Beyond Paradise

I had always longed for paradise, but only from a distance.

I believed that I was destined to live a life of misery and that I would never experience anything good. A life that existed solely to ensure Blackwood’s safety, at any cost.
Was it my fault, then, for daring to desire paradise?
