“Come in.”
Kana entered the office. Viscount Round silently observed his daughter and the spirits beside her. She spoke first.
“Father, why did you call for me?”
“To request your help.”
“……Did something happen to the spirit summoner who promised to accompany you this time?”
“Yes. Unfortunately they suddenly fell ill and can’t come.”
He sighed deeply while rubbing his temples. Kana immediately grasped his intention and her eyes lit up.
“Are you thinking of entrusting me with the Earth’s Breath work near the mine?”
Earth’s Breath was work done every 5-10 years to channel energy into barren land using spirit energy and spirit arts, mainly handled by spirit summoners with earth and water spirits.
He seriously affirmed.
“Yes. While wondering who to entrust it to, I remembered that my daughter also has an earth spirit. I thought it would be good to entrust it to you since you’re reliable and dependable.”
“I see.”
Viscount Round cleared his throat politely while looking at his nodding daughter.
“Ahem, so would that be alright?”
“Of course. We’ll be back quickly through the long-distance magic circle anyway. I’ll get ready and come with you.”
“Thank you.”
“Don’t mention it. It’s a family business, so of course I should do it.”
She readily accepted since she wouldn’t see them anymore after the ending. Viscount Round’s face brightened at his daughter’s refreshing and composed answer. The spirits naturally seeped into the pure pearls of their accessories.

Kana changed into comfortable clothes and moved with her father to the villa in the west through the capital’s long-distance magic circle.
The manager and knight welcomed them gladly. Viscount Round raised his hand and smiled warmly at them.
“Poffin, Sir Colin.”
“Welcome, Viscount. Miss came too. But the spirit summoner……”
Poffin and Colin greeted politely then scanned the surroundings. Viscount Round calmly turned his gaze to his daughter.
“Ah, they couldn’t come due to circumstances. Instead, our Kana agreed to take on that role.”
“Viscount, doesn’t Miss only have a wind spirit?”
Colin’s eyes grew round, being somewhat slow to receive news. Kana shrugged and replied instead of her father.
“Actually, I recently contracted with an earth spirit too.”
“Wow, that’s amazing! Incredible!”
While Poffin clapped in admiration, Colin gave Kana a worried look.
“Miss, won’t it be too burdensome?”
“It’s fine. My spirit energy is quite abundant…… and this land isn’t severely barren nor is the work area vast.”
“If you say so, I’ll guide you.”
“Okay.”
They all walked together to the land with the mine. Upon arriving at their destination, Kana stopped and carefully examined the surroundings while touching the pure pearl of her ring.
‘Gnome, can you do it?’
[With you, contractor, I can definitely do it!]
‘Good.’
[Aww, how precious.]
Celia’s soft laughter from the pure pearl of the necklace overlapped with Kana’s.
She took out Nubes from her ring’s subspace then gestured to the people around.
“Everyone please step back.”
“Alright.”
“Yes.”
Viscount Round, Poffin, and Colin tactfully moved far back. A translucent brown spirit flowed out from the pure pearl of the ring and settled in the center facing her.
Kana closed her eyes and concentrated while holding Nubes. Her thinly scattered spirit energy covered the land within range. Gnome swept across the land following the flow of spirit energy.
The others watched her from behind with bated breath. The earth’s soil turned dark and damp as if wet with water before returning to its original color.
[Miss Kana, it’s done!]
‘Good work, Gnome.’
Gnome made a clear laughing sound and seeped back into the pure pearl of the ring. She opened her closed eyes wide while wiping the sweat that had formed on her forehead with one hand.
“I’ve finished.”
“Well done, Kana. You’re really amazing.”
Viscount Round smiled broadly while taking out a handkerchief from his chest to gently wipe his daughter’s face. Unlike her happy father, her response was calm.
“It’s nothing.”
“Where did you get that auxiliary magic tool you carry? You always take such precious care of it.”
His gaze fixed on Nubes. It caught the eye as it was clearly a magic tool with excellent appearance and performance. Kana gently stroked the folded Nubes while answering.
“Lord Kiriel gave it to me as a gift. I’m just grateful he custom-made it despite being busy.”
“Do you like the Tower Master?”
“What?”
“You don’t need to try hiding it. You’re smiling like that.”
A subtle emotion flickered in Viscount Round’s eyes as he recalled his sweet early days with his wife. Kana unconsciously touched around her lips. As he said, the corners of her mouth were turned up.
Viscount Round slowly continued speaking while looking at his daughter who just flinched and moved her lips.
“It seems like it’s been a while since I’ve seen you smile so brightly. Though you were always smiling, I felt there was something empty somewhere.”
“……Father.”
“I know you’ve been very close with the Tower Master lately. He seems quite favorable towards you too.”
Though she thought he wasn’t paying much attention since he hadn’t said anything particular about her matters, it seems he had been observing. Kana hesitated before honestly admitting.
“……That’s true.”
“Move as your heart guides you. We’ll quietly support you from behind. And if it gets difficult, you can step back and lean on us.”
Viscount Round’s gaze was serious. Though she knew it was an illusion, his words struck a chord. With an inexplicably aching heart, Kana could only nod without answering.

Just as spring seemed to be approaching, suddenly it was the protagonists’ wedding day. Kana headed to the imperial palace in moderately elegant attire.
Perhaps because she had trouble sleeping the night before due to her troubled mind, she was a bit tired.
She closed her eyes and circulated spirit energy throughout her body while recalling the conversation she had with her industry friend the previous day.
“Round, tomorrow is finally the ending. The day after tomorrow, we’ll exit from here.”
“Yeah. I hope nothing goes wrong until the very end.”
“It seems the exit door appears at the fountain in the central plaza the night after the protagonists’ wedding ends.”
“Right. The guide text told us. We can meet there after it ends and exit together.”
“Yeah.”
Heavy silence fell after his answer. Alderaan carefully asked while looking at his industry friend who was giving off a heavy atmosphere.
“Round, are you okay?”
“……Honestly, I feel a bit uneasy.”
“Is it because you’re worried about Kiriel?”
“That and various other things.”
Complex emotions were steeped in her voice. Alderaan slowly spoke while stroking his chin.
“Hmm, it’s probably not good to get too immersed when everything’s ending. That’s also an implicit maxim for supporting role actors.”
“Right, I need to get a grip. Sorry for being sentimental right before the end.”
“It’s fine. It’s nothing to apologize for. I just hope your heart finds peace.”
“……Yeah, thanks.”
Their conversation ended there. Kana shook her head to shake off the memories and took slow deep breaths.
‘Once this scene passes, it’s really the end.’
While she was composing herself, she arrived at the spacious hall of the imperial palace. The gorgeously decorated scenery and nobles crowded like clouds caught her eye.
Kana looked around and joined the noble ladies she was acquainted with. While she was appropriately responding to the ladies’ chattering, the protagonists appeared.
Letie was elegantly smiling in a snow-white wedding dress. Though her beauty was originally brilliant and bright, today she shone uniquely above all. She approached the ladies of her faction.
As soon as Kana made eye contact with the female protagonist, she immediately delivered praising lines.
“Oh my, Lady Letie. You’re so beautiful. When I looked around, there was only light, so I lost my gaze for a moment.”
“That’s right. As expected of today’s wedding protagonist. My heart fluttered even seeing you from afar.”
Olivia supported her words. Other ladies were also busy praising the female protagonist while nodding. Letie waved her hands while smiling brightly.
“Oh my, hearing such words makes me shy.”
“I only spoke the truth. I hope you live happily ever after.”
Kana looked straight at the female protagonist of ‘Fake Saint’. Letie’s lips drew a gentle curve. Other ladies also poured out congratulatory words to her one after another.
“I hope you spend good times with His Highness the Crown Prince forever.”
“I pray infinite glory dwells in Lady Letie’s future.”
“Thank you everyone.”
Letie smiling broadly looked truly happy. It was understandable since she had gone through various events after regression and finally reached the ending.
While they were chatting in a warm atmosphere, the male protagonist approached, wearing a splendid formal attire.
“Sorry to interrupt your pleasant conversation, but I need to take my bride.”
“Ah, greetings to Your Highness the Crown Prince. Please do.”
“Thank you.”
Richard escorted Letie away. Evie murmured with a pleased smile.
“They really are a well-matched pair.”
“Indeed.”
Kana agreed while silently watching their figures.
During the protagonists’ wedding ceremony, she stayed strictly within the group of noble ladies except for exchanging glances with her industry friend and greeting Kiriel.
While she quietly kept her place like a background prop, before she knew it the protagonists kissed, flower petals fluttered, and the scene concluded.
“I now declare you husband and wife.”
Kana applauded enthusiastically along with those around her. Then the bouquet Letie threw flew to a completely unexpected person. It was a moment when everyone was shocked.
