Chapter 8
“Haang!”
And finally, when Raymond rubbed hard with the head of his c*ck against the spot where she could feel it most, Diana let out a hot breath and came in complete disarray.
A thrilling sensation, impossible to compare with when she touched herself alone down there, took over her entire body.
Her vision flickered white.
“Uh, haa.”
As her lower lips, as if they had soft teeth, clamped down tightly around what filled her without leaving a single gap, Raymond also could not hold out any longer and spilled his seed.
The hand gripping the headboard as if it might break trembled violently, trying to endure the sensation crashing over his whole body.
“Haa. Haa.”
Diana struggled to keep her eyes properly open as she laboriously accepted the sensation that had swept over her.
Her mind was in total disarray.
Was s*x originally supposed to feel like something bursting open like this?
“Uh.”
But there was not enough time to enjoy the afterglow of cl*max.
Raymond, who had been breathing roughly, heaved his shoulders several times, and then at some point, as if something had suddenly snapped, collapsed downward.
“Hm? Raymond?”
His burning-hot body tilted toward Diana.
The next moment, his large unconscious body fell weakly over her, and Diana flailed under his weight, struggling as she was pinned beneath him.
“Hey! Raymond!”
Only after she barely managed to push him off to the side and lay him down was she able to breathe properly.
When she finally turned her gaze with ragged breaths, she saw Raymond collapsed in a faint.
Below his pale face, shallow breathing spilled out unevenly.
The person she had had her first time with had fainted.
“What on earth am I even doing……”
A little later, Diana muttered as she placed a wet cloth over Raymond’s forehead.
To think the end of the first s*x of her life would be nursing the person who had fainted.
Even if she married an old man too weak to lift a spoon, something like this would hardly happen.
“Uh.”
At that moment, perhaps because what touched his forehead was cold, Raymond frowned with his eyes still closed.
But soon he went limp again, and it was only natural that watching him like that made Diana feel strangely affected.
‘Looking at him like this, he really does seem quiet.’
Raymond asleep looked excessively defenseless.
Whenever he shifted in his sleep now and then, his damp bangs scattered over the towel, and each time, facial lines far too fine to match his solidly built body were revealed.
Unlike the fact that he had been driving her relentlessly just a little while ago, it was a pretty face that naturally made one’s gaze linger.
So, anyway, she had gotten to see that pretty face again, even in a way like this, and so, separate from the string of events that had just happened, Diana left the room feeling a certain satisfaction, and also a small sense of pride at having nursed a friend.
However, if there was one thing Diana had done wrong, it was that she had left a few banknotes on the desk before going out.
From her point of view, with Raymond having no friends at all, it did not seem like anyone would go buy medicine for him, so it meant that when he woke up, he should at least buy some medicine.
In fact, beside the money she had even written down several kinds of medicine good for bringing down a fever.
She could have bought it for him herself, but it was already very late, and she had lost time she should have spent preparing for the practical exam the next day, so in her own way, it was the best sincerity she could offer.
However, the fact that the wind seeping in through the open window blew away the paper on the desk so that only the few banknotes tucked under a textbook remained there by themselves, and the fact that Diana, blessed with such a healthy body that she had never bought medicine for herself before, had left behind a much larger sum than she realized, turned out to be quite a fatal problem.
“Ha.”
So what Raymond thought when he woke up, found the empty room, and discovered the banknotes on the desk was already easy enough to guess the moment he roughly snatched the wet cloth off his forehead and threw it away.
* * *
The next day, Raymond, appearing at school for the first time in several days, naturally drew everyone’s attention.
“Wow. Raymond. I seriously thought you were just going to quit school at this rate.”
“What about the exam? Did you ask the professors to let you take an additional test?”
The students in the class made a commotion around Raymond.
Of course, as always, Raymond answered every question with only short replies, so the noise quickly died down.
But there was also something different from usual.
“……”
Seeing her chatting with her friends, Raymond did not tell her to shut up and get lost for being noisy.
Normally, he would certainly have thrown out at least one mocking remark, but for some reason this time, he merely looked down at her once, then silently stepped aside and passed by.
“What? Did getting sick mess with his head or something?”
Her friends whispered among themselves toward Diana.
“……I know, right.”
Diana answered as if unconcerned, but inwardly she felt a little strange.
Raymond surely had not gotten over his anger yet.
Considering what had happened with the letter, it would not have been strange for him to get angry immediately.
And yet, instead of the reaction she had expected, he merely stepped aside indifferently.
Seeing that, she felt oddly relieved, yet at the same time, something in one corner of her heart tickled.
Maybe he had been moved by her devoted nursing last night and decided to stop openly being hostile.
Thinking that way made her feel lighter.
Perhaps because her mood had lightened, or perhaps because all the overnight magic practice in the library while clutching her aching waist had paid off, Diana managed to get a much higher score on that day’s exam than she had expected.
‘I wonder if Raymond did well on the exam too.’
Diana thought as she came out of the examination room.
Because of the nature of the exam, conducted one-on-one with a professor in a private room, there was no way to know the others’ scores right away, but practical magic was Raymond’s specialty.
He might even have scored enough to make up for some of his previous points.
“I think I’m kind of broad-minded.”
Pleased with herself for caring even about her rival’s score, which was unlike her usual self, Diana rounded the corner of the hallway in a good mood.
“Eek! Wh-what……”
That was when it happened.
Suddenly, a firm hand seized her wrist in an instant, almost like snatching it.
Before her scream could even finish, Diana’s body was dragged away just like that, and soon she was shoved roughly into an empty classroom.
The sound of the door shutting behind her rang out sharply.
“How lightly do you have to think of me to pull something like that?”
Only for a moment was she startled by the harsh sound of the closing door, because the low voice falling over her head instantly stopped Diana’s movement.
Even amid the throbbing pain in her captured wrist, she recognized that familiar voice at once.
“Raymond?”
The moment she hurriedly lifted her gaze, gray-brown eyes looking down at her coldly struck into her view.
“What is this all of a sudden……. No, more importantly, didn’t you take the exam?”
Flustered, Diana’s gaze wavered.
The man before her was dressed not in the magic robe used for the exam, but in ordinary clothes.
And on top of that, there was not even the faint lingering trace of magic power that should naturally have been felt if he had taken the test.
“How stupid do you have to be to think you could settle the price with one time?”
“What?”
At the words that followed, Diana furrowed her brows.
A pain too serious to ignore throbbed from her wrist, but right now her attention was drawn more to what she had just heard.
He said I was stupid?
“It was my mistake to expect even a normal level of common sense from you.”
There was contempt in his gaze with not the slightest filter.
As he slowly bent down while still holding her wrist, those coldly cooled eyes came right up close to her face.
“……”
Naturally, the mood Diana had been in only moments before sank all at once, as though cold water had been thrown over her.
She had been happy because she had done well on the exam.
She had been happy because, for the first time, Raymond had not looked down on her.
To be honest, while looking at his sleeping face last night, she had even thought he might be a better person than she had expected.
But what came back was, as expected, the same unpleasant attitude as always.
