Belze extended her claws and scratched her own sole. As she listened quietly, she felt a strong urge to fiercely scratch the thigh that had been irritating her.

It’s disgraceful that those who hope for protection from the heroes are the ones trying to restrict the abilities of those with true power. Because of these people, Seo was now in a situation where he couldn’t freely change the course of his life. Belze thought their actions were despicable.

Still, she couldn’t scratch them. It was annoying to have her neck and back stroked, but if she rampaged in the situation Seo brought her into, he would be the one to face criticism.

After waiting a little longer, Seo, who had disappeared, appeared holding a large bag. The employees who were talking about Seo behind the scenes stopped acting like they had always done this and welcomed him.

“I guess you’re done with your business.  But why is she so quiet? It took you quite a while, and she’s been so well-behaved without a single growl.”

“Really? I think being quiet doesn’t necessarily mean well-behaved, it seems more like a lack of dignity.”

With a nonchalant chuckle, Belze, who had been curling up on the man’s lap, suddenly stood up, growled, and leaped down. Even though he knew he was talking to a cat, the hairs on his body stood on end.

Ignoring the employees’ screams, Belze quickly threw herself between Seo’s legs. As she rubbed against his shins and wagged her tail, Seo reached down and picked her up again, as if he couldn’t help himself.

“Don’t go flirting with some random guy when I’m not around.”

“Meow.”

Belze burrowed into Seo’s arms with a cry he wasn’t sure was a meow or a yowl. She’d been trying to save his face, and she was a little upset to hear the scolding.

But it was still nice to see him be so possessive. Even if it was for a cute little kitten.

In fact, this might be more effective. Considering the emotional connection that had been established, it might be better to first become close as a cat before revealing her true identity. 

There are many novels and manga where people take in stray dogs or cats, raise them, and then fall in love with them. It’ll take a while for that to happen,  and given that he was now in the dormitory, there were no other ways for them to meet anyway.

If Seo decides to keep her in his room, she can start planning.

Fortunately, Seo doesn’t let go of the kitten until he’s back in his private room. Opening the door to Room 805, Seo showed me around.

It was the doll that Belze had given. Pleased that Seo still has it, Belze wiggled in his arm. Seo narrowed his eyes and chuckled.

“Do you like that? Well, play with it as much as you want. I don’t know what else you’ll find to play with here.”

He set her down gently on the bed. Belze hugged the black stuffed rabbit tightly and flopped down on the bed with it.

She was half glad to know that Seo still had feelings for her, and half hoping that he would find her cute in combination with the doll.

Preoccupied with those two things, Belze was a step too late to recognize suspicious auras, such as why Seo was explaining things to the cat in a friendly way.

“You should have disappeared when I sent you off nicely. Why did you come all the way here, knowing you would get into trouble?”

It happened in an instant. Before the words could sink in, a large taser gun emerged from the envelope, and Seo fired it at Belze.

A scream echoed with the current that knocked her backward. What started out as a cat’s cry, like a child’s whimpering, quickly turned into a human voice.

In no time, the once spacious room, bedding, and the black rabbit doll all shrank. The moment Belze thought so, she realized she was thinking the opposite.

It wasn’t the room and items that had shrunk; she had grown.

Her chubby four legs turned into sturdy and long legs, and two thinner arms. Her back elongated, her neck thinned, her chest swelled, and her fingers and toes curled. In short, she had turned into a human.

“…Oh, hi.”

However, her triangular pink ears and a long tail remained the same.

Belze pushed herself up from her slumped position. Covering her front with pillows and the stuffed animal, Belze awkwardly tapped the bed with her tail in greeting.

She thought she hadn’t given away any suspicious vibes, but it was embarrassing to have been caught without lasting a day.

“How did you know?”

“It’s not every day that a cat I’ve never seen before starts acting cute towards me. I’m used to your behavior, I can see through it.”

She had just acted mischievous as a cat, but apparently, it was too obvious. Feeling a bit embarrassed, yet excited that Seo recognized her even in this form.

The technology that quickly reversed Jet’s animalization was also fascinating, but that was a story for later. What mattered now was Seo’s affection, who recognized her at a glance.

Belze was speechless as she looked up to see check Seo’s expression, and stopped when she saw Seo’s face looking more stern than ever.

“Why did you come here trusting me completely? Do you wish to be captured and confined?”

“Because I wanted to meet you….”

“Or am I that amusing? Do you think I’ll take care of you if you come here and seduce me appropriately?”

It felt like being torn apart by the harsh criticism of a beast that was usually so indifferent.

Though she hadn’t guaranteed that Seo would succumb to her seduction, she had felt a sense of pride at suddenly becoming human. She had exposed her bare body, complete with pointed cat ears and a long tail.

Just as Belze had fallen for Seo’s rabbit ears, he felt that Seo would find her cute in return. Given Seo’s attitude so far, it was a natural inference.

Even in a situation where he thought he shouldn’t approach Belze, Seo, who had previously harbored desires with a small exposure, now found himself captivated. Seeing the current appearance after being apart for so long, Belze couldn’t help but think that Seo wouldn’t resist.

However, his gaze did not burn, even as he held her n*ked body in his eyes.

It felt like being stripped bare in front of someone who despised her, as if her entire body was being scrutinized with a cold, indifferent look.

It was a different kind of embarrassment from exposing oneself willingly to someone who was interested. She felt a chill in her chest, she’d rather have those eyes lusting after her.

Belze, enduring the chill rising from her chest, reluctantly lowered the pillow that covered her chest. The outline of her br*asts, her n*pples, were right there in front of him.

“I’m here to help you.”

Seo’s eyes narrowed, and a snickering sound escaped.

“I can take care of things like the chip implanted in your wrist.”

“That’s not even funny.”

“Don’t trust my abilities? I can handle that much. – I can do it all. You don’t need to obey those people’s orders.”

“I’m not saying your skills aren’t good, I’m saying I don’t need them.”

“You like me, don’t you?”

Belze locked eyes with Seo, who was looking down at her from above. She raised her knees to meet his eye level and raised her voice.

“You still like me! You’re into me!”

Belze said forcefully, as if she had to, and there was strength in her eyes that rose higher than usual.

Upon hearing this, Seo, who had been standing a bit away from the bed, closed the distance. In a flash, he was directly in front of the bed and bowed his head. Due to the lamp above his head, a large shadow was cast over Belze’s body.

“You must have picked up on the chip thing somewhere, but so what? I don’t regret it. I accepted those conditions because I never planned to turn into a villain from the beginning, and that thought still remains.”

“So you’re going to keep carrying around small bomb with you all the time?”

“Yeah. It was an unfair deal, but it’s not like I can detonate them at will anyway. Just like you can’t quit your job as if nothing happened, I don’t have plans to quit mine.”

“Is that enjoyable for you? Following orders and catering to people’s whims?”

“Yeah. It’s enjoyable. It’s satisfying to confidently crush those crawling under me. You know well why I live as a hero.”
