Ann frowned as she looked at the man whose eyes burned with intensity. His expression was unusually fierce.

Ann bit her lip as Lennox slowly parted his own.

At her question, Lennox’s eyelashes trembled slightly. Soon, his net-like hand grabbed her and pushed her against the wall. Ann yelped and closed her eyes tightly. Fortunately, before her head hit the wall, his hand cradled it. She trembled fiercely as she glared at him.
“You said you didn’t like me.”

Ann blinked in confusion, realizing he was referring to that incident. She felt flustered as he poked at a memory she desperately wanted to forget. Her breathing became uneven, and her face flushed. Seeing this, Lennox’s face twisted in frustration.
“You clearly said you didn’t like me.”
