more.”
Before long, Leon’s hands gently cupped her cheeks. Then, he began planting a series of light kisses on her lips. Ellen, unable to answer, found her words blocked by his persistent lips.
His hands gradually moved from her neck to her chest, her waist, and finally to her lower body. Seeing his already aroused state, it was clear he had no intention of stopping.
Ellen, who had already reached her peak several times in his arms, just wanted to rest now.
“I’m tired.”
“Just one more time. Just one last time.”
Lying beside her, Leon began teasing her entrance with his length, pleading with her.
