hmmm, how should i say this, at first it seems the FL is broken by the t*rture she endured for those past 5 years, then his son doing almost the same while reassuring himself that he is not like his father blah blah blah, but in truth he feels pleasure when she’s crying and all, not as harsh as his father maybe but yeah, anyways, I suppose this was not that fluff and all but yeh decent read.

t first, I liked the story because the couple has great communication. There aren’t any misunderstandings in the sense of her hiding things from him. When he asks something, she tells him the truth. It’s actually him who keeps some things hidden, especially when it comes to his feelings.
There’s a nice s*xual tension between them—a well-done slow burn. I really enjoyed that… until I realized the author totally missed the timing to actually heat things up.
