I actually like this. The flow of the story, the intricacies of both leads complement each other. Too bad it was cancelled.. I wish someone else translates it..
I noticed the author writes in a similar way from those old english romance novel books (I am referring to when romance novels are only available in soft copy). It is nostalgic, and frankly, I like it because those old novels had more char depth, which the author somehow managed.
The ML was obviously unlikeable given his surface identity, but the more his inner thoughts are revealed, you’d find his character relatable at times. The same goes with the FL. Her innermost anxiety once revealed, showed her complexity as a character.
