Evan bit his lip as if in pain. Then, kneeling on one knee, he looked up at Selina.

“Still… can’t you consider it, just once?”

His large hand overlapped with the back of Selina’s. He couldn’t even grip her hand tightly, only trembling pitifully.

“Duke…?”

“I know you have no interest in me.”

As he said those words, Evan’s face looked wounded.

“It’s selfish to hold onto you. But please, consider… a life with me.”

Selina’s eyes grew wide. She couldn’t believe this moment was real. He was proposing to her.

A proposal meant only for her!

Everything coming from his lips felt like a dream. In the end, Selina burst into tears.

“Is it true…? I’m not the only one who likes you, Evan?”

“What?”

Evan was stunned by Selina’s sudden confession. His sharp mind wasn’t working at all today.

Her long eyes curved beautifully. Her excited voice drifted to Evan’s ears.

“I love you, Evan. Please say it too.”

“Selina.”

A shiver ran through Evan’s body. The woman he had longed for confessed her love to him. Unable to believe it, he kept squeezing and releasing Selina’s hand.

Joy spread across his face. Unable to contain his happiness, he pulled Selina into a tight embrace.

“I love you, Selina. I love you more than anything.”

The moment their lips met, it was fleeting. Both of them, unable to contain their rising desire, hungrily pressed their lips together.

Evan’s thick tongue wandered inside Selina’s mouth. He sucked and teased her tongue vigorously, tracing along her even teeth. Like fitting together, he repeatedly probed her throat with the tip of his tongue.
